Outdoors the home offers privacy and a large covered concrete dock, fire pit with wood, kindling and roasting sticks, corn hole, hot tub, outdoor seating for 12+, 2 Kayaks/paddles, 2 Paddle boards/paddles, parking for 3-4 cars in driveway (additional parking available if needed ask for details), stainless steel cable railing, and natural gas Blackstone griddle. Indoors you will find smart TV’s for streaming (6 TV’s), a fully equipped kitchen (appliances, crock pot, blender, toaster, mixer, pots/pans, glassware, plates, cups, bowls, utensils, griddle, George Foreman grill, combo coffee pot (pods & carafe), USB outlet in kitchen for charging convenience, 2 person 'Doc & Pies' arcade game and a separate foos ball table. Everything you need is there. The covered dock is wonderful along with the paddle boards and kayaks. Check in was easy. Owner very responsive. Loved our stay!!

Nice place

Great for family stay. Older adults my have issue w steps leading to dock but my mom said it was worth it. Would stay there again.

Thank you, all for staying with us. Yes the trade-off in being in a nice deep water cove is a few steps to the water. But our guest say it’s well worth it. Keep in mind we have two other homes that are just a half of a mile away on the main channel but they have no steps and side-by-side with them to come and go to the water. See you next time.

Family get away

Perfect spot to relax or enjoy water activities. Nice quiet cove with plenty of indoor amenities for the occassional rainy day.

What an amazing place! Marie was fantastic with communication, the house was beautiful, and it was in a great location. The kids loved the arcade, foosball table, and swimming off the dock. We had a great weekend at the lake.

We had an amazing time at this property, one of the nicest stays. The lake is beautiful especially love the dock, kids enjoying spending all day swimming down there.

Hiawassee Haven

Nice part of the lake. Close to boat ramp and dock was awesome. House was comfortable with plenty of room for all.

AMAZING stay!

Marie was great, Kept in contact with us and allowed us to check in early. Home was amazing with the view down to the water. It was our first time visiting that lake and we are already looking forward to coming down again!

What a great place for a family getaway

Amazing location, quite and tucked away from the boat traffic but close to some great activities. The water at norris lake is unbelievable clean and turquoise. The owner was always in communication and very helpful. Would definently stay here again.

Peaceful and relaxing getaway!

We had a peaceful and relaxing time at Hiwassee Haven. We loved the beautiful lake views from the back decks and from the large private dock. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. The owner was kind, thoughtful, and attentive to make sure we had everything to make our stay enjoyable.

Great set up and easy location.

Great property and location. Easy to work with and good spot in the lake. Several nice touches. Only drawback was bad internet and cell service.

Thanks for the review. Im working diligently to get high speed internet into the subdivision. We bought the $1,400 booster and it works good for our phones through verizon. Sorry yours did not work as well. My apologies. Hope to see you next year. You can also check out our other lake house at Vrbo.com/336778. It's only 2 miles from town and has high speed. Awesome property!!!

The property was fabulous….clean, accessible, had all the amenities you would need. The host was easy to get a hold of. Would definitely recommend this property! It’s perfectly located in a nice, quiet cove. Our family of 10 enjoyed all it had to offer. We will definitely go back.

Lake get away

Very clean, very well stocked - plenty of toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags for 12 people! Kids loved the board games, arcade game and foosball. It was great having paddle boards and kayaks provided. Good workout walking down the hill to the lake and back up to the house! Convenient to the marina - we rented a pontoon boat.

Thank you all for staying with us!! Everyone loves the private cove as a great reward for the steps (60 steps I think it is) lol. We try our best to supply everything you need to have a great stay. Hope to see you all again. Remember if you have larger groups and don’t want ANY steps we have Anchors Away and Whatta View just down the road and those sleep 17 and 18.

Wonderful Stay

Property was very clean and had lots of extra touches. Very good communication with property owner. We enjoyed sitting on the porch looking at the lake. It was so nice to have the dock for our boat! Not to mention all the fun extras, paddle boards, kayaks, etc. Highly recommend Hiwassee Haven and would definitely stay again!

Great Experience and Good Property

Hiwassee Haven was an awesome experience for our family and friends. Our stay was very comfortable with tons of amenities and water activities on the property. Beautiful location with calm and scenic views, clean property and very responsive and helpful host. Thanks, Marie for all your help during our stay. We will definitely revisit in the future.

GREAT ESCAPE

House and property were just as described. Marie is great and very helpful with contacts for everything to do around the lake. The house is located near the back of a quiet cove, which really made it nice on the busy lake weekend.

The rental property was as advertised.

The house was very nice and stocked with everything you need. My 6 grandsons love the dock. Lots of fishing and swimming. Very easy to dock a boat at.

Norris Family Vacation

My family and I enjoyed a weeklong vacation on beautiful Norris Lake during the first week of July. Marie was great to work with and quick to answer any questions or concerns that we had. The home was clean and met our expectations for a great week on the lake. We loved having the paddleboard’s, kayaks and floating toys. I would definitely recommend this vacation home.

Great Property

The location of this house was great. In a private cove which was nice and it was located about 30 minutes from 1-75. There are two marina's that are close and plenty of open space on the lake to explore. The dock was perfect to hang out on when we were off the boat with plenty seating space for our large group. The house was well equipped with all the necessary things you need to cook. We would definitely return!!

Great location!

We really enjoyed this house! It’s in a great cove that is private and close drive to a few marinas. Great fire pit! Best stock of paper towels/towels/wash clothes I’ve ever stayed in! Loved the dock with kayaks and it was covered! We didn’t get good cell phone reception but that wasn’t the home owners fault. It is located in a valley. We would definitely stay in this house again!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We love our cove and glad you enjoyed it. We strive to provide everything we can in hopes you have a great vacation and are not exhausted bringing everything. We hope to see you in the future. We try to add new things each year like the 2 Kayaks last year and the stand up pedal board this year. Thanks to our cove we can use those toys. We are going to try to clear out some trees over the winter as we own the lots across the road in hopes that will help regain the cell signal. We had decent signal up until this year. Added the Viasat internet and so far it is working great. Thanks again for staying with us.
