Gorgeous farm cottage The Granary is a peaceful, bright and warm cottage surrounded by nature, located very near the city. We found everything necessary to spend some calm days in the beautiful Cheltenham countryside. Comfortable and spacious bedrooms, tranquil garden, large living and dining rooms, a modern bathroom and a well-equipped kitchen are part of the cottage that made our stay remarkable.

A lovely stay...

We had a great short break staying here and would definitely recommend... we met the owner who is an absolute gent, plus his horse and apple-loving sheep! The Granary is so peaceful, and is in a great location to visit some of jewels of The Cotswolds...we would definitely stay here again! Thank you S & J! x

A very comfortable stay

The Granary was a very spacious and comfortable place to stay, attractively decorated and quiet. Lots of beautiful places to walk and visit. Cheltenham is very nearby, and shops are within easy reach. Stephen and Jess were perfect hosts, very quick to respond if there was a problem but unobtrusive otherwise. We had a most enjoyable week. Thank you!

Another great stay

This was the third stay that we have had over the Christmas period here. It is a great base for our family of four and two dogs. The house is well equipped and as usual we received a warm welcome from the owner who always checks to ensure we have everything we need.

Peaceful retreat

Really beautiful location. The property is at the end of a lane and surrounded by fields, so very quiet - yet close to amenities locally and in both Cheltenham and Gloucester. We also went to Sudeley Castle (really interesting!), Bourton on the Water, Northleach (great food at the Wheatsheaf); the kids spent a morning on the high ropes and bouldering at the 270 Climbing Park. We also did a couple of the walks from the literature left in the cottage (from Miserden and Sheepscombe) and paid a brief visit to Cooper's Hill to see the site of the annual cheese-rolling event. The cottage itself is well maintained and equipped and very comfortable. We were blessed with a beautiful sunset on our first night, a full moon and stars a few nights later. The patio garden is great for a sunny breakfast outside, or for an evening aperatif. We really enjoyed our time at the Granary and hope to be able to come back to this pretty corner of the English countryside.

Wonderful stay

We have had a wonderful stay at the Granary. Stephen is a very friendly host, the house is spacious and very comfortable and the location is perfect for exploring the Cotswolds and all its walks. If you are looking for a quiet stay, but not far away from a few big cities, this is the place to be.

A lovely family short stay

Stephen and Jessica are very welcoming hosts. The cottage is very comfortable and located in the middle of fields with many lovely walks to do in the area. We had a great family stay!

Short stay for instance repairs on our property

All about the Granery was superb . We had to stay in accommodation nearby our property ,whilst repairs were carried out and this was perfect . Stephen was very helpful and we would use it again .

The most amazing family getaway.

From the start Stephen was helpful and welcoming. He provided for us beyond what could reasonably be expected and we felt very welcome. Even for us fussy clean freaks, everything was fabulously clean. The Granary was spacious, comfortable and cosy. We had a great time exploring the area and feeding the animals. We created fabulous memories with the kids and would highly reccomend this to anyone looking.

Perfect

Excellent stay! Accommodation was perfect, with all amenities necessary. We especially enjoyed the fire in the evenings. Stephen was really helpful and answered any questions straight away. Location great. We’re a Family of 4 & a dog and had a lovely stay.

Nice week in the cotswolds

The cottage was excellently equipped. We had a lot of space. The owners were very nice and greeted us with eggs, milk and a bunch of flowers.

Lovely place, lovely owners. Highly reccomended.

Stayed here with my wife and two young children. Wonderful hosts who took the time to make us feel at home. The property was larger than expected and well equiped. Very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Highly reccomended.

Our stay at The Granary, Hunts Court

We really enjoyed our stay at The Granary at Hunts Court. It was clean, comfortable and had everything that we could possibly need. The outdoor seating in the evening sunshine was an added bonus for enjoying a cup of tea after a busy day out. Stephen was most welcoming and helpful. The location was particularly peaceful, ensuring a good night's sleep. There was ample safe parking right outside the door. We hope to stay at The Granary again when we are in the area.

Perfect Stay at Christmas

We were welcomed by our host, who was friendly and informative. The house was of a good size and had comfortable sofas and beds. A nice log burner kept us warm and cosy. There was also a large area in which to walk our dogs as well as a small self-contained garden. Just perfect!

A perfect cottage

Granary Cottage was absolutely beautiful and even more spacious than shown. It was immaculate, very well equipped and the owner Stephen was so very friendly, welcoming and helpful without being intrusive. The views from the bedrooms were fabulous and the countryside location was spectacular. A truly fabulous holiday in a perfect cottage and really accommodating for our two labradors so that we could relax and enjoy them

Excellent cottage. Very comfortabele

We enjoyed our time in this cottage. All very comfortable and practical. The owner was very friendly and helpful with directions and tips. We enjoyed the quiet location. Chrltenham and Gloucester on the doorstep. The Farm Shop next door has excellent EV charging facilities as well as a nice shop of course. Catching the sun on the patio was very much enjoyed.

A perfect stay.

Steven was so helpful with all matters and our welcome was felt before we got there. The house is perfect for a family get together with plenty space and excellent utilities. The kitchen and equipment is to a very high standard. Everything is there that you need. Lovely walks around the area around their lambs and horses was wonderful and we made use of their bbq as well. Will be back! Thank you!

stunning property in quiet location

Absolutely stunning property in a lovely, quiet rural setting. Just a short drive to Cheltenham or Gloucester. Unfortunately we stayed during Storm Bert so were unable to take advantage of the nearby walks, but are planning to return again in the summer. The owner could not be more welcoming. The fresh eggs from the farm hens were delicious.

Calm, comfortable stay that exceeded expectations

My spouse, teenage son, and I enjoyed our visit. The Granary was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had all the utensils and appliances we needed. Stephen was a kind and unintrusive host. We loved the quiet and proximity to sheep, lambs, horses, chickens and cats. We were surprised at how large the cottage was. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm, comfortable place to stay near Cheltenham.
