ASTA Suite is the ONLY private street level waterfront property in Seldovia that overlooks the entrance to the small boat harbor. You will have an over 800 square foot deck exclusively yours with patio furniture to lounge on and enjoy the awesome views
Your private street level entrance leads you past our greenhouse where you will see a rope gate made of boat float buoys that states (Private) You are the only Suite we have and that entire deck is just for you . We have bikes available for our guests at no charge as well as a new gas BBQ on the deck for your use
Relax and Enjoy your deck in comfortable chairs or chaise lounges complete with plush throws to cuddle up in as you watch the boats return each evening with their catch of the day .
This suite includes wifi, a kitchenette ( no stove), couch and dining table suitable for doubling as a work space.
We even provide you soft microfiber bathrobes for lounging around in the mornings

Loved it

We loved staying here. So peaceful. Food options in town are limited but what we ate was very good. Rented a gold cart and went all over. Were there during salmonberry season. Picked some and added it to the vanilla ice cream from the local ice cream shop. So good! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great host, fabulous views

We had a very relaxing couple days in Seldovia. We could have easily spent our time lounging on the deck overlooking the harbor. Sandy was incredibly helpful helping us with logistics of getting to town and providing contacts for some local activities. I'd highly recommend booking here!

Perfect getaway on a small harbor

A friend and I spent 3 nights here in July - it was a perfect place to hang out, watch the harbor scene, and explore Seldovia area. Extra bonus was a couple evenings of sun on the deck. While I haven't stayed anywhere else in Seldovia, having walked around town, I'd venture that this waterfront suite was the best in town. One caveat - the couch isn't meant for sleeping on, which I did, but someone who needs a firm mattress should not count on that as an option.

Fantastic place to stay

We wish we could keep this place a secret hideaway for just us but we know that won't work. What a great place to stay! The deck has the most fabulous view and comfortable chairs, great to relax after a hike. Beautiful sunsets. The inside is perfect with a comfy bed and nice linens. We had the best weekend and look forward to staying here again.

A little slice of Heaven

What a gorgeous place! The accommodations were exceptional even with the pouring rain. The huge deck provided an oasis from the rain but allowed us to take in the gorgeous view. The indoor accommodations were perfect. Sandy, the host, provided excellent information. What a gem of a place!

Room at Asta gallary.

Great room and PRIVATE deck overlooking the marina. Awesome views from the deck. Room was comfortable and cozy. Host was fantastic. We used the gas grill with cast iron skillet and griddle for cooking, worked well. Be advised grocery stores only stock frozen meat, you need to plan ahead to defrost. Absolutley loved our stay.

Restful escape

Sandy is an amazing host. Seldovia is a beautiful place to explore and get away from the business of the everyday life. My husband and I were able to really slow down enjoy Gods creation and just enjoy the simplicity of being out in nature with the comfort of a clean and comfortable place to come back to each day with amazing views of the harbor and inlet including eagles and otters and other wildlife. I would heartily recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in Seldovia. There were very many thoughtful amenities. Thank you, Sandy!

Best Anniversary Getaway

An amazing place, highly recommend!

This was such a beautiful place to stay with an amazing deck looking out over the bay. Sandy was a great host, made check in easy, and has everything you need for your stay. We would 100% recommend staying here and will definitely be back!

Nugget in Seldovia

The wonderful view off the deck is a perfect complement to the cozy, clean and comfortable suite in Seldovia. Centrally located and literally steps from the ferry landing, this is a terrific place to enjoy everything that Seldovia has to offer. All the amenities are top notch and Sandy is the perfect host. If this little nugget is available, grab it! You won’t be disappointed!

The perfect spot for an escape

The Asta Suite and Seldovia were perfect for a long weekend get-away to shut off from the rest of the world! The comfortable and cozy suite with the beautiful deck was wonderful in sunny weather!

Ahhh Seldovia!

Nice relaxing stay in Seldovia! Sandy (owner) was excellent in letting us know what was available in town, and walking us through the check in process. Just as advertised, room was quiet, comfortable and clean. My wife and I really enjoyed sitting on the large spacious porch watching the boats, birds, and fish swimming by while enjoying the sun. Kitchen includes a microwave, small refrigerator, Hot/Cold water, all the dish ware you could need and a shower that has some oomph behind it! Yes, we would gladly stay here again!
