Perfect home from home stay

Fabulous 2 night stay with friends. House immaculate and well equipped. Thoughtful welcome gifts. Home from home. Beds all super comfy. Great pub food ( Kings Arms) Excellent communication Would highly recommend.

Incredible stay

A beautiful house which is set up with an abundance of equipment for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Great position, with a really lovely enchanted garden pub down the road, as well as lovely home made scotch eggs opposite! The cottage owner, Anna, was incredibly helpful during our stay. We are looking forward to a return visit soon!

Wedding Stay

The Cottage was spacious , comfortable , and had everything you would need in the Kitchen . The beds were comfy , and because we were there for a Wedding we did not have a lot of time to spend in the Cottage , but it was very welcoming to come back to.

Weekend Retreat in rural village setting

With stunning views across open countryside and a picture postcard village setting, this was the perfect home for home for our family to gather for a celebratory weekend away. Safe for children and dog to play in the garden while the grown ups enjoyed the sociable layout, inside and out. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful cottage

We had a great stay at Woodside Cottage. Great location with pubs, butcher and playground all a short walk away. House was more spacious than the photos give credit for, felt plenty spacious for grandparents, parents, toddler and a dog. Would love to visit again

We had a wonderful weekend for my partners 40th! We have made sure to also note there was a slight fault with the master bedroom door. Wouldn't shut and looked like someone previously had bashed it. So we thought best to notify as a hazard. The property was warm, welcoming and it was lovely having the touches of fresh bread, butter and milk along with a lovely gift to my partner also. I would love to return! We didnt have children but can vouch this would be an excellent family stay with many games included. We enjoyed both pubs but particularly the kings arms where the food and hospitality was 100%. Its a great location in the cotswolds that removes you from the very busy tourist areas although a lovely short drive to other parts.

Wonderful stay at Woodside

We had a fantastic stay at Woodside Cottage and honestly couldn't fault it. The cottage was spotlessly clean from the moment we arrived, and it was clear a lot of care goes into looking after this place. The facilities were brilliant, really well stocked with everything you could need, right down to plenty of glasses, plates, and kitchenware, which made cooking and entertaining so easy. The gas BBQ was a lovely touch and got plenty of use during the hot weather we had, perfect for evenings outside. Everyone enjoyed the pool table and darts board. The beds were really comfortable, so we all slept brilliantly, and the showers were lovely too a great way to freshen up after a day out. Everything about the cottage made for a relaxing, hassle-free break. We'd definitely stay again and would happily recommend Woodside Cottage to anyone looking for a well-equipped, comfortable retreat.

Peaceful Retreat

Relaxing stay in a lovely setting

We stayed at this property for 4 days in order to attend a nearby wedding. The property was exactly as described. With young kids the added bonus of the pool table, various board games and plentiful books kept them entertained! Would happily stay again

We had a great family weekend at Woodside. The house is generously sized, well equipped and very comfortable. Very family friendly with high chair and cot etc. welcome pack was a nice touch.

Lovely Christmas weekend getaway

The cottage is absolutely perfect for a Christmas getaway. Lovely open fire and a Christmas tree with other festive decorations helped our family feel the Christmas spirit while traveling. Lovely welcome touches with wine, mince pies and coffee and our daughter’s favorite, chocolates! Close to good walks and places to eat. Super kid friendly with books and games. Would highly recommend!

A short family stay in the Cotswolds

It was all we could have hoped for especially the child provisions. The beds were very comfortable. It was nice to have some bread etc and a bottle of wine. Plenty of parking space for our 3 cars. All in all just what we needed for our short stay.

Spacious cottage pleasantly furnished. Welcome hamper. Well stocked kitchen. Helpful owners let us arrive a bit early. Maybe bathrooms could do with a refresh.

Great Long Weekend Stay

We stayed at Woodside Cottage for a long weekend and really enjoyed the stay. The cottage is large and well equipped and in a great location. The village has a couple of nice pubs just a short walk away and a Morrison Daily and a good butchers. The cottage is about 70 yards away from the foot path to link into walks to the beautiful Chipping Campden and Hidcote Gardens. There’s plenty more we didn’t get time to see and will look to stay again in future.

Super Rental House with lots of amenities

A well presented house with plenty of space and everything you could want - lots of plates & cups; tvs, games and books etc. House is clean and comfortable with great views out to the back. Easy walking distance to village with choice of pubs and small shops. Highly recommended especially for families with young kids or groups of adults looking for some peace and relaxation

Perfect stay, perfect location, beautiful cottage.

A group of 2 families with 3 children (between ages 1 - 3) stayed at this cottage over a weekend. From our first view of the cottage when we pulled into the drive it was beautiful and very well maintained. The inside was even more perfect, rooms were beautiful and tastefully decorated, kitchen was very well equipped - we couldn’t fault it. Beds were comfortable and great sizes. This cottage was perfect as when the kids were in bed the adults could make use of the games room. The welcome pack of coffee and chocolates was a nice touch. The cottage is perfectly located with a convenience store a short walk away and a pub (food is lovely!). We drove to Bourton on the Water which took about 20/25 minutes so a great location if you want to explore the Cotswolds. I would definitely stay here again.

A great cottage to meet up with friends

We stayed at the Woodside cottage for a Friday to Sunday break. It was a chance for a group of old friends to get together. As we were travelling from around the UK the location of the Cottage in the Cotswolds was perfect. The instructions for arrival were brilliant and the cleanliness of the cottage was perfect. Some great little touches such as a loaf of bread and butter in the kitchen were great. Little shop over the road and a few ace pubs all within walking distance made for a really enjoyable weekend.

Ideal retreat for visiting the beautiful Cotswolds and Stratford upon Avon

Well laid out roomy accommodation with all the necessary appliances/equipment to make your stay comfortable. Situated in a lovely village within easy reach (circa 30 minutes) of many attractions. Garden quite small and website gives the impression of a much bigger space with views over the surrounding countryside. The views are there but only from the upstairs bedrooms. Local pubs very welcoming, food in King’s Arms particularly good. Local butchers sausages a must try. All in all a lovely stay, thank you.
