This listing is now for the entire house. The kitchen is NOT shared with a local restaurant. Complete privacy. Three double bedrooms in old Harbourside house. Two with sea views sharing a bathroom on the top floor and one with it's own bathroom on the first floor. Wake up to amazing seascapes in comfortable warm rooms. Huge double height gallery room off kitchen with TV lounge area and dining table. Stunning!

An absolute gem

The very best on the Fife Coast

The house offers everything for a family or a group of friends. The house is well-appointed, and the kitchen is a dream; an asset for those who cook rarely found in a guest house. Everything in the village is a walk away, including a small shop that can provide for most urgent needs. James is next door and is accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay and will certainly be back.

Relaxing

Fresh air and seafood. Very bright and airy house. Bring your own toiletries and supplies i.e tea and coffee. Need to book east pier a week in advance but it’s worth it. Wholesale fresh seafood at top of hill is unbeatable - scallops and smoked haddock for breakfast.

Perfect, and I don't say that very often

I almost don't want to submit a review as I don't want people to realise what a jem this is and for it to be fully booked all the time. A superb property situated in picture perfect harbour location. Lounge area is warm and welcoming with large open fire and comfortable range of seating. Restaurant style, professional kitchen. Comfortable, cosy bedrooms with sea views and a quirky mezzanine seating area. I simply cant fault it and will without doubt return. Many thanks to the host.

Delightful stay and great location!

Fantastic accommodations, awesome views and perfect location, outstanding restaurant with an awesome view, loved the owners and the art displayed in the house, met with the owners, very personable, plenty of room for the 6 of us adults. Not so great washer/dryer situation but we are spoiled. Loved the gourmet kitchen and 3 bathrooms are perfect. We highly recommend this property and would definitely book again. Make sure you go to the grocery store before you get there as it is a bit of drive to Aldi, etc. Otherwise, just delightful.

Lovely waterfront rental

We spent two weeks in Scotland and our second week was in St. Monans. This is lovey rental property and the Owner added fresh flowers to both living room and kitchen which was a lovely touch. We learned early that dinner reservations anywhere in the area were a must. We only used kitchen for breakfast and it had everything that we needed. This was a great location for our "golf" guys and the girls spent the week visiting ancient castles and chapels. Most locations were an easy drive and less than a hour. We would recommend this property although as in many places in Scotland, it is not handicap friendly which was not problem for us but just a warning. Thank you James.

A lovely property to stay in. The location is very good. We enjoyed the sea views.

This was an excellent property to rent. The host was very friendly and helpful. The house was spacious, clean and well furnished. We had a very comfortable and happy stay.

We had a fanatastic time!

Great cottage with marvelous view. We enjoyed our evenings in front of the cosy fireplace. Lots of space and lots of style. James is an excellent host. We also had dinner at his East Pier Smokehouse which was delicious.

Main room is a double height space with TV lounge area and dining table off kitchen. First floor mezzanine overlooking this. Two double bedrooms on the top floor with a shared shower bathroom and one double on the first floor with its own bathroom. (all beds king size). Large well-equipped professional kitchen.
