PRIVATE COUNTRY SETTING AT THE BASE OF THE WEST SIDE OF THE TETONS

Nestled inside our PRIVATE former horse pasture and now featuring a waterfowl pond is our beautiful guest house.

Our guest house is a fully furnished 400 SQ. foot tiny home with full-size appliances, private bedroom, loft, living room including a full bathroom with bathtub and shower. The private bedroom on the main floor features a full bed with a closet. The loft area is open to the living and kitchen area with queen accommodations and a reading/sitting area. Our living area faces west for lovely sunset views, electric fireplace, flat screen TV/DVD player, and includes Direct TV. The property also has access to WiFi. The kitchen is fully functional to either cook a beautiful meal at home or to sit back and relax after a meal in town. If you don't feel like cooking indoors, we have provided a gas BBQ grill and outdoor covered sitting area on the upper deck, while the sunny lower deck features two outdoor lounge chairs and sitting area for lounging or visiting about your day. Our place is an ideal couples retreat and great location to explore Eastern Idaho and Western Wyoming during any season. Our own domestic critters include geese (the three stooges), ducks, peacocks, a few cats and "Jack" our Border Collie for a bit of entertainment.

Heading outside, views from the front decks face west to the Big Hole mountains for beautiful sunsets with milkshakes or cocktails in hand. Grand Targhee to the northeast, the winter ski, and summer mountain bike resort, can also be viewed from the decks. We are centrally located from the towns of Driggs (3 miles) and Victor (7 miles) for shopping and a plethora of dining experiences while Grand Targhee is a mere 9 miles away. Even though we are close to local features, we are set in a laid back rural area of the valley which offers peace and quiet for those days or evenings when you just want to wind down. Numerous bike trails, hiking, golfing, fishing or a nice float on the Teton River are minutes away for summer users. In the winter season, skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and other winter sports are abundant. We are a hop skip and a jump to Jackson Hole Wyoming, Grand Teton National Park, as well as Yellowstone National Park.

This place was perfect for our trip. We did have to drive a bit to get to where we planned to do our activities, but with scenery like this, it was not an issue.

Serenity away from home

Exceeded our expectations. It's a tiny house, but the space is maximized, with a full sized bedroom and bathroom and an extensive loft. The location was beautiful, in a secluded farm setting, yet close to Driggs and Victor, which had restaurants, pharmacies, grocery stores and everything else you might need. The peacocks were a nice addition to our stay. We miss it already and hope to be back here in the future. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Tucked away from the hustle

From reading previous reviews we knew to stagger our showers and had no issues. It made it easy to get to Tetons, Mesa Falls, great breakfast and lunch options in both Victor and Driggs. Would absolutely stay again

Amazing tiny house with charm

We LOVED staying here. Exceptionally clean, well equipped, not too far out, and in a quiet country setting. Relaxing, so much character. The peacocks were beautiful and a joy to watch. Would definitely recommend!

They absolutely saved our trip and we can’t express how wonderful our stay was. Check in/out was super easy and convenient. Everything we needed was already supplied and allowed us to enjoy our vacation without any worries. The host was very informative before arrival as well as during our stay. We were able to visit both the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone, as well as enjoy Targhee Resort! Ms Jo even went above and beyond after I realized that I had left a personal item hours after we had checked out. It was a 10/10 and completely worth the book for us!! We hope to one day be back!! 😊 oh… and the peacocks we fun too 😉

Great experience

It was overall a great experience the place was clean and the peacocks were cool to look at and were not a bother to us at all. The only downside we had was the queen bed was in the loft instead of downstairs so you have to really duck to get to it but overall we had a great experience.

Peacock house

Overall I would recommend it. The hot water heat was not sufficient for the 3 of us to take showers. It didn’t last for one shower. The loft upstairs is not tall enough to stand and has a narrow staircase. It would be difficult for some adults to navigate. Absolutely loved the peacocks that roamed outside. Host was accommodating when the pillows were too full. She dropped off flatter pillows with satin pillow cases.

Vacation

The place needs air conditioning & the outside needs to the grass cut & trim properly. also the hot water heater needs to be bigger two people can not take a shower back to back. Other then that the stay was good.

Beautiful and Private

Our stay was great. Nice and clean property. Convenient to a grocery store that has lots of yummy prepared food for your day trips or dinner. Convenient to Tetons and Yellowstone. Love the peacocks.

Perfect Location

It may be listed as a Tiny Home but it did not feel tiny at all! The kitchen was well appointed. There were two porches to enjoy and plenty of privacy. It was decorated beautifully. The location was perfect for us because we enjoy hiking the Tetons from the Idaho side. The proximity to Driggs and Victor was perfect. Thank You! Roger & Michele

Oasis on the west side

A lovely little house with all the comforts (large bathroom and full kitchen!)! We had an amazing stay and the kids loved watching the peacocks and petting the friendly cats. Close to town and to sooo much hiking and other fun outdoor activities. Cannot recommend this place enough.

It was fine

The peacocks were super loud and you have to watch out for the poop everywhere. There is absolutely no AC but don’t worry there is heating. You can only take a short showers even though you’ve most likely been outside all day. The tiny house, and I mean TINY, is very dusty. You have to park away from the house. The beds were clean but very firm. Overall it was, fine.

Great stay on the quiet side of the Tetons

A nice quiet little place, perfect for a couple. It's far enough away from Jackson and West Yellowstone to be relaxing, while still within reasonable driving distance. The peacocks are fun to watch, but can be a little loud early in the morning. 😀

Comfortable and convenient

Such a nice place! Spotless and had everything we needed. Added bonus was the beautiful peacocks. Convenient affordable location to Jackson Hole and Tetons. Also right down the road from a neat little town with some awesome restaurants.

Road Trip

This place was wonderful for the few nights that we stayed. Everything was clean, quiet and private. The peacocks were a really nice touch as well! Our host was very responsive and helpful! The town of Driggs is a quaint little town too!
