This is a 1 bedroom apartment that is located on the ground level of the building that can accommodate up to 3 people for 1 double bed and a sofa bed set up in the living area.

The apartment has been newly renovated and equipped for a phenomenal stay. It has a well-equipped kitchen including an electric oven, hob, fridge, toaster, and a kettle. The bathroom comes with a bathtub and electric shower combination.

Looks wise ok. But sofa bed was in disrepair. It was advertised free wifi. And tv we had nothing. There was zero contact from person. Not even a plug in the sink. Will not stay there again.

At 4.15pm I was informed that I needed to move accommodation due to unresolved issues at Dickson Road.The alternative was in Tyldesley Road. On arrival the property had no electricity. The door lock was hanging off, bed linen dirty / heavily soiled. The sofa was broken and couldn’t be sat on and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. There was mouldy food in the fridge, the window lock was broken leaving the property unsure as it was on the ground floor. When contacted the owner suggested that I should go into the basement to reset electric, I have special needs and cannot read I am also autistic so found this extremely difficult. Eventually agreed to send someone. My parents decided that I couldn’t safely stay in this property and found me alternative accommodation. I was tired confused and anxious having travelled nearly all day from Suffolk. After sending someone the owner stopped taking my phone calls or responding to emails and messages. DO NOT STAY IN ANY OF THESE PROPERTIES Trading standards need to investigate.

Fabulous stay

We could not have been treated any better, there was a issue with a boiler (nobody’s fault) and we were moved / upgraded apartments pretty quick.

Terrible flat! Dirty,disgusting bed and sofa, water leak under kitchen sink,smell of drugs and pee.

The flat was very dirty and disgusting, broken bed, broken and dirty sofa, never get answered from Host! Fire alarm started no one answered to emergency call,firefighters come to sorted out the alarm,kitchen sink was broken and water was leaking under sink to kitchen, we put bucket under sink, curtains was dirty and broken, people could see everything in house,carpet from entrance was terrible like abandoned house ruined my holiday very sad and disappointed that someone can take money and rent such disgusting homes!

No blind on a window in the big bay window so house across the road could see in sleeping area , messages contact on the 1 st day nothing done .messaaged about no hot water 2nd day , was told to use a swithch outside bathroom , that only turned the power to the shower on .So had no hat water monday-friday .Sheets had dirty stains on mattress was just springs through , had to buy blow up mattresses for both beds , no wardrobe to put clthes only 3 small draws for a family of 4 .Dirty tiwls behind the front doors mon -thursday , hall way has old carpet and looks discusting .Overall a terrible place to stay with only email contact , was supposed to get keysafe detail so we could enter at 4 pm I had to ring at 20 past 4 and she said o i forgot, eventually got in at 435.But at check out time they was banging on the door at 10 , horeible cleaner with a bed attitude and very ignorant. .not value for money at all disgusting

Great value for money, exceeding our expectations

Had a great stay at Empire apartments Flat 2. Very clean, spacious flat with comfortable bed, nice new bathroom, well equipped kitchen. Heating worked great, plenty of hot water. Ideal pet friendly flooring and useful inner courtyard space. Appreciate the care put into preparing the accommodation for guests. We will book again.

Terrible

No heating on arrival weak door lock ripped damaged sofa heating next day no communication with landlord after lots of calls and texts someone just called wyle we were out and fixed it no password for the tv people sleeping on the stairs every time we locked the back door someone opened it again didn’t feel safe at all. Wouldn’t never recommend this place to anyone.

Not a great experience to begin with but relaxed and enjoyed our stay once issues got resolved

Basic but clean, on arrival meet with undesirable individual sleeping at back door, he left and returned several times in the 1st 24hrs. Called emergency number who advised they would resolve issue and call back. No call back received but individual did not return so can only assume he wasoved along. Used tram stop and daily ticket great value. TV only works with a streaming account, Internet connection very poor. Not sure I would book again to be honest, but good value for what you get.

Absolutely awful

Absolutely appalling, had to block door as it wouldn’t lock. Someone came to door to fix water at half 10 at night, looked like the Grim Reeper 😔 cleaning hadn’t been done and there was slimy snotters on the wall. Left during the night to stay else where. Waiting on refund and compensation hopefully for wasting our time. Stay clear.

Sleeping on the floor would be more comfortable

The mattress in the main bed was terrible not only could you feel the springs but every time you moved they twanged. The sofa bed was even worse not only was it uncomfortable to sit on but sleeping on it was torture resulted to floor as more comfortable. Tv advertised with tv it had one quite a good one in fact only problem no channels what so ever and would not connect to internet to use for anything online either. To top it off the delightful people in the apartment above decided to leave a dog in it whilst they decided to go out and it barked from 1pm right through to give 1130pm. We did call the number to inform the property owner but nothing was done about it. If you want a holiday for a HMO or homeless shelter experience this would be perfect for you. Will never stop there again

An atrocious dump!!

The place stunk of cannabis, there were stains all over carpets, which were also in terrible disrepair. Wifi non existent, oven was dirty, sofa dirty and also badly in need of replacing. Bed falling to pieces. Worst of all there was no heating or hot water and no answer when we tried to contact emergency number. We were seemingly left to freeze to death. Booked for 3 night stay but moved to alternative accommodation with a different provider after 1st night. The place was a living hell and even 1 night was too long to spend there. Environmental health need to pay them a visit.

No information sheets about how to use TV, cooker etc, NO FIRE ALARM, EVACUATION PROCEEDURE INFO.. sofa bed awful, no padding ,sank into seat when sitting, horrendous to try to sleep on, ended stay early ...
