Fall 2026 Discount At The Lakehouse Retreat - Fun for All Ages

Enjoy the peaceful, yet entertaining life at the lake in a renovated home this fall on Crooked Lake. Upper Crooked Lake is a 735-acre lake located in Delton, Michigan. You can enjoy the ambiance of lake living including swimming, fishing, kayaking, and just relaxing.

This two-story lake front home has three bedrooms, a loft, two baths, a fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washer & dryer, central air conditioning, WI-FI, generator and several other modern amenities.

The main floor bedroom has a queen bed and one bathroom downstairs & upstairs the loft, double bedroom, king master and bathroom. There is a large deck with plenty of seating.

A dock is provided (up til mid Sept weather permitting) for you to utilize and an area to park your own trailer. We have 2 kayaks available for your use including lifejackets of all sizes.

The fishing at the lake is amazing and is filled with a variety of fish : Bluegill, Bass, Crappie, Pike, and Yellow Perch.

The view is absolutely beautiful from the open living room/deck overlooking the lake. Enjoy the scenery of the beautiful wildlife including geese, swans, cranes, and more.

We took our first family vacation as a family of 5 this year and it was an absolute dream. Being on the lake, the house is beautiful and well kept, the weather was beautiful and the air was so fresh. The beach was nice and not deep at all, so my kiddos could play safely! My kids said this house was “magical” and they wish we could stay forever! The owner was kind and responsive and so welcoming/accommodating! I highly recommend this VRBO property! It was So peaceful and perfect! We would love to come back next year!! Thank you for opening your home to us! We made memories here to last a lifetime!

The Lakehouse is a charming home for a fun family vacation. Kitchen is well supplied and had everything needed for making Christmas cookies. Plenty of space to hang out, with games and movies that kept us entertained. The owners could not have been more welcoming and friendly. Everyone enjoyed their stay. Thank you!

The place was just right for my family. We enjoyed the sunsets, the beach area, neighbors were nice, convenience to the local stores. The host was great, she informed us about local store and attractions. My family says best vacation ever ....

Wonderful getaway

We had a great relaxing weekend! The place met all of our needs, and it was wonderful to be close to the water. Lots of great hiking trails near by.

Great view of lake. Sunsets were exceptional. Fishing was great. Caught bluegill, northern pike, largemouth bass, and crappie. Very enjoyable stay. 5 stars.

Wonderful getaway

Great holiday stay!

Everything listed was accurate, hosts were very good at communicating and were very gracious. We’re originally from Delton and will keep this rental in mind for future stays. Definitely would recommend to others! Thanks for the amazing stay!

We loved our stay at The Lakehouse Retreat! Sherrie was a wonderful and responsive host and the home was spotless, spacious, and perfect for our group. The lake views, renting the pontoon boat, kayaking, and swimming made it extra special, and the location is ideal for relaxing. There is easy access to the lake. We enjoyed the shaded dining space on the deck and the firepit area near the water. The kitchen is well stocked. Truly fun for all ages—highly recommend!

Wonderful Lake House

Spent a wonderful week on Upper Crooked Lake at this lake house retreat. The close proximity to the lake was awesome. We opened up the front windows and listened to the waves.

Great stay

Our family of five thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay. The home was spacious, clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The view was great and my 6 year old daughter loved jumping off the dock. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us.

Beautiful sunsets

My family really enjoyed our stay! Sherrie was so attentive and helpful. The house was quiet and relaxing. Our favorite part was the views and being able to watch the beautiful sunsets.

The Lake House on Crooked Lake

Our stay at the Lake house was a good one. It accomadated the 7 of us quite well. We enjoyed the fishing off the dock. Caught several different species of fish. The dozen of swans were amazing to watch every day. The sunsets were very colorful. The area was very peaceful and quiet. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Family Vacation

Our family had a wonderful vacation! We really enjoyed spending time on the lake. The fish were biting and the sunsets were beautiful. The property was as described and stocked well. Sherrie was quick to respond to any questions we had before and during our stay.

Nice lake house...

The property is nice; cozy and inviting. The king suite could use a mattress update, and the showers are a bit cramped, but other than that the property is good. Great location, feet from the lake, great accommodations. Owner is very friendly, and worked with us on any requests.

Thank you so much for letting us know about your say. I’m so glad that your family enjoyed. We actually have had that mattress only three years and we even put a topper on it for the comfort of our guest last summer because it was super firm. We are so sorry that you did not sleep well. Our former Gus have indicated that they were comfortable with the king mattress as we had a former queen size bed in the master We are sorry that the showers are a bit cramped but the average adult seems to do OK. The upstairs bathroom is not for the taller folks but has the jetted tub. The downstairs shower was renovated three years ago and it’s a small bathroom so we can’t go much bigger, but again seems ample for folks even for taller individuals. Thank you for choosing our Lakehouse for your vacation destination. We hope to see you again and glad you enjoyed your visit to Michigan.

Mom’s 60th Birthday

This property was a great location for my mom’s 60th birthday. The owner was extremely helpful and responded to all of our questions quickly. The views of the lake were beautiful and the house was clean and comfortable.

Wonderful Fall Getaway

What a lovely and perfect place for a fall family trip! The kids had a blast fishing from the dock and kayaking in the lake. We took advantage of the boat available for rent and spent plenty of time cruising the lake in comfort! Sherrie was very sweet and helpful, and we appreciated her tips and tricks of the lake. We would definitely book with her again!
