Situated on 2.5 acres this serene location is just 5 minutes to Oak Harbor, 10 min to Coupeville. The rural location makes for a wonderful place to relax after a busy touring day. 1000 sq ft, fully stocked kitchen. Sit on the deck and watch the eagles soar. Mountain and pastoral views. A private area for your dog is available with some partial fencing. Come visit Whidbey! We have so much to offer - scuba diving, wine tasting, bicycling, kayaking, boating, hiking, shopping and so much more. There are stairs up to the guesthouse.

Relaxing Christmas get away

The property is located in a quiet rural area, it has ez access to all things Whidbey from NAS Whidbey Island to an excellent coffee spot called Honeymoon Bay Coffee Roasters. We would gladly stay here again.

Great location in Oak Harbor

We REALLY enjoyed our stay here. Our dog felt at home after 10 days of traveling. We were able to rake day trips and visit various family members but also we got in. An abundance of hiking with all the nearby parks. Hopefully we can return again.

Wonderful place

This is a beautiful, convenient, quiet place to stay on the island. I especially appreciated the full kitchen and the view of the horses. Very comfortable place to bring a dog as well.

Rustic Oasis

Peaceful and quiet environment with a great view of the landscape and friendly neighborhood. Pam’s hospitality is reflected in her guesthouse with the details of her horses and handmade soap. Appreciated state park pass use and all the information provided for seeing the best of the area. Definitely worth the stay.

Calm and Peaceful stay

This is a very calm and peaceful place to stay in Oak Harbor. Great location which was very quiet and view of a large farm behind the property, but still only minutes away from Oak Harbor and 20 minutes from Deception pass. We loved our stay and the bed is very comfortable.

Lovely country setting

Alison and our two dogs had a very relaxing stay. A lot of time spent lounging on the beautiful deck with the country scene before her. Serene and quiet. The interior was very well kept up and met all her expectations.

Week of R&R

The property was just as advertised. Beautiful relaxing view from large comfortable deck. Quiet country vibe but only minutes from Oak Harbor and Coupeville. Had everything we needed but Pam was quickly available if we had needed anything. A definite favorite!

Great place for humans and dogs!

This was a wonderful place for us to get away during the pandemic! Pam was wonderful and even had a filled dog water bowl ready in the kitchen. Bed was super comfy. Her handmade soap was so nice too. It was so easy staying there, it was like visiting family.

Wonderful spot with a super nice landlord

The setting is lovely. The apartment immaculate. A perfect couples getaway. Close to Oak Harbor but in a totally quiet serene setting. I definitely plan to stay there on all future visits. Could not have been more pleased.

Pastoral peace

A very unique property out in the countryside, but also no more than 10 minutes from town. The unit was plenty spacious and comfortable for two. The host is incredibly responsive, friendly and flexible. Would absolutely stay here again.

Restful stay on Whidbey Island

Pam's place was the perfect base to explore Whidbey Island. It is centrally located in Oak Harbor, and convenient to explore the nearby towns of Langley and Coupeville. The well stocked kitchen had lots of stuff to make meals if you wanted. Our skittish mini Schnauzer even felt at home. Very peaceful and quiet, with acres of greenspace, and you can even view Pam's horses outside the kitchen window. Well stocked library and some board games to keep you occupied during rainy evenings. Highly recommend!

Great getaway at a quiet retreat

We loved thia space. Roomy and comfortable. And Pam allowed the dogs with no extra charge. Although we didn't leave the pups when we went adventuring, the space was nicely separated from her space so it was nice to know we werent disturbing her while we were there. Nice views and Pam was so sweet. We'd definitely return again. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

A pastoral island stay

Peaceful, beautiful pastoral view with the Olympic Range in the distance. Birdsong, bunnies, nickering horses to serenade after a day of exploring the island. Shopping for essentials close by and a fully supplied kitchen to prepare meals with the food you've purchased. Expect a peaceful night's sleep.

Rural beauty

Pros: beautiful setting, very comfortable bed, very nicely furnished, kitchen nicely stocked with everything we needed. Cons: There was dog poop at the front door and shower walls were dirty. It was also a surprise to find there were 16 steps up to the apartment. If this was on the lodging description I didn’t see it. It was a bit of a problem since my husband just had knee surgery.
