Ron's property was very well furnished, comfortable, clean and spacious. The location is ideal for someone wanting to get away from it all. The night sky is spectacular there! Would definitely stay again if I'm in the area!

A great place to escape and relax. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. Easy access to many of the beautiful locations in the area.

The property was peaceful and beautiful. It included everything we needed for our stay - kitchen utensils, a barbecue, comfy beds. It was close to the campground where other family members stayed and the location made it easy to get to the activities we wanted to do, painted hilas, rock hunting, looking for wildflowers and wildlife. We will definitely stay here again.

Weekend Getaway

Had a great time, house was cute and clean. Owners made us feel right at home. Trails in the national forest were beautiful. Looking forward to another stay!

Cool retreat from heat

It had everything we needed, including a very comfortable bed. A great place to end a day of exploring the area especially in the summer heat, it was nice and cool to come back to.

Perfect accommodations. We recommend this location to anyone who loves the great outdoors. Full kitchen, with dishes and cookware. Washer & dryer in unit. BBQ available also.

Property was exactly as advertised. Beautiful home included absolutely everything we needed, plus some we hadn't thought of. We'll be back!

Wonderful Retreat

We had a wonderful time at the New Barn Dominiam. The place was very clean and very quiet. I would recommend this place to anyone. We are going to come back to this place in the summer. We saw wild turkeys running around the place.

Star gazing trip

We had a great visit to the property to view the Perseid meteor shower. We enjoyed the barndominium and walking in the forest behind the property. The location was a great jumping off point for further adventures, like the Two Pillars trail and Mitchell.

Horse creek ranch

Ron was very informative and helpful with places to hike and activities and events. He was also very available and friendly. I would highly recommend the stay at the ranch and we’ll be back!

Fun in the Ochocos

We had a wonderful, long weekend staying here to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary! The barndominium was cozy and had everything we needed! There was no tv, wifi, or cell service which allowed you to truly disconnect from the city and relax! Ron and Sally were friendly and attentive as well!! We hope to stay again soon!

Lush, cool, and relaxing. Adventure close by and in every direction. Perfect for unplugging from the concerns of daily life. If you want some time to refresh and renew…this is the place!

Loved everything about it. We can’t wait to go back. So enjoyed our visits with Ron. Next time we hope to listen to him sing and play his guitar. He made us feel like family.

Awesome-Again!

Visted here 2 years ago with grandkids and they have been begging to return. What a wonderful place--no TV, internet or phone---just a heavenly place away from it all. Ron is a wonderful host who will care for your needs and offer suggestions on the nearby places to visit. Great jumping off place for Painted Hills and the Fossil Beds. Will return again and make even more memories.
