The suite is now available for booking. It has a full size bath and shower, dining area, queen size bed to accommodate 2 persons. The convenient kitchenette includes a coffee pot, microwave, refrigerator, cooking surface and toaster. Located directly on Salmon Creek with stunning mountain views, a variety of wildlife including eagles, black bear, grizzly bear, river otter, moose, beaver can be spotted on the property. This superior location provides panoramic mountain, glacier and wildlife viewing directly from the spacious suite. Owned and operated by retired military officer and his wife.

What a wonderful place to enjoy Alaska! Everything was exceptional. The cabin, the location, the views, the communication from the host and a wonderfully comfortable bed were all top notch. Great place to come and unwind after a busy day of site seeing.

Beautiful handcrafted cabin with big windows to enjoy a large creek and wildlife!! Private, quiet, and roomy. We would love to stay here again!

Beautiful property and wonderful host

We loved this rental for its location and all the beauty that surrounded the property. Our host was so thoughtful and helpful with his suggestions of what to see and where to eat in the area. We loved everything about our stay.

Nice place

We really enjoyed staying here during our visit to Seward. It was very clean and comfortable and the location was great for visiting the area! We had great weather and really enjoyed eating on the deck and sitting outside in the evening and watching the eagles!

We had a great stay at Bear and Berry and Scott was great to communicate with. We appreciated his recommendations for dining options and places to visit. The creek that runs in front of the house was beautiful.

Bear and Berry Lodge was perfect for us! Just minutes from Seward but far enough out of town that you have privacy and it’s quiet. Bed and pillows were so nice and comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor space to sit out and watch for birds and wildlife. The view from bed was beautiful. We definitely recommend this little cabin!

We loved our stay! Scott was a fantastic host, the space was clean and had everything we needed. The views from the lodge are beautiful and we enjoyed watching the eagles and hearing the creek right outside. Thanks for a memorable stay!

Great Place to Stay in Seward

My husband and I stayed at the Bear & Berry Lodge as part of our first visit to Alaska. It was just as described and in a great location about a 10 minute drive from all of the activities and restaurants in Seward. The cabin was cozy, clean and inviting, and the owner was very helpful and always responsive. Great place to stay in Seward.

Beautiful location

Very nice and modern open concept cabin with lots of windows. Great views of forest and mountain peaks. Really enjoyed seeing the salmon in the river. Hosts were gracious and ensured we had a lovely stay.

Excellent Location and Beautiful Scenery!

Scott and Melanie were awesome to deal with and had just the right touch for this getaway retreat! Fruit, Snacks and Wine were a great little benefit upon check-in. Very friendly and quick to respond in any question I had prior to booking!!!

Amazing property with great hosts!

We recently spent a few days at Bear Creek, and the stay was phenomenal. The back deck overlooks the creek, and there were many eagles flying around to keep us entertained. Scott and Melanie were extremely friendly, helpful, and gracious hosts. I would highly recommend this property to anyone staying in the Seward area.
