Property was very clean upon arrival and well stocked with essentials like soaps and towels! Location is less than 10 minutes from beach and conveniently across the street from the grocery store. Will certainly return - the house is perfect and exactly as pictured!

Our first impression of the property was that the rooms were larger than expected and all smelled clean. While it was cleaner than many rentals, it still needed the extra wipe-down of doors/door handles when we arrived, and we also felt impelled to clean two of the upstairs window ac units’ vents because they had some grime built up. The house was in a great location, though the Main Street you are on can get loud on a summer night, which was not a problem for our family. The front patio is a nice spot to sit and enjoy the weather. We had no major issues interfering with our trip and overall this was a good spot to explore southern Maine.

Andrew is a top-notch host with a lovely property in a great location. The house was spotless upon arrival and everything was where we expected it. The home has ample room and lots of closet space. Appliances were straightforward and easy to use. Andrew was available to answer any questions we had within minutes. The water pressure was great and the showers were nice and hot which felt great after our days wandering around, out at the nearby water park , or our jaunts to the beach or palace playground which was minutes away on foot. At the end of our stay Andrew called to ask how everything was and we ended up having a lovely chat. We would love to come back next year and will be in touch once we have our schedule sorted out. Thank you again for a lovely stay!

Great location. Close to the beach, but far enough away for quiet nights. The house was very clean upon arrival. It was ready to communicate with the hosts, and they responded promptly.

Great place and location. Only piece to note is if you have a person with mobility difficulties, the entrances do not have a railing and the living room has a step down into the area. Other than this, it was an excellent place to stay. The owner, Andrew was very responsive. I would stay there with my family again!

Quiet oasis near the beach and beachy attractions.

The house was very comfortable for our family of four. Close to the beach, restaurants, and a golf course. The grocery store across the street was very convenient. The house was immaculate. Five Stars!!!

Wonderful choice

Property was in a great location next to a local supermarket and just a short walk to everywhere. Nice and quiet neighborhood as well. House was comfortable and had everything we needed. Our host was very accommodating and responsive. Would highly recommend this rental.

Ideal vacation house

The house was clean, comfortable, and spacious. There were three of us, so the three bedrooms, double sinks in the hall bathroom, and the half bath were perfect. Plenty of room for everyone. The location was great. Nice having a grocery store and restaurant across the street. We walked to Beach Bagels for coffee every morning. An easy walk there and to the shops and restaurants on Old Orchard Street. Also, convenient to get to highway 1 and points beyond. Enchi was very helpful and responsive; a dream to deal with. My friends and I agreed that the house was ideal!

This home was absolutely perfect for our family of 5. It is a short walk to the beach/pier/restaurants (1/2 mi), and there is beach gear on-site, including a wagon, umbrella, and chairs. The grocery store across the street was so convenient, as we cooked a few dinners in too. The home was very clean and had plenty of towels and blankets. I highly recommend this location for a family, as the laundry facilities, kid-friendly dishes, and kitchen amenities made it a home-away-from-home. It’s spacious and has most kitchen gadgets if you’re trying to save a bit and eat meals at home. There are plenty of activities to do in the area or closer to Portland, including a waterfall hike right down the road. The property is a duplex, but I will say I have 3 active, noisy boys and we didn’t have any complaints. In closing, the location of this rental is worth the money. It’s so close to the beach, and my kids enjoyed playing in the waves the most throughout our vacation in Maine! Mr. Chen is very prompt about answering any questions, and was an amazing host. Highly recommend to families or any ocean lovers :)

Our Old Orchard Beach, Maine Getaway

Everything was pretty great ... we had slippers upon entry, comfortable beds and with nice bedding, a clean home, a fully stocked kitchen of utensils, pots/pans, even birthday candles in the drawer, and a first aid kit, which was a first for me in my many rental experiences. There was plenty of hot water and great water pressure. We were literally across the street from the food store and a quaint breakfast/coffee shop. It was a short 1/2-mile stroll to the beach and pier and Pirate's Cove Mini-Golf venue. Of all the places that I looked at, this Vrbo price (aka value for money) couldn't be beat. We were just beyond the hustle and bustle and noise of the Pier area, so it was very quiet, and we enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the evenings. We give our Host, Andrew Chen 5 stars for the speed of his communications and helpfulness. We will happily stay here again if we find ourselves in the area and highly recommend it to anyone reading this review. Wendy :)

Beach Vacation

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at this home. From the moment I walked in and saw how spacious and clean the rental home was, I was beyond pleased. The location was perfect and in such close proximity to the beach and shops as well as to neighboring towns that we visited often throughout our stay. Enchi couldn’t have been a more helpful and gracious host between the amenities left for us in the home to immediately answering any questions I had through texts, he exhibited high standards in making his guests feel welcome. I would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting OOB!

Terrific!

Wonderful, NEW property with all of the amentities. Close (but not exactly walking distance) to the beach. Easy walk to town, restaurants and shops. Grocery store and terrific breakfast spot across the street. The owner was responsive (and funny)! Thanks for a great birthday vacation! (Did I mention the owner left balloons for me?).

Adult Family gathering

Great place to stay. Clean and spacious. Friendly and helpful home owner. We loved that it was close enough to town and the ocean that we could walk yet in a quite neighbor hood. It was easy to go into Portland for the day and we even made a few trips to the mountains for some day hikes.

Nice house in a convenient location for OOB. Pretty much exactly as described.

Good communication in advance with the owner. Property was as described when we arrived. Some nice touches like a bluetooth speaker in the Kitchen, a really nice TV and wifi set up, which is an absolute must for our family. Supremarket literally across the road, but no real noise in the property, other than the workers on site during the day who were building other properties. Not that this was a problem as we were out most days. We love OOB and the surrounding areas, so much to do. A minor gripe as a British visitor, no kettle in the Kitchen, but no biggy. Lots of crockery and cutlery, washer and dryer in basement. Overall, more than happy with the property and would happily recommend to others

HIGHLY recommended.

The 3 bedroom 2.5 bath home was perfect for our monthly stay in Southeastern Maine. The downstairs had extremely comfortable reclining chairs with a fantastic Samsung television / entertainment center in the den and a well equipped kitchen for meal preparation along with table and attached island sitting areas. The 3 bedrooms and 2 baths upstairs were more than adequate. AND there are air conditioners if needed. The owner was readily available and easy to get in touch with when needed. The home was located perfectly, close enough to the beach and amusement area to walk (1/2 mile) but far enough away for quietness. The location in Maine was great: a little over 2 hour train ride to Boston (train station within walking distance), a 15 minute commute to Portland and a 3.5 hour scenic drive to Bar Harbor (among many other things to do). You have to get lobsters and clams from the close by Lobster Barn and huge ice cream cones from Fielder’s Choice near the baseball field. Great location for walking and running. A golf course 1/2 mile from the house. HIGHLY recommended.

Great spot!

We had a great time staying here. Its location is perfect. Nice short walk to all the offerings of the downtown/pier area, and right across the street from grocery store and diner which was very convenient. The house itself is great-- very clean and well-maintained. Enchi and his wife show great care for their property. Enchi is also very easy to communicate with throughout entire process. He even went out of his way to refund $20 we had dropped in one of the bedrooms. We'll definitely consider staying again next time we plan trip to the OOB area.
