Farmhouse holidays in Umbria, the green heart of Italy, amongst art and nature

Unfortunately, this is not the first time that some guests have complained about a lack of privacy at our property, so we must be very clear on this matter! Ours is a public business, just like a hotel. I don't think anyone would reasonably complain if a hotel manager wandered through the lobby or restaurant to make sure everything was in order and working properly. Why does this happen here? I think a guest should be happy that the owner takes care of making sure everything is in order and okay! We're a farm holidays (an "agriturismo"), and we try as much as possible (and sometimes even more) to avoid noisy work in the early morning hours (when perhaps it would be better for the crops) or in the early afternoon when guests are resting, but we still have to do our job. Finally, regarding garden work, our guests have enjoyed a garden in bloom with well-kept plants. If we had left it to itself for a week, with this summer's heat (and increasingly looming due to climate change), subsequent guests would have found everything dry and burned. We do garden maintenance early in the morning so that when guests arrive, they'll find everything done. This is especially true because, perhaps the reviewer lives in the city and isn't an expert in gardening, watering should be done during the coolest hours to avoid damaging the plants. First of all I would like to thank all the guests who appreciate my place; about the hedges surrounding the pool is a great security for children besides,. the low in Italy impose that the pools must be in a closed area therefore we prefered to se a green hedge rather than a wire netting. Nadia.
