The lodge is spacious and furnished to a high standard.

The lodge is spacious and furnished to a high standard. The beds are super comfortable and there is plenty of storage in every room. The dish washer, washer/dryer and full size fridge/freezer are great. The lodge is very warm and welcoming.

Lovely cabin which has been decorated well. It has a lovely vibe and a good size kitchen and front room. I would say it lacked storage and needed more drawers and hangers.

We had an amazing stay at The Barns.

We had an amazing stay at The Barns. The lodge was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. I especially liked how we were provided with robes and slippers. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We had a small leak in our lodge ceiling and the member of staff responded quickly and even offered us an extended check-out time and gave us extra robes. We will definitely be staying there again!

The house is wonderful.

The house is wonderful. My only reservation is Im not sure if it can be wheelchair accessible. The steps into the house are pretty high.

We have stayed in a number of lodges in the UK as a family of 2 adults and 3 children and this was the best by far. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful yet you are only a 5-10 minute walk from the town. The facilities in the lodge are everything you need and they are cleaned to such a high standard. The travel cot and highchair are a great additional meaning we didn't have to bring our own. Overall 10/10 and would recommend to anybody.

Great, really well equipped. Would have liked a broom or vacuum cleaner as floor felt really sandy after a day. There was a dustpan & brush so managed fine.

Absolutely perfect.

Absolutely perfect. We stayed over Christmas week, upon arrival we were treated with a lovely welcome hamper and a tree set up. Angela from guest services came round to ask personally if there was anything we needed and the hot tub was checked everyday even Christmas Day. The accommodation was spotless with a very modern layout/design and plenty of space. The information provided in the welcome pack was fantastic and we took the walk into town, to see The Mere and did the sculpture trail. Overall I can't fault anything. The perfect holiday, the perfect Christmas! Thank you.

Steps up to the lodge were steep with no handrail and needed an extra step between the last one and the door. Staff were all excellent, kept checking we were ok and couldn't do enough to make sure we were happy.

Wow, what can I say, what a stunning holiday experience which began as soon as we entered the drive.

Wow, what can I say, what a stunning holiday experience which began as soon as we entered the drive. The whole area of this young site is surrounded by well thoughtout sympathetic planting of shrubs and trees that will eventually mature into a woodland oasis, even the reception and domestic building are visually in keeping with the lodges. We stayed in a 3 bedroom lodge, they look stunning, beautiful design deco with all mod cons provided; beds were so comfortable, good sized bathrooms with complimentary L'occitane hair products, plenty of towels, spa robes, slippers and Jacuzzi towels were also provided. I personally loved spending time sitting on the balcony in the egg swing and looking over the pond watching the wildlife or relaxing in the Jacuzzi under the stars. Such a blissful and total escape experience, lovely just lovely ❤️
