So comfortable with high quality furnishings, linen, decor and equipment. Hot tub was a bonus after a day hillwalking and is very easy to manage. Nice log burner with plenty of wood and kindling etc. We stayed a week and there is so much to do in this area. The cottage makes for a great luxurious stay.

Snowdrop cottage was wonderful.We loved the decor and all the little finishing touches which have been clearly well thought through.Place was immaculately clean and very well stocked with all you need.The jacuzzi was a really treat and nice and private.Lovely pub and deli just one minutes walk from the front door.We will go again and also recommend it to friends and family.Many thanks.

We had the most perfect stay at snow drop cottage. The accommodation is beautiful and caters to the most perfect staycation. The hosts have thought of absolutely everything from the decor, the area guide to even the small things from fresh milk and tea/coffee on arrival, some local sweet treats provided and also added toiletries. The accommodation is clean throughout and our only complaint is we didn't stay for longer. The hottub is a beautiful touch to finish your days off after exploring and so private and relaxing. We will definitely be coming back.

Great little cottage with a hot tub, had everything we needed and the host was always very quick to respond to queries. Fab location for walking from the doorstep, a pub and bistro just slightly up the road, castle howard and York. Would definitely stay again!

Such a beautiful cottage in a peaceful setting. Second time here for a girly weekend, pub just across the road serving delicious food and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. Hot tub is a huge bonus and we loved relaxing in there. Kitchen fully equipped, everywhere spotlessly clean, access to Netflix, cosy log burner, comfy beds and great shower. It was the perfect weekend with the girls.

Fantastic cottage in great location

Great spot, good pub across the road and lovely walks. Liked all the little touches in the house and hot tub was amazing on cold winter evening. Will defiantly be back next year for a longer stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Snowdrop cottage.Such a lovely little village well situated for walks, York, Whitby and lots of historical sites.The cottage is absolutely beautiful, very cosy and furnished/decorated to a very high standard. The hosts have thought of everything you could possibly need, kitchen is very well equipped and the whole place is a home from home. Loved the log burner and the hot tub was blissful, a lovely way to wind down and relax after a day bimbling around! The hosts provide a very comprehensive guide which was incredibly useful, and the welcome cakes from the local deli were delicious and very welcome!Thank you for sharing your wonderful cottage

Stunning cottage in a lovely village setting and just a stones throw from the local pub and deli (lovely breakfast)The property was well equipped and tastefully decorated throughout with 10/10 for cleanliness, the host had thought of everything We didn't get to use the hot tub (maybe next time)

Stunning cottage in a lovely village. Immaculately clean and there was absolutely everything you need for your stay. The host has thought of everything, from the informative welcome book to the array of kitchen utensils and cleaning products. The beds were so comfy and the bed linen sumptuous. A truly fabulous little gem!! In a beautiful friendly little village with a pub and great deli. Communication with host was great. Check in process was easy. The cottage is immaculate! Credit to the cleaners. High quality furnishings and comfy beds. Everything you could possibly need. Very well catered for here. Loved the hot tub which was very private and relaxing. I would 100% recommend this property. Just do it! Lovely touch leaving us milk and delicious cakes to welcome us. Thanks so much for a fantastic stay

Very relaxing stay here with my mum. Very well equipped and comfortable. A great friendly pub serving lovely food opposite and a cafe / shop next door. Unfortunately, I didn’t get time to use the jaccuzi. Would certainly recommend

Stunning cottage, very tastefully decorated and very well equipped. The host has thought of everything. We stayed for 4 nights whilst our daughter was getting married at the nearby White Sykes Fields and we were not disappointed this little gem of a cottage was the perfect place for a relax before and after the wedding. Romantic Getaway

Lovely property and very well equipped. Tea coffee milk and sugar provided along with some lovely cakes/flapjacks/brownies which were very welcome after a long drive. Pub over the road was happy to serve our evening meal despite us arriving after 8pm. The stairs in the property are steep and the bathroom is downstairs so it may not be suitable for those with mobility issues or anyone who is clumsy. The hot tub was a welcome end to each day after dinner. The setting is perfect and a great accompaniment to a nice cool bottle of fizz! Would return in a heartbeat.
