Beautiful house by the river. Near Sundre, North Of Calgary.

Our resort includes a beautiful three bedroom vacation house and land that overlooks the James River. It is surrounded by trees in the Canadian wilderness. Enjoy a relaxing time in peace and quiet. Great for families. Escape the busy life while still in comfort.

Bookings are based on double occupancy with a maximum of 6 people. $40/person/night for extra guests. Pets are welcome with $65/pet/stay. Please message if you have more than one pet as app will only charge for one. Vrbo commissions and taxes apply ontop of prices.

Free WIFI

The main house has all modern amenities with three bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. The whole house is booked for each reservation and not shared with other guests.

Guests have their own outdoor firepit. Firewood is available for purchase at booking or after check in.

The resort includes seasonally maintained paths to the river as well as other paths.

Stark Ranch Canada Resort is close to James River General Store, a convenience store (5 minute drive) as well as all services in the town of Sundre (15 minute drive) including a grocery store and the Sundre Golf Club. Burnstick lake is very popular and about 20 minutes away. See wild horses on the way to Ya-Ha-Tinda and Ram Falls !

Check with your carrier for cell reception. Television not available. Please, no early check-ins. No smoking inside or outside. The wood stove is not available for use at this time.

We had an amazing stay at this Cabin! We stayed here with 6 of us from Calgary and Edmonton. It’s not too far from either city while still have a relaxing wilderness vibe. The surrounding wooded areas and the river being so close made for some great outdoor hangouts. I highly recommend this spot.

Beautiful secluded spot

We had a great springtime stay for a family golf trip. It's a short drive away from some top quality courses in Sudre. The house is well appointed, and in a beautiful secluded setting along James River. Thanks for the stay!

Great getaway in the country

A gorgeous property with the river, the walking paths, and the backyard house deck! The weather was beautiful and it was such a peaceful home away from home, while we attended a wedding in the area! The kitchen was well stocked for cooking our meals and the 3 queen beds were very comfortable for everyone! Thanks for everything
