Beautiful little cottage in a quiet countryside location (a few very narrow roads to get there!). Very clean and well-equipped.

Glebe Cottage was ideal as a central base for visiting attractions in all directions - Wells, Glasto

Glebe Cottage was ideal as a central base for visiting attractions in all directions - Wells, Glastonbury, Lyme Regis, Exmoor, etc. Charming wee secluded cottage - just the right size. Really comfy beds and good hot shower. Well equipped kitchen and cosy living room. The hosts were lovely and helpful.

Nice and clean house in a very quiet neighborhood. Private parking and garden that we could use. Friendly owners who live nearby. Near M5 so you can quickly drive to other locations. Price for a week in July was quite high.

A good cottage

Well equipped and comfortable in a quiet location, when you get used to the narrow roads. Kitchen fire detector may have a problem with the back-up battery - was 'chirping' when we arrived but stopped.

English Country Hideaway

Glebe Cottage provided me with the perfect combination of solitude and convenience. It is a short drive to Wellington with its attractive streets and shops, but it is also nice and quiet, even feels a bit remote in a good way. The cottage itself is a piece of Nynehead history the hosts offer good resources on local hikes and landmarks. I used Glebe Cottage as a homey place from which to embark on long day trips, then to gladly return at day's end. It is fully appointed with appliances, kitchen tools, and comfortable furniture, so it feels like home.

Without a doubt I would stay here again!

The hosts were superb, the house was stunning. And I just fell in love with the beauty of the whole area. A small issue occurred but was fixed within 2 hours, and the communication was easy and effective. I truly loved the simple beauty of this house and surroundings. There were tennis racks and balls for us to use. And I’m so grateful for the hosts. Me and my girls say a massive thank you! Also we left some ice lollies in the freezer (sorry). Thank you both again!

Gorgeous location but a bit disappointing

Lovely kitchen. Bedrooms spacious and styled nicely. Great location. Enjoyed the tennis court . Good shower. Nice private garden. Speedy email help for couple of small issues . Friendly, kind owners. Living room really needs an overhaul. Mismatched furniture and very uncomfortable dining chairs gives it an unloved feel. Cobwebs in bathroom and kitchen. Hedges around the cottage very overgrown. Small things like tiny, dented bin in the kitchen and metal teapot which you would find in a greasy spoon are not what you would expect.
