Nice villa with caring host

We spent a family vacation in the villa and enjoyed our time very much. The hostess was very friendly and very helpful and had lots of good tips for excursions and other places to visit. The location is very quiet and the surrounding towns can be easily reached by car. The villa is clean and the garden is ideal for children. I can totally recommend a vacation there!

Perfect for a big family

Elisabetta is a great host and gave us lots of information. She provided excellent services and made our stay very pleasant. We loved the facilities of the property and the space. Perfect vacation for a family reunion with children. I definitely recommend this house.

Memorable Cycling Trip

Fantastic property and host, Elizabetta who helped us find cycle hire and transport from the airport which were very reasonably priced. She also introduced us to Guido who prepared our breakfasts and evening meals, served at the house. The quality of the food was outstanding, we asked him to cook traditional food from the region and not only was it really tasty, it was not expensive. The house itself is great, in a quiet village only 15 mins from Bellagio. Cycling in the area is tough - very hilly but roads are quiet. We had a great few days and we would recommend this property and Elisabetta is so helpful and welcoming!

Lovely home in a sweet village

Our extended family (three generations) stayed for a week at the holiday house. We had a wonderful stay. It is a historic home so there are lots of quirks to remember, but all of them made sense. The kitchen and dining area have everything that you need to make meals for the entire family. The hostess Betty is delightful-- very helpful and has an entire binder of recommendations for anything you'd like to do. Her recommendations are excellent as she's hosted many families. Our kids were constantly entertained by the toys in the yard, the pool, and the adjacent playgrounds, which are so close to the property, they're essentially like part of the yard. It takes about 10-15 minutes to drive into Bellagio. The town of Barni itself is quite small and charming, not fancy but very sweet.

Perfect for Family and small children.

We rented the beautiful villa in Barni for a gathering of our extended family for 9 days. 11 adults and 6 children, aged between 2 and 9. The house was perfect for us: bedrooms & bathrooms strategically located and sized. Plenty of toys, small soccer field and trampoline outside: everything in great condition and safe to use. Bathrooms and Kitchen are modern, well equipped and have been recently updated. The updated public playground is 20m from the house and can be reached via a small foot path. Elisabetta has been the perfect host. "The binder" is clearly carefully curated, up to date and has allowed us to experience and enjoy the surroundings meaningfully. As an active family, there is plenty to do: a road cycling mecca, but also trail running, hiking and mtb are fantastic. I wholeheartedly recommend both host and venue, and we are considering to return to Barni in the future. My best memories: spending long mornings on the large SE facing balcony, enjoying the spring sun, coffee and catching up with my siblings and parents.

Très belle villa sur les hauteurs du Lac de Côme ce qui permet de gagner quelques degrés quand il fait très chaud comme celà a été le cas.La maison est spacieuse, bien équipée en lits, salles de bain, frigos, vaisselle et accessoires ménagers.Petite piscine utile pour se rafraichir et qui fait la joie des enfants.Points d'amélioration: éclairage extérieur aussi bien sur la terrasse que dans le jardin. La cuisine est un peu petite, mais il n'y a pas grand chose à faire...Betty est une hôtesse charmante et aux petits soins. Il y a d'ailleurs tout un dossier dans la maison qui permet de sélectionner tout ce qu'il y a à voir et visiter dans la région.En bref de belles vacances dans une villa de charme

We zijn warm ontvangen door Elisabetta in haar prachtige villa. Er is voor 21 personen meer dan voldoende ruimte, je hoeft elkaar niet voor de voeten te lopen. Ruime slaapkamers allen voorzien van zonwering. De tuin is ruim en voorzien van vele faciliteiten voor onze jeugd (5-17 jaar) en mogelijkheden genoeg om te kunnen relaxen in de Italiaanse zon. De keuken is wat aan de krappe kant. De wasmachine op een van de badkamers was een minpuntje, daar is vast ergens anders ruimte voor. De omgeving is erg rustig en wat afgelegen van enige levendigheid. Dat vonden wij geen probleem, daardoor trek je er eerder op uit. Elisabetta heeft enorm veel tips verzameld (dagtripjes, verhuur, restaurants etc.) en ons goed geholpen met reserveringen. Het contact met haar was voor en tijdens ons verblijf altijd goed en snel. Wij hebben ons thuis gevoeld!

Ideales Haus für Familientreffen mit engagierter Gastgeberin

Das Haus liegt in einem kleinen ruhigen und wenig touristischen Dorf, das sehr gute Bedingungen für Ausflüge in alle Richtungen des Comer Sees bietet. Es ist ideal für Familien- oder Freundesgruppen, die gerne aktiv sind. Die Schlafzimmer sind einfach, aber zweckmäßig und sauber. Das Haus ist sehr kinderfreundlich. Unsere Gastgeberin Elisabetta war bereits im Vorfeld und während des Urlaubs sehr engagiert, immer gut erreichbar und gab uns viele wertvolle Tipps und Hilfestellungen.

60th birthday celebration

The booking process was straightforward. I spent a week with my husband, our children and grandchildren. Betty our host was charming and helpful when we arrived later than expected. The house was ready for the family with toys and activities for the children. Betty gave us lots of information about the best places to go. I would definitely recommend the gelato place and Guido who delivers food is punctual and very reasonably priced and the food is delicious. The second week was with friends so quite a different sort of holiday. We enjoyed trips out to Varenna, Bellaggio and even went to Lugano in Switzerland on a day trip. The village has a lovely bakery and grocery shop where you can get everything you need. The family run bar was also frequented by my sons who loved it. I loved the villa and will definitely return I can’t fault Betty and Roberto who were both charming helpful and kind.

très très bien

accueil chaleureux et sympathique, bienveillant sans ingérence. Maison parfaite, très pratique et agréable. Chacun y a son espace, même en temps de pluie. Seule la cuisine est un peu trop petite, diificile d'y cuisiner pour un groupe de plus de 10 personnes. Il faudrait surtout une plaque de cuisson plus grande. Toutes les terrasses, salons de jardin, transats sont super agréables, le grand salon intérieur aussi. Optimale pour 12 à 15 personnes.
