What an incredible stay!

Truely an amazing stay! We went for a 24th birthday and couldn’t have gotten better if they tried! Extremely sceanic area amazing for a quite weekend

Wonderful family weekend

Our family of 6 adults had a wonderful long weekend away (3 nights) at Pines Pitch. Location is perfect and our beds were super comfortable. We loved the hot tub which worked very well. The only thing is the kitchen is very under stocked with utensils, mugs and crockery. We had no idea how to use the Aga so were very grateful for the hob and oven in the kitchen. The lounge/sitting area is far away from the main living area of the house which felt isolated. This is just a layout issue. On the whole we had a lovely weekend.

A wonderful week

We had the best week at Pines Pitch, the lodge was lovely and clean when we arrived and we even had milk left for us , tea, coffee, sugar, some treats as well which was an added bonus that the kids all enjoyed! The grounds are beautiful, the kids loved exploring the woods and playing in the playground, the hot tub was perfect for all of us to relax in! It was our first time here and we can’t wait to come back!

A perfect peaceful stay

We had a wonderful stay at Pines Pitch, a beautiful cabin style home in a secluded location. The home had everything you need including a lovely hot tub and garden. The area is stunning & we where sad to come home. If you want a peaceful holiday in a beautiful area. I highly recommend this.

A nice little hideway

It was a nice little hideway for a few friends to get away have a relxaing weekend and get together and celebrate birthdays and catch ups. Peaceful and Tranquil only the bird song, sheep bleeting and cow mooing to be heard.

Peace and Quiet

If you’re after peace and quiet, this is the place to do it. We needed a break from our very busy lives to re charge our batteries and we certainly did,From the moment we arrived to the time we had to leave. The beds were VERY comfortable, and had the best week’s sleep in a long time. It’s a shame we had to leave, we will be returning in the future.

PINES PITCH

Generally a nice property. But is now needing a little TLC. E.G. Doors and windows sticking. A touch up of paint on some of the bathroom paint work. The people in charge of the property were very kind & communicative. We enjoyed the hot tub

Quiet break off the beaten track

Myself and my husband stayed for 4 nights with our dog to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary. The property is impressive with lots of space and land, our dog really enjoyed the little woodlands behind the cabin. While the location is lovely and picturesque, surrounded by greenery and farm animals, it is a bit of a drive from the nearest town (around 20-25 minutes). We didn't mind this though as the drive was lovely and scenic with no traffic (apart from sheep in the road!). We had an issue with the hot tub on the first night as it hadn't been cleaned. Within an hour of texting the owners someone came out to clean it but we weren't able to use it until the next day. It wasn't a particular warm hot tub either, I noticed a side panel was hanging open so it wasn't being insulated properly so perhaps that was the issue? On our last night the hot tub was too cold to use which was disappointing. Perhaps an upgrade is needed. The cabin itself was very spacious for the 3 of us and was very clean, despite the outside looking a bit worn. It could do with a lick of paint and a couple of the paving slabs on the steps had come loose which could cause an accident if not careful. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet and slow break away.
