We are exactly where you want to be far enough to enjoy the amazing views of the hill Country but close enough to Fredericksburg to enjoy the town. We are located on a 45-acre property. We offer a cute barn style cottage featuring countryside views from the porch, a kitchenette, a dining area, living area, bedroom, a full bathroom and upstairs loft with a half bath, and we also offer a hot tub for you to enjoy. Each room in the cottage is decorated beautifully with fine art and furnishings. Fredericksburg has great restaurants, shopping and winery tours.

Great getaway for the family

The kids thoroughly enjoyed the stay! They were very appreciative of the amenities and the closeness to Fredericksburg while still being away from some of the crowds. Also, it was the perfect location for visiting enchanted rock and unwinding after some hiking.

Enchanted Rock

We were on the go the whole time for our short visit. The cottage gave us a relaxing home base. The hot tub was wonderful!

Great Location and Peaceful

The location was far enough out for the peace of the area but close enough to enjoy Fredeickburg. The home was clean and had all the things we needed for our family.

Quiet getaway

Property was very clean. Managers answered questions quickly. This property had everything we could have possibly needed and more. Short drive from Main Street. Well worth the drive for a quiet place to wined down the evenings.

Peaceful, pretty, private and perfect!

This property was so relaxing and charming. We had everything we needed, and Maria answered our questions promptly and politely. The hot tub was awesome and the location was great - quiet and cozy but not far from town at ll. Cannot wait to come back!!! Thank you for a lovely birthday stay :)

Bachelorette Weekend

We had an awesome stay for us girls for the weekend! The property was gorgeous and it was everything as described. We loved some time in the hot tub. Not far from town, only 8 mins to Main st! Very convenient to everything we needed! Fredericksburg is beautiful! Would definitely stay again!

Slice of heaven

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was perfect, the check-in was easy, the view was spectacular. The kids loved the hot tub and the s’mores kit. We had everything you could need, towels, extra blankets, internet was strong and the profiles on the smart tv were full and had endless options. After our stay we are seriously considering buying a cottage in the area. We highly recommend staying here. If we can’t find our own place we will be repeat customers.

Getaway

The place was cozy and the scenery was great. We slept comfortably. The only inconvenience we had was that we had to go outside to get upstairs to the other room. There were cobwebs in the upstairs restroom and the trash was full underneath the sink in the kitchen. But other than that we enjoyed our time there!

Country setting

The house was clean. There were plenty of beds. The only downside with this house it that you have to go outside and climb the stairs to access the upstairs bedroom. It was just inconvenient and a bit dangerous when trying to go to bed at night.

Lovely spot

The farmhouse was perfect for our needs. They provided some basic but well-selected amenities, like snacks and s’mores supplies. The new living room, with a sleeper sofa, and of course the hot tub were well appreciated. We loved having this cozy home to come back to after a hot day shopping in Fredericksburg. It’s only a couple miles away from the city - we were happy to be out of the town and a little isolated , so we didn’t have to worry quite as much about the noise level in the evenings.

Good Location, Slow Host Response

Liked the quiet location. Our host's response was slow on requests or not at all on some. Few K-pods, no ground coffee, & water dispenser only lasted 1 day. Bath amenities were not as pictured. Fans had clumps of dust. Previous guest's trash filled outside trash container.

Enjoyed our stay

In arriving at the property, I was pleasantly surprised. It was located outside Fredericksburg about 10 minutes in a quiet area. But the first thing I noticed is that there was no covered parking as was stated in the description of the place. The covered parking was turned into a living room, so this needs to be updated. Once we did arrive, a restroom stop was needed and there was no toilet paper, so stocking up on necessities is very important. Also, an empty Kleenex holder next to the bed. The upstairs loft area was very dusty and that’s where my daughter and I spent most of our time. The 2 beds upstairs were very comfortable and inviting. We didn’t really spend much time there as we were very busy checking out Fredericksburg and doing some horseback riding. All in all, it was a nice place to stay other than what was mentioned, but would I stay there again? Probably not.

Overall a pretty good stay! Location was great. For 4 people we had no complaints and fit us comfortably. A few minor things we noticed (good/concerns):- shower leaks pretty bad and so we had to use towels to soak the water. When doing so we noticed some mold and what looked like some mushrooms growing in the corner of the bathroom. - downstairs bedroom is right below the upstairs half bath and the paint was peeling pretty noticeably on the ceiling so we were a bit concerned about a possible water leak- there was the sweetest orange kitty outside that was very friendly, honestly thought he was part of the stay (we enjoyed him) and the only picture I took during the stay lol. - the gate was never closed so we didn’t need the gate code- was a little hard to find in the dark so a higher beam outside light would have been helpful. -loved the snacks and water, truly a nice welcome, also AC worked wonderfully we were all cold and they had nice clean fuzzy blankets. - the living room was a great plus, we sat and played games in the evenings, nice huge open area bonus points for it!!

Awesome place. So many small details like coffee, creamer etc. Even make up remover pads. Juat to let the owners know there is an orange striped cat very friendly that did get into the house upon arriving for a minute or so. Not sure whos cat but if you happen to have guest that are allergic to cats my be an issue. Dont think it belongs to the owner but thought i would mention. We named the cat labubu :-) highly recommend this beautiful serene property. Would book again!!!
