We did leave a small gesture of wine and chocolates to express our regret for the inconvenience, but we understand this doesn’t make up for the disruption whilst the cleaner needed to finish whilst you were present. Had we been aware of the remaining rubbish, we would have arranged for the cleaner to return immediately to rectify this for you. We were unaware of your disappointment at the time and would have very much appreciated the opportunity to make things right during your stay. We know this does not excuse the situation in anyway.
