Gran chalet para alquiler para vacaciones, máxima ocupación 30 personas, alquiler de la casa completa 9 dormitorios con 20 camas individuales más 5 dobles.
5 cuartos de baño de los cuales 3 son múltiples y en total hay 10 wc, 10 lavabos, 10 duchas.
En cada dormitorio hay climatización frio/calor.
Cocina grande y completamente equipada para grupos de 30.
Gran comedor con mesas y sillas como puede ver en las fotos.
Gran sala de estar en el sótano llena de sofás y sillones.
Barbacoa techada de 40 m2 con congeladores, nevera, fregadero doble, armario con calderos, paellas y grandes bandejas para servir, 5 mesas y bancos grandes de madera.
Porche con sofás chillout, 2 mesas redondas, otra grande rectangular y sillas. Mesa de pingpong.
Zona de arboles con 4 mesas de picnic y otras mesas con taburetes de árbol.

Friends get together

Excellent property - good location with walking distance to most amenities (supermarket, bars, cafes and restaurants) Especially loved the outside areas which are great - pool is excellent as is the bbq area and volleyball!

Decent stay

Nice pool and outdoor area. Bedrooms and bathrooms ok. Living room and kitchen a bit out of date. Bad smell on terrace. Overall a decent stay but propably more suited for younger and larger groups.

Amazing Villa for a group of friends

We had a fantastic time at Villa La Gran Duqesa. The house was AMAZING! Very clean, nice and spacious with a magnificent pool. Maria was more than helpful, always responding fast to any queries with a friendly attitude. Would highly recommend.

We have been with 22 bmx Friends in your house. We had a great time . There was enough place for everyone, nice & praktical kitchen, big rooms. The garden & Pool were amazing it's just like on the website. Shops, bars, beach, ... Everything is nearby. Everything was very clean Only there were less towels for each bathroom. We recommend your house to every big group of persons.

Great Stay

The house is comfortable and have everything it needs. The pool aera and the garden is a must see too. I advise renting this house for a quiet and nice time !

Beautiful villa

Visited this villa last summer and it exceeded our expectations! Beautiful home. Brilliant accommodation with a great atmosphere. Perfect location with shops and the beach only a tram ride away. Would highly recommend.

Estupendo lugar para taller residencial de teatro

Un grupo de 23 jóvenes y 6 profesores pasamos una semana en La Gran Duquesa durante un taller residencial de teatro musical. El entorno y la propia casa, ideales e inspiradores, nos ayudaron a crear un gran espectáculo teatral, altamente valorado por propios y extraños. Gracias, María.

Una boda a medida

Pasamos cuatro días inolvidables celebrando nuestro boda. La casa fué perfecta para los caterings ya que dispone de una amplia cocina y un amplio terreno alrededor de la piscina que hace posible una experiencia preciosa. La zona de la barbacoa nos dejó en el recuerdo una noche muy especial. La casa estaba muy limpia y bien organizada. Sin duda volveríamos a celebrar nuestro enlace allí.

Nice big villa for a big group

The villa is perfect for a big group. It offers everything you need for nice holiday, you have a lot of space inside the house and even more in the outside area. Moreover, the villa offers you a lot of privacy and with a BBQ in the garden you can have a joyful evenings with your group. The supermarket is about a 10 minutes walk away. Furthermore by taking the tram it takes only a few minutes to get to beach. The only problem we had was that a lot of taxi drivers did not know exactly how to get there. So to put it all in a nutshell, it is really a wonderful house for spending pleasant holidays.

A dream holiday Villa

Fantastic place to spend your holiday, the Villa is really big, has loads of seating space and activities such as volleyball/badminton net, table tennis, games, huge pool, lovely garden and loads of outside space to relax and you can cook loads of food on the barbecue because it's huge. Close to the tram station and the beach but still in a perfect relaxed setting with lots of nature on the property. We all loved our stay and can't wait to go again.

Amazing!

We had a group of 30 friends and the villa was perfect for our stay! It's very clean and spacious with everything you need, including a huge outdoor cooking area that made it possible for us to eat as a whole group every night. We especially loved the outdoor area with a beautiful pool and a volley ball court that provided hours of entertainment! Although the villa is not in the city, there is a tram stop a couple of minutes away that you can take to get into the city or to large supermarkets where we bought all our food so you definitely don't need a car. Maria is lovely, as are her translators, and they were great with showing us round the villa and explaining how everything works. They also are not trying to con you into keeping your deposit, we were able to get our full deposit back despite being a group of young students. We absolutely loved our stay - it was even better than we hoped and we would love to return so thank you so much Maria!

Great house with a well-tended garden

Had a great stay in this beautiful and clean house. The owners obviously look good after the garden and the pool. The villa is perfectly situated: 20 minutes walk to playa de San Juan (5 min by tram), 15 minutes (tram) to Alicant. A supermarket is also nearby. The contact to the owners was very uncomplicated and kind! Notice: You must pay 60% of the rental in cash, which was the only not really satisfying point.

Fantastic trip with all my good friends!!

The villa is superb, we had a fab time with 27 friends for 4 days. BBQ area is great, pool is great, the Jacuzzi only cold water so we didn't use it - guess that's for the real hot Spanish summer. The landlady was very friendly, pays a lot of attention to the household inventory which is good, just an intense process as this is a huge house. There's only one towel per person, and some were missing, but the landlady's helper gave them to us upon request. Paying cash seemed a bit weird but worked ok, and I got the full deposit back in cash too. My friends and I are decent people, we didn't do crazy things or leave lots of waste around, so I didn't feel that the cleaning would've costed 200 euros, but can understand that it's a fix fee. Note that the directions were really difficult, taxi drivers from the airport do not know the area of the villa, and my friends arrived one by one, so I was busy for 1,5 days just to talk to the taxi drivers explaining the address. I think this could be easily improved by adding a clear drawing to the welcome email, and then people can print it out and show the taxi driver, also as many do not speak Spanish. Overall, I had the best 30th birthday of my life and would always come back :-)

Dear Maja W. thank you very much for your kind comments about me and my summer cottage . I'm so glad you engrossed in your stay and have been happy . We always try to improve and so I will listen and from now on when a group of tenants confirming the rent, I will send you a map clearly indicating the route from the airport to the villa " The Grand Duchess " to not have problems with the drivers . Anyway if the driver gets on Google the name of the town, immediately the location of Google Places will appear. I really appreciate their good behavior at home and are a group of tenants recommend other owners are respectful, friendly , clean and polite. Thanks and hope you at home when you want.

La villa LGD nos ofreció la posibilidad de pasar un fin de semana a mi familia, amigos y a mi misma, en un entorno maravilloso y confortable. Cerca de la playa y la zona de ocio del Alicante Golf, es una apuesta segura para pasar unos días inolvidables. Recomendable 100%

One week of relaxation

We rented the house for a week for our graduating class (23 people). It was just perfect! The house is next to a tram station which goes to alicante city (just about 15min) or to the beach (just 5min). So everyone was free to do what he wants during the day. The house has a wonderful, neat garden and the pool is awesome. So some of us stayed the whole day there and played volleyball, went in the pool or read a book. We cooked every dinner there in the well equipped kitchen and ate outside next to the grill place. The owner were also very friendly and sympatic. And responded very quick on emails. The only thing that you need to be aware is that you're not to loud during the night. But for us that was no problem, we just went inside the house and continued in the big living room. I would highly recommend the house to every one! I think we'll come back one day :)

Hemos alquilado la casa para una boda intima, y todo fue muy bien. Todos los invitados eran contentos, aprovechando de la piscina ya en mayo. La proprietaria muy profesional y muy simpatica.

Fantastic, beautiful

We were with a group of 22 girls in the villa this may. The villa is big and very beautiful. The swimming pool and the garden are also amazing. We didn't even leave the villa during our stay. Everthing we needed was present in the villa. The store was also very nearby. We would advice everyone who's travels with a large group and is looking for a nice quite place to stay, to go here.
