This second floor one bedroom apartment is tucked away in a quiet, sought after gated development in the heart of the bustling town of Penzance. The location is a perfect base to explore the hidden treasures of the town and surrounding areas as it’s just minutes away from transport links to the surrounding areas. With the big advantage of a private parking space outside its easy to travel by car to explore the wider area.
Eclectic pieces of furniture and oriental artwork complement well stocked bookshelves and create a beautiful juxtaposition to the contemporary apartment they fill. This one-bedroom apartment has lift access, an open-plan kitchen, living and dining areas which flow through to a private balcony overlooking the rear and there is also an en suite bathroom and a separate shower room with WC.
Trevow is ideal for couples looking to explore west Penwith all year round, being stone’s throw from the busy town centre you’ll never be short of things to do.
LOCATION
Located in a quiet location just a stroll from Penzance’s high street or the popular Chapel Street, this property is situated perfectly for exploring the best the town has to offer. Be right in the heart of it all but tucked away enough to enjoy a relaxing stay. The best local attractions, shops, galleries, bars, pubs and restaurants are all within walking distance. You can be in the oldest pub in Penzance, The Turks Head, dating from 1233, in a matter of minutes. Or walk along the seafront to the famous Jubilee Pool, the UK’s largest art deco seawater lido.
Penzance is the gateway to the Land’s End peninsula and in the Far West of Cornwall nothing is far away. The fishing harbour of Newlyn is 20 minutes’ walk along the seafront promenade, and the quaint village of Mousehole is only a 10 minutes’ drive away. Marazion, with the famous St. Michael’s Mount, is easy to walk or drive to and St. Ives is a short trip using the scenic rail line from Penzance station. Sennen Cove, The Minack Theatre in Porthcurno, and The Cornish Mining World Heritage Site on the north coast, are all an easy drive away. Many of the film locations from Winston Graham’s Poldark books are in the area and part of the German TV Rosamunde Pilcher series was filmed right outside the door in Chapel Street.
LIVING
Open-plan to the kitchen/dining area, the light living area is a comfortable space filled with eclectic pieces reflecting the owner Meg’s family’s history after a long residence in the far east . There is a dark blue velvety sofa to sink into for nights with a good film, or simply to put your feet up and indulge in one the owner’s many books. A second sofa makes for a sociable space and to relax. A large TV with Sky Essentials package will provide plenty of entertainment during your stay. Off the living area is access to a small balcony.
COOKING & EATING
This generous and spacious kitchen is open to the living area and has everything you need to cook up a storm, if you choose to. Penzance is a foodie’s delight! The kitchen includes a selection of fitted appliances including a fridge-freezer, microwave oven and grill, dish washer, electric oven, five ring gas hob and integrated washing machine as well as a countertop kettle and toaster. (The wine cooler is not in use).
SLEEPING
In the bright bedroom there's a comfy king size bed and en suite bathroom room, bedside tables with lamps for late night reading and a built-in wardrobe offering plenty of space for your clothes.
BATHING
The shower room is off the hallway from the bedroom. The is a shower with both overhead and handheld shower heads and a heated towel rail. As well as a WC and wash basin with a large well-lit mirror and power outlets. The bedroom has an ensuite bathroom too.
OUTSIDE
A balcony leads off the living area with outdoor chairs looking out to the rear of the buildings.
USEFUL TO KNOW...
PARKING: There is a secure private parking space behind electric gates.
WI-FI: Fast wifi (Up to 17MB) broadband means you can stay connected.
HEATING: Underfloor gas central heating throughout will keep you warm during the cooler months.
PETS: Trevow is a dedicated pet-free property.
LINEN & TOWELS: You'll have bedding & towels but please bring your own beach towels.
UTILITY: There is an integrated washing machine in the kitchen and an airer for drying clothes. An ironing board and iron are stored in the bedroom.
ACCESSIBILITY: This apartment is located on the second floor accessible via a lift or stairs, so may not be suitable for everyone. All rooms are one level once inside. If in doubt or if you have any questions do get in touch before booking.

We are The Cornish Way Limited. My name is Seb and together with assistance from Adrienne and Lowenna we run The Cornish Way, a small local holiday agency managing a fine collection of cottages on behalf of their owners. Working from a converted dairy on the outskirts of Penzance together with our office dogs, Baloo and Herbie we are located close by to all the cottages.
The whole team live locally so always get in touch. We are usually on hand to help with your stay even if it's just a tip for a good local pub or beach!
