House was as described and great location for going rafting. Host was informative, we were to text when we arrived and she met us at the house to give us the keys and point out a few things. It wasn't an issue for us but there is a section of pasture fence that faces the road that a dog could skip through if motivated. It was a lovely home but we did wish there were curtains or blinds on the downstairs windows and sliding glass doors, especially the bathroom. But otherwise lovely stay and we would book again.

Peaceful and relaxing

This peaceful, quiet, tranquil setting was ideal. The sunsets both nights were spectacular! The grounds were perfect for our cornhole competition, and the dogs loved being able to run and chase the frogs into the pond.

Peaceful Retreat

We had a wonderful getaway. The house is spacious and contained everything our family of four needed (plenty of blankets, cookware, towels, etc). We enjoyed playing games in the yard and exploring the surrounding area. Misty and Nancy were very responsive and helpful. The views are spectacular and the area is quiet, just what we needed! We hope to return for another adventure.

Haven for our rafting trip

This is the perfect place for our annual whitewater trip. Hosts are great, responsive and helpful for us. We will be back.

Beautiful location

Beautiful location, lovely stay for Thanksgiving! We were very comfy in their home with great views. Good to know that if your dog is an escape artist the fencing isn't fully enclosed (one side is open fencing). Other than that was perfect stay!

Your only night lighting are the stars above.

We spent an enjoyable week in this high desert country ranch setting with only cows and deer as neighbors. This was a great base of operations to drive all the byways within a 50 mile radius. Lots of 'ghost town' type buildings throughout the area for photo ops. Very scenic setting for Maupin in the Deschutes river canyon ; very impressive White River Falls and the fun little not quite ghost town of Shaniko. Major river fishing area also. If your're looking for a nice quiet, off the grid place to stay, consider this property

Great location for rafting

Some friends and I stayed here for the weekend and had a great time. It is a very easy drive to Maupin for rafting, the house was spacious, beds comfy, property peaceful, and hosts were responsive to questions. We’d definitely go back.

Great farmhouse

Wonderful, peaceful property! Very quiet and a lovely area. Property owner was very attentive and quick to respond! Will definitely return!

Family with fur babies

Very nice home, lots of space and comfort for all. Our fur babies really enjoyed the large fenced yard. The deck off the master bedroom was wonderful for morning coffee. The kitchen was well equipped. All beds were very comfortable. The hostess was wonderful and timely with any questions or needs we had. Beautiful pasture to take in with baby cows. There was one surprise, the roaming cat, it's definitely friendly, bit our dogs were not a fan lol. I cannot say enough great things, truly a delightful place. We adventure out to water water falls, and did some white water rafting another day. Thanks for having a nice, very clean and inviting home.
