Charming house on 3 levels, completely renovated, comprising:
- Ground floor comprising a large fitted garage with utility room, toilet (shower, WC), space for storing bikes or any sporting equipment. ping pong table and wall bars available
- First floor: large living room with breathtaking view of the fishing port, American kitchen opening onto the inner courtyard, TV, Bathroom (shower, bath, WC, sink), master bedroom overlooking the courtyard with water point.
- Second floor: two spacious bedrooms (1 bedroom with two twin beds overlooking the harbor and one bedroom with double bed overlooking the roofs), a bathroom shared by the two bedrooms (with shower, sanitary and sink), large areas of storage in the two bedrooms.

Perfect vacation home

The house was perfect location for our trip visiting beaches and museum's. It was clean and very well equiped with everything we needed and Regine was lovely and friendly.

Perfect stay

We had a great time The house was lovely and in a great position overlooking the harbour We came with my adult children to visit the D day beaches and war cemeteries and the house was in a perfect position for this We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again but for longer next time

Port en Bessin

Loved our stay here in the Normandy area. Just loved this little town. The apartment was perfect, beds were comfy too! The owners were very helpful when we needed the heaters turned on! We hit a rainy and cold period! For those with mobility issues, fyi, all bedrooms are located up stairs.

Beautiful house, fabulous location and great host

The location is gorgeous and the house was perfect. Regine the host was very welcoming and had provided everything we could possibly need. Close to restaurants, bars and of course patisseries. Would love to return. Thank you Regine.

A sweet spot in Normandie

This is a second time we have stayed in this beautiful home in the seaside village. The house has everything you need and is very clean and cozy. The host, Regine, is a lovely woman and make sure that you are comfortable. Beautiful location, beautiful home, highly recommend it.

Absolutely perfect

This property is just perfectly situated for D-Day experience. Beautiful home spacious and really comfortable, everything you mighr need is there. Host was fantastic nothing too much trouble. Would recommend to everyone and the little port itself has plenty of places to eat and seafood is its speciality.

Best of Stays

On our trip through Europe we stayed at 4 VRBO’s. This home was our favorite. Great central location for touring Normandy. Walk to shops and restaurants. Home is extremely clean and well cared for. Perfect stay.

Lovely and great location

The property was just as described. Regine arrived to let us in and showed us the house. Very comfortable and pretty. Excellent location in the center of the village that made for easy strolling to restaurants and shops.

Perfect Stay

This is my second year to stay here. I fell in love with the town a few years ago, and I equally love this house. It is perfect for all Normandy adventures. Easily sleeps 6 people and is well supplied with all your needs.

Régine and Philippe have a very special place here!

We loved it and would and hope to return. Everything was perfect and so well supplied. The location is beautiful. We loved overlooking the fishing boats. It was so peaceful. Access to the D-Day beaches was easy and close.

Charmed in Port en Bessin

The property and the town were charming. The house was perfect for the six of us. Clean and well appointed. Excellent location for visiting the Normandy beaches. The town is a picturesque fishing village. Restaurants, bars and grocery all within very short walking distance.

Excellent property

Perfect location on harbour front, always something happening with boats coming in and out. Comfortable house with a perfect mix of French charm and all modern comforts. Everythin thought of and welcome gifts of cider, juice and biscuits. Would recommend to anyone looking for a break in the area.

Fantastic apartment

The apartment is beautiful, immaculate and very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need and more. Ten minutes from Omaha Beach by car. Great walks. Great local shops within walking distance.

Beautiful central location in quaint fishing village

4 of us stayed in this well kaput and well appointed apartment. Easy access to all Normandy beaches and D day museums. Great local restaurants or cook in with local supermarket produce and even a local market. Not lacking anything. Would return and also recommend to friends

Lovely property great location friendly owners

We were there with our son and daughter-in-law and 2 grandsons and the accommodation was perfect. The house was in tip top condition and the location was ideal. Attractive and interesting fishing port with great rock pools at low water for the boys. The owners were very friendly and most helpful. We could not have wanted more from the property and much look forward to returning. John and Stephanie Riley

Perfect house!

Beautiful, well appointed house in a charming fishing village with every amenity possible. We were 2 couples, but house is perfect for families, too. The owners were very gracious and helpful. Be sure to walk the harbor and beachfront, have a meal at La Marie du Port and avail yourself of the bakery and the glacé. Perfect place to visit the Dday sights and the old town of Bayeaux. We will return!

very nice!

We really enjoyed our stay in the house of Mareyeur. Located on the quai, we could hear the bells toll, and watch the fishing boats. Excellently appointed, fully equiped kitchen, nicely decorated home. We felt like we were guests in someone's home. Perfectly located close to shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. Highly recommended!

Perfect stay in Normandy

We loved this house in the middle of a picturesque fishing village. The house was immaculate and well equipped with plenty of space for two couples. Situated close to all of the DDay sites, it made our excursions easy to maneuver. Evenings were spent enjoying meals at the many great restaurants in town. The Sunday morning farmers market is on the same street and is filled with a huge variety of vegetables fruits fish and cooked dishes. Unbelievable!

Lovely home in Port en Bissen

We booked this lovely well equipped home in Port en Bisson for 5 days with another couple. It has 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths. The location is very convenient to the D Day Beaches and museums. There are many local restaurants and shops within a short walking distance. A wonderful bakery is steps away. There is a view of the busy fishing port right outside your front window and a peaceful sitting nook off the very well supplied kitchen. A private garage is helpful if street parking is full. We highly recommend this VRBO. Thank you Regine

Beautiful location and lovely apartment.

Group of 5 adults stayed for 5 nights. The apartment had everything we needed and then some. Great location to visit the the surrounding beaches and attractions. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. Extremely clean and comfortable beds. Nice area to enjoy breakfast. Also had a nice patio but didn’t have a chance to use. We were able to do our laundry before leaving. Would surely stay again. Super hosts from beginning to end.

Harbour view

The house is in the perfect location for touring the D day beaches, overlooking the harbour watching the trawlers with a glass of wine perfect! Patisserie a few steps away and a small supermarket around the corner, many eating venues all in walking distance. The house is very clean and extremely well equipped everything you would need, better than pictures show. Regine was very friendly and good communication before and during our stay. Recommended home from home we would gladly return.

Relaxed and comfortable holiday home

We really enjoyed the time in Port-en-Bessing, the house is very comfortable, centrally located in the harbor. Nevertheless, the place itself is rather quiet, since not so much touristy developed, like the places in the area - you can still enjoy French way of life. The landlords Régine and Philippe have taken very good care of us, for example, the dishwasher was broken and was almost immediately replaced. Therefore our sincere thanks to Régine and Philippe and our recommendation for this wonderful house.

Terrific

The four of us all really enjoyed Mareyeur. The location is great with all the activity in the little port, but it only comes in bursts when they open the tidal gates twice a day for four hours. The townhouse has been recently remodeled and is up to date and done in great taste. The owners were great and very responsive. When the frig acted up, they replaced it the next day! Terrific location for daily excursions to the local sites.
