Our host, Peter, was wonderful. Dropped off an extra fan for our use and stayed to chat for a bit. Wonderfully secluded spot to hang out and regrouped in the evenings while we toured the area this summer. Just a couple of units around the property. Clean and tidy with a great host! Would definitely recommend!

Nice place and great location for skiing!

Clean and spacious Apartment in a great location! Very easy to get to either Snowriver location from this place..

Convenient and clean location!

The property was perfect for our family of four, skiing at both properties at Snow River. Check-in was easy, and the property was clean. The kitchen included all of the utensils, pots and pans that we needed. It was an enjoyable stay!

Peter was great! We had a little trouble with the lock the first night due to the cold and he answered and showed up within minutes. Will be back next year.

Beautiful location

My husband and I stayed at the condo with our two dogs. Very pet friendly. Very relaxing being out in the woods. Very safe and secure. The bedding could be improved but overall we enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay there again!!

Great location and amenities

We stayed here in early March for a family spring skiing weekend at Snow River Mountain resort. It was quiet and plenty of room for our family of 4. We brought our dog and there was plenty of area to exercise him. We walked to the chairlift at Jackson Creek (Indianhead)—although quite the hill to go down/up…but better than driving.

Charming, cozy place!!

Charming, cozy place located right at the base of the mountain. Peter is very responsive and accommodating. Perfect location to hit the local ski hills. Stayed here with my four daughters and had a blast. Fireplace is stocked with ample wood. Would highly recommend.

Fall weekend

We spent a cool and rainy fall weekend here. We did not explore the immediate area but did spend an entire day hiking and exploring the porcupines. The property was clean and had most of what we needed (no wine glasses). We enjoyed our stay.

Summer 2024

Western UP Adventure

We had a great stay at Peter’s. It provided a perfect base to the Porkies, Copper Peak waterfall tour, and bike trail in Bessemer. This was rescheduled from February (no snow, so no skiing) and Peter was so accommodating since this was their “off season”.

We had a great stay! Peter was super communicative and took great care of us. Condo was comfortable and clean, fireplace was lovely to use -with plenty of wood and kindling stocked-, and kitchen had all basics we needed (though we did go out and buy some gallons of drinking water). We were cozy and warm, and the views could not be beat! So quiet and serene - a true winter wonderland. Except that deer we hit on the way in, watch out for those (oops). We had LOTS of fresh snow and it made it too difficult to get down the hill for true "direct access ski" from the condo, but it was very quick for me to drop my kids/spouse off via car at the bottom of the mountain where the lift is. Great location! Our kids loved all the space to play in the snow by the condo, as well.

Nice location

Location is was good at base of Indianhead ski hills and were able walk about 1/4 block and then ski down to lift which was very convenient. Place was a little outdated and carpet stained needing replacement but overall was fairly clean. Nice 2 person hot tub after a day skiing. We always make our meals so was limited utensils and cookware for group of 4. We had to wash plates and silverware after each use to enough for next meal. Sitting area a bit small for 2 adults and 2 teens but cozy. Rooms were good size with 2 queen beds for kids which eliminated arguments! Overall would give 3.5 - you pay for the location not the amenities so if plan on being out all day with limited time in the place this will work well for you.

Thank you for your honest feedback. Replacing the carpet in our units is high on the maintenance list as we agree its getting a bit wore down. I do apologize if the unit was light on kitchen supplies. Ill take a look to see what happened. There should have been at least enough for a couple meals. Sometimes when one group rents more than one unit the kitchen supplies get moved around between units and it goes unnoticed. If there is anything that we can do for you again in the future, please let me know.

Great stay

The place was bigger than I was expecting. The beds were comfortable and the location was fantastic. Was able to walk to one of the ski chair lifts. It is down a slight hill and across a river bridge but definitely manageable. Peter was a good host and stopped by to check on us the 2nd night. We were in unit 6 which was on the lower level and the only thing we really didn't like was the creaking floor above us. There was a group that really liked to stomp around and you can hear it quite clearly. May need to replace the floors soon. The other thing that would have been helpful to know is how to lock the front door. We figured it out but it isn't super obvious. (you have to have the lock line pointing straight up/down). Otherwise, great stay!

Great Stay

We enjoyed our stay. Check-in process was easy and location was right near the base of Indianhead resort. It was a very short walk to where we could ski down to a lift. Wood fireplace was a nice option after a cold day on the slopes. Property manager was great at communicating.
