Whether you come to wed, wine, jam or dine, Tumlin House extends a warm nineteenth century welcome for your epic group or family getaway into the north Georgia mountains.

Unique to this property is that it sits alone among a full acre of land comprising an entire city block, with a large yard and a fruit bearing grove of trees, all within a solid stone's throw to the shops and restaurants of the downtown commercial business district. Great trip

Beautiful house with much history! It is huge, we had plenty of space despite having a large group. Great location, we were able to walk to our destinations. Would stay again.

80th Birthday Celebration

We could not have been more pleased with Tumlin House. We had 13 people total and not once did we feel cramped or crowded - the multiple living spaces were perfect. And the large table in the kitchen fit everyone for the catered birthday dinner. The home was functional as well as beautiful and we would definitely recommend, especially for large groups. Easy walking to the square. We had a fantastic time!

A perfectly perfect home for our son's wedding weekend!

We are so grateful we had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful, historical home for our son's wedding weekend. We had ample space to welcome guests to stop by and the backyard was gorgeous and even offered enough lovely space to have our rehearsal for the big day. The stunning house was clean, updated, and comfortable yet still had the charm of a beautiful vintage home. Thanks to these great hosts for sharing this home and property with our family.

Dream location!

The Tumlin House exceeded every expectation we had as a place to house my daughter’s wedding party. Each of the 6 upstairs bedrooms had the feel of a bed and breakfast and the downstairs master bedroom with its uexpansive master bath was over the top, providing ample space for the girls to get ready.

Perfect Bridesmaids House

This was the perfect house for my daughter's bridesmaids to stay during the wedding weekend. It was clean and so very authentic. The girls loved it! Lauren was so great to deal with.

We had a wonderful stay at Tumlin House in charming downtown Dahlonega as our family from all over the U.S. gathered for a wedding. I highly recommend this property for large families that provides walkable access to the shops and restaurants in Dahlonega.

Prefect Ladies Weekend

We were a BIG group of women, but everyone was comfortable and we had plenty of space. The house is beautifully decorated. The location can’t be beat! Overall, we loved it. Excited to have a great retreat property in our back pocket for the next trip!

A Fantastic Place

This is a wonderful historic house with 7 bedrooms, each beautifully decorated. It’s well stocked with essentials and the owners were available to answer any questions we had. The location is perfect for walking around town and convenient for visiting nearby attractions. Dahlonega is a perfect destination to celebrate the Christmas season. Our family loved our visit there.

Perfect Home!

Awesomeness!

We rented the Tumlin House for our family to stay in for my daughter’s wedding at Cold Creek Farm. And so glad we did!! The home is historical and such a beauty! Everything about it was comfortable and inviting. Lauren is a wonderful person to rent from. She’s super accommodating and just a lovely person. We’re excited that the Tumlin House will be a part of our wedding memories!!

Perfect Wedding House for Groomsmen

This house is absolutely magnificent and was the perfect place for our group of groomsmen and their dates for their weekend. It’s literally in the heart of downtown Dahlonega and features spacious common areas, upper and lower porches, and a large amount of green space. You couldn’t ask for a better house in the area, and anyone would be lucky to reserve this place for their group. We will definitely be coming back, and would strongly reccommend to anyone with a large party or simply looking for a classic but modern home with wonderful amenities.

Expectations Exceeded!

Pictures do not do this house justice! It is huge and even more beautiful in person. We stayed with 6 other couples (we are all in our 50's and 60's) and as long as you don't mind common bathrooms, the house was plenty big. We were right on the square so we could walk everywhere and enjoyed a lovely wine tour on Saturday. The subartic temps of the weekend didn't spoil our fun. We shared gigantic belly laughs playing games at the huge kitchen table. Lauren, the host is super responsive. She usually responded to my many inquiries in minutes, but never more than hours. I would love to visit again some day!

Girls Weekend

We had a wonderful stay at the Tumlin House. We were a group of 8 moms with discerning tastes. We felt like we were staying in a sorority house. It was large and Gorgeous. There were so many rooms to hangout, we didn’t even use them all. The extra large kitchen table was fun. Super close to downtown Dahlonega. We walked to breakfast at the Picnic Basket. It was delicious. We will definitely be back for a couples trip or another girls weekend.
