Great Location!

Beautiful 3 bedroom (2 king, 2 queen, 2 bath located on one of the best lake properties on Lake Brownwood. Enjoy the 367 feet of waterfront. Fishing off the boat dock is great. Build a fire in the waters edge fire pit and enjoy s’mores while overlooking the lake. Location, location, location!!! In walking distance to public boat ramp and less than a 5 minute boat or drive to the Wild Duck Marina. Enjoy playing golf? Well bring the clubs. A beautiful golf course is close as well. Need to run to town, no problem. Home is located on the same side of the lake as the town of Brownwood with less than a 10 minute drive. Come and enjoy our little piece of lake heaven.

This is a smoke and pet free home.

Response from host is quick. Fishing at the dock is awesome, it’s nice short walk to the dock from the house and the lights at the dock for night fishing is excellent. I would rate it a 4.5 overall and will come back again. Our family had an awesome time . Thanks again to the host. No WiFi but that is truly not a game changer from renting the home and short drive to Walmart to get some damp rid for the smell, which made the difference, Grill need a thru cleaning so you don’t have grease fire. beds are comfortable.

Best spot on the lake

We’ve taken many lake trips and this was by far our favorite! The location was perfect, with a yard for the kids to play and fish as we pleased. The house was well-stocked with essentials. Owners were great at communicating.

Wonderful property and amazing hosts!! Best time we have ever had at the lake and it was mainly because of the house. Lack of internet wasn’t a problem with our phones (Verizon). We were able to connect throughout the house with no problems. Great location on the lake. It’s very close to the public boat ramp and across the lake from the Wild Duck Marina. Can’t wait to stay her again!

Beautiful location. Beautiful home. Needs alot of TLC. All rentals we book have essentials trash bags, toiletries ect. Dock was infested with webs, spiders. ( i know its to be expected however, it was beyond normal) Bedrooms had spider webs and spiders in corners of ceilings , there is a bed next to sliding door which was also infested with spider eggs (we did clean that as we had little one’s sleeping there) . Host is easy to communicate with. Definitely just needs some tlc but home is in a great location and host is easily reachable.

The location was excellent! It had a great view of the lake. We thoroughly enjoyed Lake Brownwood. We appreciated that the lake house had an excellent air conditioner and that there was an extra refrigerator. The house could have been cleaner and we believe more could have been done to control the spiders on the deck and dock. The dock needs some repair. Despite these issues, our family had a great week.

FANTASTIC STAY!!! We were there 4 nights and I wish it was longer. There were 4 adults and 4 children and we did not feel crammed. The hosts made sure we had every kind of kitchen utensil, pots and pans and gadget needed. There was not 1 thing we wish we would have brought. Excellent spot to walk down and swim, If you love to fish, this is the place for you. Sitting out on the deck with a cup of coffee in the mornings while watching the still water, then watching the sunsets in the evenings was incredible. We will be back for that BIG BASS lurking around the dock. Thank you

Great view but no Wi-fi

The home and view was great, but it was difficult not having WiFi and limited local channels (no NBC). Otherwise it was the perfect home for our family. Master was separated from the other 2 bedrooms and was a nice open concept kitchen/living arrangement.

No WiFi, maintance needed, Great porch overlooking dock & lake.

We were very disappointed the VBRO ad did not mention there would be no WiFi. None of could use our tablets/computers/kindles or some functions on our phones. Additionally, no TV service without the WiFi. Nice large TV there, but unless. 2 bathrooms, but 1 had a very small shower with poor water pressure. 9 adults were constantly vying for the larger shower. House and beds nice/comfortable Porch rails need maintenance. Several of us got splinters from deck and railing, plus nails in deck are up which injured one of us quite nastily.

Relaxing lake life!

Thanks Christine and Jim Bob for a perfect home base on beautiful Lake Brownwood while we were in town for a family wedding. The house was clean and comfortable. We loved the open concept between the kitchen and living and dining. Next time we'll definitely want to experience the lake!
