Thanks for sharing your experience, Sarah! I'm happy to see that you rated the rental five out of five stars, so guessing that you were pleased with the villa, pool, beach and amenities. I'm distressed to learn that although the check in time is 4:00, your villa was not ready until 6:00. It is true that with such a large property, there will be many guests checking in simultaneously. The front desk and housekeeping staff at Marriott Aruba Surf Club does an excellent job of having villas prepared for arrival and quite often will have villas available early, but on this occasion, it seems that they fell short. I am hoping that they offered some sort of concession like a cocktail around the pool while you waited.
