Whether you are visiting New Orleans for a perfect romantic getaway for two, traveling on your family vacation or visiting on business, the newly renovated Merchant Lofts by Hosteeva is a perfect place to be your home away from home putting you steps away from the magnificent French Quarter.

While you enjoy your stay in the jazz capital of the world, you’ll be conveniently located steps from the vibrant shopping, dining and entertainment of Magazine St, as well as famous cafes, bistros and music clubs on Bourbon Street. You will be literally less than one minute away from the French Quarter.

If you want to try some of the best NOLA has to offer when it comes to food, you can’t miss the local hot spot Ruby Slipper Cafe, located right next door to your condo. With over 3000 5-star reviews of their amazing food, this is a must-visit place while you are here. Make sure to try those amazing bisquettes, we promise you’ll never taste anything quite like it. Other options include crowd favorites like Chophouse New Orleans, The Tasting Room, Lilly’s Café and more, as well as Starbucks located in Sheraton Hotel, right next to your condo.

If you are up for a fun night out, Harrah's New Orleans is a casino located 2-minute walking distance from your condo. There is no parking at the property. But you can find paid parking nearby.

• Premium Parking P 346 – 2 minutes walking distance - prices vary from day to day, typically it's $30-35/night
• Street parking paid - Central Business District and Warehouse District are $3.00 an hour. Parking meter rates are $2.00 an hour everywhere else in the city of New Orleans. Operating hours for the meters are 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday-Saturday. Parking is prohibited at meters in designated rush hour zones from 7 a.m. - 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. Please read the meters before you park! Also, know that broken meters are not free passes. They are technically off-limits and could land you a ticket!
Things to know
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ROOFTOP IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION

• We may use video surveillance in public areas.
• The number of overnight guests cannot exceed the maximum occupancy. Extra guests and visitors are not permitted without management consent. Violators will be charged $500 fine.
• The building is located on a bustling street, which can be disturbing in the evenings.
• For an additional fee, daily housekeeping services are available upon your request.
• The property is very bright due to the skylight.
House rules
• NO SMOKING in unit/house as well as the balcony. Any violation of the smoking policy will incur a $250.00 fine plus the cleaning costs necessary to remove smoke odors from the unit/house and/or linens.
• Pets are not allowed. Violation of our pet policy may result in a $500 plus cleaning expenses. We encourage guests with service animals to contact us before their stay.
• Quiet hours are observed from 9pm-8am. Violators will be charged a $200 fine.
• Please note: We are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, as well as stolen or damaged items that occur while on the premises, its facilities or parking lots.
• Traveler must be at least 21 years of age to make a reservation.
• State Identification Card or Driver License copy will be requested upon booking.
• Local resident restrictions apply. Guests residing within a 100-mile radius are required to contact the host before booking.
• House parties and illegal substances are strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate eviction. Violators will be charged $500 fine
• For same day late check-ins, you need to get the host's approval before booking.

NOLA Experience

We use VRBO on a regular basis and never had any trouble at all with listing accuracy, communication with the owners or the cleanliness of a rental. This was our first bad experience...I really wanted to give a 1 star rating, but really thought this out so I could give an honest review. This was our first visit to NOLA and the neighborhoods arent all that great within the city center - and we get that. Like the other reviews, the neighborhood is on the shady side, very loud and active with people till all hours of the night. I kinda feel Vegas has nothing on NOLA in this area. But we accepted this and we eagerly get to our unit - oh my. The door to the unit was barley hanging by the hinge it was on and we could hardly get in....then the furniture. Broken couch, with most of the material (vinyl) ripped off. I felt like I walked into the twilight zone. I instantly called Hosteeva - which was a number in CA (there is no one on site). I was told the unit was advertised with no couch, which just mad me angry. After a few calls and 45 minutes later, we were moved into another unit. This building needs major up-dating in a big way. The toilet fixture was broken, no water pressure, the wood floors are splintered and it smelled like garbage. Since it was just my husband and I we made the most of it - but I will never use this host again, especially with the amount of $$ spent to stay. On the plus side we did have an AC unit that worked and a few linens that were clean. The Ruby Slipper is across the street which we ate at a few times and is great. Just be aware when renting, and I really wish I had a better experience.

Nice space and location but a bit noisy.

This was our first trip to New Orleans and we loved the area. This property is located within easy walking distance of all the French Quarter attractions we were interested in visiting. The unit was very clean. It could have used a fitted sheet on the bed. The downside was the noise at night. The quaint, single pane windows that faced the street didnt provide much noise suppression so all the night time noises were bothersome. On the plus side there wasn't a late night establishment close so what we experienced was along the lines of loud vehicles, the many garbage trucks that serviced the area nightly, emergency vehicles and loud people wondering the street. In the end, I'd recommend the property.
