This house exceeded our expectations. It's a beautiful, light and spacious house with the most unspoiled view over the bay. The kitchen is so well equipped and had everything we could need.. The bedrooms are big, the beds are super comfortable and the showers are fantastic. Everything was clean and tidy and we were all so happy to be there for 4 nights. It really was the perfect base to explore Scalpay, Harris and Lewis. We'd highly recommend this cottage and would love to return. It was an absolute joy.

Better than the pictures showed! Lovely local Harris toiletries and reed diffusers.Loved watching the harbour from the lounge window and bedroom balcony.

Where do i begin ! This place has exceeded my expectations. The owner really has taken everything into consideration and has everything available in the property to make your stay comfortable & easy. Immaculate condition, clean, solid interiors and located in a stunning picturesque spot. The view from the property is unmatched. Ideal to stay with children. There is even a playpark across the house. This place was home away from home. I will definately miss it and hopefully wish to return one day :)

This lovely cottage is better than the pictures. To start each morning in the sunroom with a cup of tea, looking out at the spectacular view was a gift. The bedrooms were all lovely and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook some wonderful meals. The weather was superb and we were also able to dine outside on the terrace. It was a joy to communicate with the owner, Fiona. We loved the little additional touches, like the local shower gels and shampoo from the Isle of Harris. The Outer Hebrides were better than we imagined. I definitely recommend the hike around the island of Scalpay which you can do right from the house, including a visit to the lighthouse, a definite highlight. The most magnificent beaches are only a short drive away. I hope we can return! And when we do, we will definitely stay here.

This was what we hoped for, a relaxing stay and a choice of places to go if we wanted to leave the house!It’s a bright house, comfortably and attractively furnished, a place for doing nothing or looking forward to returning to after a day out.We’ll-equipped for cooking and cleaning up afterwards. Loved having plenty of dishes so you could fill the dishwasher before you ran out of things.The bedrooms provide for a good nights sleep and the bathrooms with powerful showers and fluffy towels add to the feeling of well-being.The house is in a lovely setting amongst a number of homes and overlooking a small harbour. It is a short distance from the excellent North Harbour Bistro, which is a definite bonus!
