Sketchy Area

On our drive from the airport to the house, we saw a car with a shot out side view mirror park in the middle of the road and a drug deal happen in the middle of the street about a mile from the house. We didn’t feel comfortable staying there but was unable to get a refund for our stay

Nice foodie neighborhood

We had a nice stay at this property. The owner was responsive and helpful. It was a great price for the amount of space at the rental. Had some great food just a short walk away.

Great place for the price

This house is located in an area that makes it easy to get anywhere you need to go. There are plenty of great places for food and drinks that are within a short walk or drive. Some of my family members felt that the area was unsafe at night but I never felt that way during our stay. The house does not quite live up to the pictures. It needs a super deep clean and to be upgraded generally. However, it is quite a bit cheaper than everything else I looked at so maybe that is the trade off. Overall we had an enjoyable stay and it was big enough for my large family without ever feeling crowded. Note: there is only 1 bathroom on the main floor the other is in the basement and you have to go down a steep/tight spiral staircase to get to it as well as 2 of the bedrooms, laundry, and second kitchen. It’s not for the faint of heart. I recommend this house if you want a budget friendly option for a large group

Great Spot in Heart of City

Great spot to use as home base for a concert or Twins game. All kinds of stuff to do right out the front door.

Lots of space

The hosts were super responsive and the neighborhood is great. Plenty of room for our family of 8. The kitchen could use some more equipment and there is some work to be done in the place.

The backyard was a dump and the oven didn't work. Pretty poor conditions considering families were going to be staying there. In addition, the house was divided and split into two with an additional family staying there, which wasn't described in the order offer

Girls Trip!

I stayed here with my two teen daughters and my 1yo daughter with a friend of mine for a girls trip! We definitely enjoyed the space and each getting a bedroom. The location seemed great for what we all did over the weekend. I would definitely choose this option over hotel stays for our next trip!

Location! Location! Location!

We planned a couple day trip to the Mall of America. This location was perfect and we loved the fact that the local shops were within walking distance to go grab a cup of coffee at the many different coffee shops or yummy pizza from Black Sheep (a must). There was plenty of room for our family of 5.! Rachael was also wonderful and always quick to respond. Thank you for sharing your home.

Great place for big groups

Great property with all the amenities necessary. As described and the host was very communicative. Late checkout wasn’t available but they let us keep our bags at the property which was a huge help. A little bit older and loud but that’s a given with houses with character. Would recommend for any large groups!

We didn't stay. We drove home. Rental had not been cleaned since last renters. Owner was kind and responsive but we didn't want to stay after we saw the place. Still looking for a refund

Great stay in Minneapolis

Our group consisted of 2 couples. The layout of the property allowed us both parking spaces right behind the property and each couple had their own floor. Our friends stayed on the main floor which had 3 bedroom areas and a full bathroom, kitchen, dining room, and living room. Our friends said that the bedroom that they stayed in was very comfortable. We stayed in the basement area which also had it's own kitchen, dining area, bathroom, and living room. As we stayed in February it was a little chilly but Rachael provided 2 heaters that made the basement comfortable. We also found the bed very comfortable. The location was great! In the area we went to the Up Down a couple of times. Our main goal of our 5 day vacation was to go to many restaurants. The house was only 15 minutes away from downtown. I was worried about "rush hour" traffic but we had 7:30PM reservations for Manny on a Tuesday and it was so quick to get to! We also went to MOA and the casino which were a little further away but still very easy to get to. We watched some of the DVDs & played the board games that were available. The bathrooms also had shampoo/conditioner/body wash available in case you forgot. Also some coffee and other little things were available for guests as well. The automatic key entries were great to have since we had multiple parties and didn't have to organize getting everyone in & out. If you're planning on staying in the basement section this is only accessible by stairs which may limit who could access this section, although we didn't have a problem. Also there is an upstairs portion to the house that people occupy, but all the doors into your section of the house have keypad locks so you feel very secure. The couple that were in the main part said that they weren't bothered by the people upstairs. Rachael was very responsive to e-mails and made the check-in/check-out process very easy. It was a great stay! Thank you!

Sisters/Cousins Weekend

Nice location close to downtown, restaurants and bars. The house had everything we needed. There was enough room for all of us to enjoy our annual weekend get together.

Respite for our family

This was a lovely home to stay in and accommodated our family very comfortably. Restaurants were a walk away and easy to access. Thank you so much to our hosts for making this an easy place to land while we were in Minneapolis!

convenient and comfy stay

I was looking for a place near our daughter' school so we could walk to her graduation ceremony. Rachael place was perfect not only from location perspective but also from accommodations and coziness :). Very spacious and clean - recommend it.
