Better than a hotel

Great house, easy location, and enough beds for all of us. Kitchen is great for cooking special meals (we have children with food allergies). WiFi worked well. My daughters loved the ping pong table. Parking in the garage was a nice option too.

Great home, not cleaned well

The house itself was great.. however ended up doing laundry right when we got there due to stains on 2 of 3 beds

Owner's response: "Brandon, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed that you had a bad experience, we do appreciate you mentioning that the house itself was great. - We take cleanliness seriously and because of your experience, we have begun working with a new cleaning company to ensure that future guests do not share your experience. We will be sure our new cleaning agency is aware of what is expected and that all future guests are pleased. We do apologize for this unfortunate matter, please accept our sincere apology We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays! We will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences we are known for."

Nice home but poor guest consideration

Good location and neighborhood. Ping pong table was fun. Satisfactory facilities and appliances. Easy access. But…Less than appealing decor. Stains on sheets and pillowcases. Dirty dishes in the dishwasher when we arrived, and no dishwasher detergent. Kitchen chairs assembled wrong and couldn’t be used. Overall, poor value.

Hi Norman, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: - We strive to provide our guests with a great guest experience, so we were disappointed to hear your feedback and want to take a moment to address your concerns. - We use a cleaning service to professionally clean the home before each guest's stay. We wish you had reached out to the Guest Contact during your stay. We would have promptly responded and been happy to address any concerns you may have had. We have since followed up with our cleaning team to ensure future guests do not share the same experience. - After hearing your feedback, we have since replaced the dining set with a new one that is much nicer. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again and provide you with the 5-star experience that you truly deserve. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

Nice Stay

The location of the property was ideal close to everything. The decoration of the property was really nice. I enjoyed my stay. I will say the only few downsides was that the bathroom shower downstairs was the worst, a new shower head is needed. Couldn’t take a real befitting shower due to the shower head not properly working. And the other downside was the yard was so unkept couldn’t make use of the grassy area because it was so bushy and I was afraid if I go down into the grassy area I will get bitten by something. Those two things was the only negative thing; overall I did enjoy my stay at the property the neighborhood is a very quiet area. I don’t mind booking at this property again in the future.

Terrible Communication and No Concern for Safety

The property management company was terrible and didn't provide any help with refunds due to a winter storm. The owner of the property failed to communicate with me directly at and refused to provide any kind of refund for our stay. We were physically unable to check in and we gave advance notice. I would refrain from booking any properties with Evolve Management or this location. Waste of your time.

Hello Mary, thank you for taking the time to leave your review. The homeowner has asked us to pass along the following message: -We try our best to provide an excellent experience for all guests, but sometimes external factors are simply out of our control, such as inclement weather conditions. We follow the cancellation policy on a consistent basis, but we did offer you the opportunity to re-schedule your reservation at the time of your choosing, outside of the standard policy. The right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed that this wasn't the one for you, and we apologize for the impact this had on your vacation experience. Thank you

Just what was needed for a family event

First, Najah was responsive to our followups and even had a family member drop off a garage door opener and a water pitcher on Friday night- thank you. The accommodations were quite good, the ping-pong table was utilized and the air conditioner worked just fine. Finally, communications were not a challenge for us! As for suggestions, maybe an instructional manual for technology disadvantaged people on using the cable would be helpful, but frankly, we were not there to watch cable. Also, maybe a few more utensils in the kitchen would be nice. Again, just suggestions. We would definitely use this home again in the future, especially with proximity to the Minneapolis center area and responsiveness of the owner. Arthur Barrett

Never received a check-in email. I messaged the host and did not hear back. I had to call to receive check-in information. Downstairs shower did not work well (loud vibrating pipes when using warm water). Minimal kitchen supplies for prepping meals (one unusable frying pan and a few pots). Grill not clean. Property is close to downtown and easy to get to several local sites. Family had fun with the ping pong table however we had to purchase our own ping pong balls to play. Beds were comfortable and the house was easy to access once I was given the access code.

We had an overall good experience but the linens and towels were not that fresh or new. We found bath matts in the dryer not already in place. Dryer didn't work properly either. Some updates in the house are nice but overall it was a average property.

Comfortable Accomodations

We stayed in this unit for a weekend football game at the University of Minnesota. There were five of us who stayed in the house and it worked well. Check in was easy and working with Evolve team was great! The house itself was a bit dated and could use a few updates, but in general, it worked for five guys who attended a football game. The house was clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Use of the garage was nice to keep our vehicles out of the cold.
