Albert’s Castle Apartment is conveniently located within walking distance of the shops and restaurants in Baveno’s town centre and a beautiful historic church. This characterful apartment offers a peaceful escape surrounded by lush greenery and a shared garden where guests can meditate, relax or practice yoga amongst the palm trees, jasmine and soft trickling of the stream.
Inside, the property has been thoughtfully renovated, retaining the original exposed wood beams, a cool terracotta tiled floor and gorgeous double-height windows. The main living space is furnished with carefully chosen vintage furniture, including a dining table, a comfortable sofa bed, a Smart flatscreen TV, and built-in banquette seating. This room also incorporates a modern kitchen that’s fitted with a Moka coffee machine, an induction hob, a microwave, a dishwasher and a fridge freezer

Albert’s Castle Apartment is situated in the picturesque town of Baveno on the western shore of Lake Maggiore, a 10-minute walk from the centre of town and numerous restaurants and grocery stores. The town is known for its pink granite quarries and historic villas, including the 19th-century Villa Fedora (a 15-minute walk). The villa’s gardens are now a public park which extends to the shoreline and a pretty beach, providing a peaceful escape for visitors all year round.
Piazza della Chiesa and the historic Church of Santi Gervasio e Protasio (a 10-minute walk) is a must for lovers of art and culture. Here, guests will find a rich collection of frescoes and paintings, including those adorning the elegant arched walkway that frames the square itself. Guests can also take a boat tour from the ferry port in Stresa (a 7-minute drive away) to explore the three Borromean Islands, Isola Bella, Isola Madre and Isola dei Pescatori.
Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy Garden Alpinia in Alpino (a 25-minute drive) and the nearby Mottarone Mountain (a 40-minute drive) with panoramic views across the Lake. Mottarone is the perfect destination for hiking in the warmer months and skiing during winter.
