Farmhouse on 62 acres - Beautiful Views - Near Campbell Univ. and Ft. Bragg

This is a 100 year old home of the W.H. Salmon family of Harnett County. The home has been remodeled and sits on 62 acres of farmland. The acreage is currently used for farming and home to the Salmon's horses. The interior of the home is very comfortable but this is a place that you'll find peace and relaxation wandering the farm or taking in the sunset on the deck. A great alternative to a hotel or simply a wonderful place for a weekend getaway. The farm sits just Southwest of the town of Lillington and is 15 minutes from Campbell University and 20 minutes to Fort Bragg. Raven Rock State Park is within 10 minutes of the Farm. Great get-away with a chance to step back in time! We absolutely loved walking the property as well as the nearby state park, Raven Rock. Felt very at home and glad to experience the Salmon Farm

Perfect location

This was the perfect option for us as we visited family in the area. We felt right at home and the house was incredibly clean and very comfortable with everything we needed. We enjoyed just having coffee on the porch in the morning and viewing the beautiful scenery.

Terrific stay. Awesome older (but renovated) farmhouse. Super nice host.

Would certainly stay again. House had everything we needed for my wife and I and three adult children that stayed with us. Very clean and well kept. Property is located in an open, rural setting, but is only 10 minutes from Lillington where you can find all of what you might need: restaurants, grocery, etc. Owner was wonderful to work with.

We absolutely loved our stay at this farmhouse! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The farmhouse is full of history and charm, which made the experience even more special. It was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.The owner was amazing—so friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. You can truly tell they care about their guests and take pride in the property. We enjoyed learning about the history of the farmhouse and appreciated all of the thoughtful touches that made it feel warm and inviting.If you are looking for a peaceful, cozy place with character and wonderful hospitality, we highly recommend staying here. This property was a beautiful retreat for us! Our host, Darrell Salmon, was welcoming, friendly, helpful, and available. We really felt transported to a lovely, private, comfortable home with a gorgeous yard surrounded by horses on one side and farmland on the other. In the early morning, we heard songbirds, along with a hawk and woodpecker in the distance. We were delighted to be near Raven Rock State Park, where we enjoyed hiking to the impressive Raven Rock alongside the Cape Fear River. We hope to visit again very soon! Thanks very much, Darrell!

Family home

Beautiful home and beautiful property. But the best part were things you don’t see. You can feel the family history in this home, there is a warmth you feel just walking in. My daughter visited and mentioned it feels like grandma’s. Darryl our host was kind and attentive. Hope we get to come back soon. Highly recommended for a couple or small family.

Great property for cozy retreat

The property was well maintained and has a great location for anybody wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. A quiet and comfortable farm house with a great sunset view. 10/10 would recommend.

Family visit

From check in to check out everything was wonderful. Everything you need and more is available. Extremely clean. Family came by and were able to have dinner with us and loved the house and property. It was a great trip. Look forward to staying there again when we visit again.

Beautiful gem!

We absolutely love this property. Darrell the owner was very kind and responsive. The place was exactly as described, well actually better than describe! Made us feel right at home. We will definitely be staying here again when we come to see her grandson who lives near Fort Bragg.

Peaceful farmhouse

Quiet property on 60+ acres, nicely renovated and quite comfortable. Convenient for visiting family in the Ft Bragg area. Host very responsive. Highly recommended, will definitely return. The horses were a nice bonus!

Beautiful spot!

This is one of the best properties I have ever stayed in. A wonderful 100 yr old farm house on 60 beautiful acres. Nicely updated but still has the farm house feel. Darrell couldn’t be a more congenial host! I’d give it 10 stars if I could!

Will definitely stay again

This 101 year old farmhouse is perfect. It was so much nicer than staying in a hotel room. It’s so peaceful. And Mr. Salmon makes the whole process extremely easy. Just a wonderful place.
