We stayed at this heavenly haven in Montana for our fifth year in a row. This beautiful log home on 14 acres surrounded with mountain views continues to be our favorite family getaway spot for scenic serenity and reflective repose. The house is spacious, comfortable, immaculately clean, decorated with country art, and feels like home. The owner and his cleaning staff are welcoming, helpful, and very nice. If there was a rating of 5, I would use this to recommend Mountain Log Hideaway to people seeking both rest and recreation in the beautiful big sky country of western Montana. Thanks for keeping the rental price reasonable so we four teachers (I am retired) can enjoy this glorious location every year! :-)

This Mountain Log cabin is in a beautiful location and made for a relaxing long weekend. The cabin was as described in the listing - comfortable for everyone and had all the amenities we needed including the UNO card deck!

Excellent place to stay

We stay in multiple rentals a year, some trips for vacation and some for work. This house we have stayed in multiple times and each time is such a nice trip. The house has everything you need. The house cleaner/maintainer has the property perfectly put together and the owner is very friendly and quick to respond. My family loves this place to stay.

Love this place!

The setting, the house, the view all lend themselves to a peaceful, restful getaway. The only comment this time was the level of wasps/yellowjackets kept outdoor activity to a minimum. Also, one of the guests was stung. Other than that, we will be back next year.

Lovely lodge retreat

Property was spacious and easy to find. House was clean, open, spacious. Master bedroom and attached bathroom were amazing and set apart from the other 2 bedrooms. Overall and amazing stay and highly recommend.

Beautiful house

The location and views were wonderful. The house was clean, beautiful, and had everything we needed. Our only complaint is that the lighting in the bedrooms was pretty dark. We struggled to see.

Ryan’s log home was absolutely perfect for a large family vacation in Thompson Falls. I cannot say enough about the place. Everything about the place was wonderful. We would love to stay there again!!

Glorious, grand getaway

My three adult children and I stayed 3 nights at this glorious, grand getaway to celebrate my birthday. This beautiful log house on 14 scenic acres in a peaceful neighborhood is our favorite place in Montana and feels like HOME as soon as we walk through the door upon arrival. We appreciate that this house is always immaculately clean, is on one level and spacious, and is well-organized with beautiful country art and decor everywhere. The owner and cleaning people are welcoming, kind, helpful, and very thoughtful. The sunrise mountain view from the deck is stunning, and on our last night a double rainbow appeared. WOW!! The big log table on a covered part of the huge deck allows guests to eat or play cards outside in all weather conditions. Our rating on this glorious, grand getaway is a 5+.

Stunning Cabin Getaway

This home is absolutely stunning! Beautifully decorated cabin with gorgeous views and every amenity you could wish for. Our visit from FL and IL was to spend time with my dad and offer him the opportunity to meet his great grandchildren. We were able to share wonderful meals (using the Traeger Smoker and Blackstone) and lasting memories for 4 generations of family. Looking forward to a repeat visit in the future!

Beautiful, peaceful, convenient

What a perfect property! My aunt, my sister and myself met here for a get away visit. The owner gave perfect instructions and had the house warmed up for us. There was well seasoned fire wood so we enjoyed a cozy fire as we settled in. The beds and linens are comfortable, we each had our own bathroom and the master bath walk-in shower is perfect for older guests or anyone with mobility issues. The yard and views are gorgeous, I'd love to come back in summer and enjoy the deck more. The location is quiet and peaceful but you're only minutes to town if needed. We cooked for ourselves in the well appointed kitchen and enjoyed not having to go out for meals. Absolutely love this property and home and will be going back in summer to ebjoy it again!
