The apartment is very spacious at 205 square meters or 2200 square feet.
Only a 3 min walk to the main bus terminal and the main shopping/dining street Laugavegur.
Also a 5 minutes walk to a renovated swimming pool that has indoor and outdoor swimming, sauna and hot tubs.

Reykjavik Women’s Retrear

The flat was spacious and well equipped. The location was wonderful and parking was free and easy. Our host was helpful and very communicative. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Perfect for a large group

Excellent location, plenty of things in walking distance. Stocked with appliances, linens, games...everything you would need! Our large group had plenty of space.

Great apartment in Reykjavik

The apartment is great!! It is super clean, and has lots of space. Very comfortable furniture. It also has a full kitchen so you dont have eat out every night. The location is perfect!! It is in walking distance of tons of restaurants, site seeing locations and a supermarket. Also has tons of free parking rught outside the entrance. Definitely stay here if you are coming Reykjavik.

Great vibes for a family friendly stay!

Great hangout

This place worked out great for us. It’s a querky space that had plenty of space for 6 of us. Communication with Rúnar was easy. The location was nice - a generally quiet neighborhood, walking distance to the main part of town and quick access to the main roads when we needed to get out.

Great stay in the heart of the city.

We had a great time here, excellent location and spacious as all get out. Huge space to sit with family and eat after a long day exploring Reykjavik, comfortable bedrooms and all the amenities you could want in a city apartment. Close to cafe's, restaurants and sightseeing. Added bonus of grocery shopping and coffee shops mere steps away. Would highly recommend, will definitely return!

Convenient and great for families!

Loved the location- super close to the grocery store and easy walking all around the city. Plus free parking right out front! So nice to have this spacious place to come back to after a long day out and about.

Wonderful place to stay in Reykjavik!

We all loved this apartment, from the 7-year-old to the 65-year-old! It was clean, spacious, well located, and fun—it felt like a home. 10/10 would stay here again if I’m ever lucky enough to come back to Iceland.

Perfect location for large group

We were a group of 20 adult extended family members. Location was perfect, 5 -10 min walk from shopping and museums. A tour of RVK Brewery just up the road was a fun adventure. Easy parking. Would stay again.

Lots of space

Very close to town, very very spacious, parking right outside and a supermarket walking distance. Bathroom needs a spruce up and we kept windows open for some ventilation. Other than that, was a comfortable stay.

Great for larger groups

We stayed as a group of eight (3 couples, 1 single and 1 child) and this apartment was perfect for us. There is loads of space and the kitchen is very well equipped. About a 15 minute walk into the centre of Reykjavik and there was free parking too!

Fantastic stay in Reykjavik

We had a fantastic stay in Reykjavik. The apartment was walking distance to the city. Warm, comfortable, inviting , well equipped to self cater and easy parking. Great play to stay

Beautiful apartment in Reykjavik, spacious and welcoming and very comfortable. It is really convenient as it's well located so we walked everywhere. There's a shop on your doorstep for groceries, and you're not far from good restaurants etc. Communication with the host was excellent. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

An absolute treasure.

A beautifully -sized and -located flat near the center of the city. Everything has been considered; we had a 4 year old boy who was enchanted with the toys in the apartment. The space is comfortable and a wonderful gathering place for family and friends. Our group created many wonderful memories there. Runar is a fantastic host.

Family of 5- parents and adult children . The space was perfect with everything we needed, plenty of space, central location and walking distance from market and great pizza. Communication was helpful and timely. Thanks for a perfect intro to Iceland

Large and Convenient Apartment with good Vibes!

Traveling for the first time to Iceland, our group of six, fit perfectly into this older apartment. Our two teenagers really liked the "feel" of the place. There is only one shower, but that didn't really hinder us at all. Nice kitchen and dining area. Very close to a grocery store and a very short drive to shopping if you don't want to walk a few minutes. We also had one smoker in our group who was very thankful for the balcony! Felt safe and secure, and very thankful we could stay here.

A short stay

We only stayed for two nights but found the location good for the activities we did in Reykjavik. Questions about our stay were answered quickly both prior to our arrival and once at the apartment. It is a spacious apartment with eclectic decor and the kitchen is well stocked except there isn’t any freezer. People leave items which can be helpful but I think people would feel more comfortable using the items if dates were written as to when an item was left.

Exactly what we needed for a large group

Eight of us traveled to Iceland - four parents, and four of our kids, aged from 15 to 24 (two boys, two girls). The sheer size of the apartment was perfect. The boys shared a bedroom, the girls another, and the parents in the other two. We had PLENTY of space. The kitchen, cupboards and extra bathroom (toilet only, with external sink) kept people from arguing about inconveniences when getting ready, showering, or needing to go to the bathroom. We only used the kitchen for preparing coffee and washing things, but the fridge, countertop, large table, and pantry storage were utilized daily. The smart TV was great to decompress after some VERY long days. The apartment is one block away from Bonus, coffee shops and bakeries. We walked EVERYWHERE downtown - including restaurants and shopping - with almost everything in Reykjavik between 5 to 20 minutes away. Old Harbour was a longer walk, but we still did it. We only took a taxi once. The decor is eclectic and some things seem dated. The neighborhood seemed a little scary at first, but we got comfortable in the location very quickly. However, we all agreed that it was the perfect place for us at the perfect price and excellent location to the city. The free parking was a huge plus, and Runar was VERY responsive to any and all of my questions. He always immediately answered all of my questions before and during the trip. I highly recommend this location for a large family who wants to stay in Reykjavik.
