Luxurious Cabin with private Niangua River access & view

This luxurious and secluded cabin lies in the middle of 75 private acres. The cabin sits atop a majestic Ozark bluff with an extraordinary view. This rustically finished cabin is great for 1-2 families or a group of friends on vacation together. This completely private getaway includes two full bedrooms with king beds, a sleeping loft with two twin size beds, two full size beds, and 2 full twin size cots with 5 “ memory foam mattress + linens. Cave Creek has an open floor plan, a wood fire place and a screened in front porch that allows you to see for miles.

Firewood is provided for the indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit. In addition, satellite TV is included (DISH network) along with a selection of DVDs.

The kitchen is fully equipped and great for gathering and visiting. New coffee bar(2023)!!

This property is only 5 miles away from the nationally renowned Bennett Springs State Park. Relax by the fire pit or enjoy a day at the river. This property comes with Niangua River access and PRIVATE gravel bar for our guests. One can enjoy fishing, hiking, picnicking, swimming and fun in the sun. With our property only minutes away from the State Park, you will be able to enjoy a day of trout fishing or book a float trip on the Niangua River with friends or family.

Effective with all new bookings August 25, 2025 forward, we will no longer host PETS.

The Niangua River is a spring feed and is absolutely beautiful. Have a special event coming up? Family vacation, anniversary, birthday celebration, friends getaway, honeymoon, fishing excursion, holiday get together, and so much more....

Harris family weekend

We had a great stay even though river was out of banks and lots of rain. But with 3 teen age girls & 2 couples,2 uncles and one grandpa I’m glad we brought air mattress. The place was unbelievably clean. all of us can’t wait to go back.

Summer Vacay

Spent a nice, relaxing few days at this cabin with friends. We loved the peaceful surroundings. The cabin is comfortable and clean. The kitchen has all necessities. A 4-wheel drive vehicle is recommended for river access. The owner provided us all necessary information.

Amazing cabin in the woods

This was our third trip to this very inviting cabin in the woods. The cabin itself is clean and fully stocked with your basic necessities. The hike down and up from the river isn’t for the faint of heart but so worth it. The river is peaceful and in the three years we’ve been coming we’ve seen two people kayaking down the river. Our teenage kids spend hours catching crawdads and building minnow forts in the rocks. We come back every year because it’s remote, very little wifi and where we can take our teenagers to act like kids again. Highly recommend this little peace of paradise.

Cave Creek Cabin is EXCELLENT!

We have vacationed here for 12 years and absolutely LOVE it! The owners are so accommodating. The private river access is amazing. We recommend it to friends all the time. We'll be back again next summer!

Remote with river access

What an awesome place! We loved everything about our stay. Very clean and neat cabin with having river access made for great fun. Definitely need AWD/4x4 for the river access. The cabin is very remote and was fun for us to drive to. We would definitely stay again!

Old Guys at Cave Creek

3rd or 4th stay for aging group of fly fishermen during winter catch and release. Plenty of room, porch is great place for equipment, rods waders,etc. Fun around the firepit. Plenty of kitchen dining lounge space.

Loved it!

This cabin was perfect for our family. If you're looking for a secluded cozy get away this is it. It ended up being cold and rainy while we were there and this place took relaxing with a movie by the fire to a whole new level. We will definitely be back!

We had such a delightful time! It’s so close to Bennet and still very remote and private. Only neighbors we heard were cows mooing. We will definitely be back. Host was so gracious at check in. Thank you for everything.

Family Float Trip

Every year we meet and stay at a new place for our annual Family Float Trip. The cabin was very secluded. We loved that! The fire pit, chairs and screened porch were perfect. Everything that was needed was already in the cabin. EX: coffee, creamer, blankets, pillows etc. The gravel road to get there was very steep and hard to navigate at dusk but was well worth it!

Great secluded cabin!

We had a great stay for nine people. The cabin is super secluded and very spacious. There was some competition in using the one bathroom, but we managed that well. It was the perfect getaway for a couple of days and we would definitely book here again if we do another float trip at some point. We had one issue with the cabin (out of the owner's control) and the owner made sure to get it remedied in a quick fashion. Great and friendly communication!

Fun time floating

We stayed here to go floating on Niangua. The house was very nice. Clean and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed it. The only thing that I would suggest is that the description doesn't describe the drive. It is a very rough road. We have Explorer and was fine. Wouldn't want to take a reg car on it.

Fantastic cabin in the woods!

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. The owners did a great job of providing us a fully stocked cabin with all the essentials. We had a group of 9 (4 adults and 5 teens) and we all fit very comfortably. The shed on the side of the cabin had chairs and rafts which really helped us enjoy the river just a short walk from the cabin. The fire pit had ample seating around it with plenty of fire wood provided by the owner. It was such a fun and relaxing stay that on our last night we went ahead and booked for next year. If you are looking for a secluded, stocked cabin that’s close to a river then look no further. This is a little piece of paradise and we can’t wait to come back next year!

No river access

Cabin was nice, but the description of the private gravel bar access was deceiving. Property owner told us once we arrived that they were working on the road to river but it was just a short hike to river. It was not a short hike, but a steep downhill slop. I never even made it to the bottom. There was no way my mother or kids could have gotten up and down the road to the river, especially trying to carry anything. It was quite disappointing, as that was the main reason for booking this rental. We wanted to be close to the river. Nice house but needs to change description on river access. There was none

Very Nice Place

The description was very accurate and the property manager was very easy to communicate with. The property is secluded and beautiful and the cabin was clean and roomy with plenty of sleeping arrangements. Only a few things we had "issues" with were the lighting could be improved inside the cabin, the road down to the river was pretty rough but in all fairness they had just gotten a LOT of rain, and the neighbor needs a better fence to keep his cows in. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

Very nice and clean cabin, but 1 bathroom and no so close to the river

We really loved it, very clean and comfortable -except there is only 1 bathroom- so despite having 12 beds, it is not practical for a large group. The river is not so close, so there is no river view. Road to the river was temporary closed to vehicles (Important: only 4x4 vehicles can take this road as it is really steep), so walking there was not easy. Again, we loved it but wanted to highlight the cons to be fair.
