Take a break and enjoy breathtaking sunsets at the original Sunsets by the Bay cottage that began the Sunsets by the Bay Vacation Rentals group.



This cottage is conveniently located along the shores of Lake Erie with an "upper" and "lower" lake level beach, meaning you always have a sandy beach overlooking the lake. This cottage is perfect for couples, friends or families looking to relax by the lake.



Sunsets by the Bay will captivate you with its true cottage feel with wooden walls. From the refinished original wood floors, to the original wood walls, you will feel the true cottage comfort.

The house is equipped with everything you need, including a full kitchen, 2 beautifully updated bathrooms and a washer and dryer.

Amazing stay in Leamington/Point Pelee

My family stayed here and it was just what we needed! Minutes to Point Pelee, right on the waterfront. We had enough room for 3 couples and 2 children. The place was clean, cozy, and the hosts left very thoughtful touches. Couldn't have asked for better accommodations for our stay! Thanks again, Gabriella!

Amazing cottage! Our family had one of the best vacations so far at Sunsets by the bay. Great location. House stocked with everything you need and more. Gabriella was fantastic and got back to us right away . 11/10 experience! Already booked again for next year! My 3 year old didn't want to leave! Thanks again for an incredible stay!

Beautiful Sunsets by the Bay!

The cottage was beautiful, the sunsets were gorgeous, and the area is spectacular! Lots to see and do … yes, we walked to Pelee Point, the southern most lpoint of mainland Canada. Canada is such a beautiful country and we need to be reminded of this, at times. We had a wonderful time, the weather cooperated, and we’ll be back.

Lovely home

We stayed in this fully equipped home this week. Kitchen has well appointed top quality kitchen ware. Beautiful view from inside and on the raised sitting area. Large trees provide plenty of shade. I would recommend this to anyone. Susan July 18 2026

Better than we ever expected…and we had toured it earlier!

handy to everything….especially the Point Pelee National Park…. Very comfortable and “homey”…not like most rentals Owner seemed to anticipate our every need or question The name says it all….fabulous “Sunsets by the Bay” almost every night You won’t regret any moment of your stay

This cottage is just down the street from the entrance to Point Pelee National Park, one of the premiere birding locations in Canada. The cottage is on the south coast of Canada, along the north coast of Lake Erie, where beautiful sunsets are a regular occurence. The host, Gabriella, pays attention to detail and the cottage is clean with well appointed conveniences. There is parking for three vehicles. It's also down the street from a prominent birding optics store called, Pelee Wings! There are two fully equipped washrooms, with one as an ensuite to the master bedroom. Sitting at the beachfront on the Adirondack/Muskoka style chairs for our morning coffee was a wonderfully peaceful and breezy start to the day. We were there for 9 days and will definitely return for more!

This was a perfect place to spend a few days. A great place to get together with family. Very conveniently located to Point Pelee. Beautiful sunsets! Greatly equipped kitchen too!

Scenic, serene and wonderful stay

The property is immaculate, the view is epic and we had a wonderful stay over the weekend. Gabriella was lovely to communicate with. Honestly, one of the most beautiful and well organized stays i've ever been on! Cant wait to go back again!

Lovely cottage

We had a great stay here and the bon fire pit out back was awesome. Lots of activities in the area for all ages. We had family staying at another cottage down the road and they preferred to come here because of the cozy feel!

Perfect, comfortable location

We are repeat visitors at Sunsets by the Bay. It is an excellent location for bird watching at Pointe Pelee. The house is clean and comfortable and Gabriella is a friendly and responsive host. We will definitely book again!

Wonderful stay

This property is beautiful and was impeccably clean. Very convenient to Leamington and the neighborhood to s very quiet. The back yard is gorgeous and sits right on Lake Erie. The beds were very comfortable and the showers are some of the best I’ve been in. Gabriella was very responsive and kind.

Excellent Cottage

My family met here for a family get together and we enjoyed the comfy vibes and beautiful lake view of Lake Eerie. The home was very clean and the whole process of checking in and out was super easy. We are so grateful for the time we spent here with our family. Definitely will be back ❤️🙏

Family trip

The three of us enjoyed 2 wonderful days at Waterfront Oasis. We were out exploring most of the time but when in the cottage we enjoyed watching the birds through the large windows, sitting by the lake and by the fire in the fire pit at night and talking around the big table. Very cozy.

This location has beautiful views of the sunsets on the shore of Lake Erie. So close to Point Pelee and other attractions in Leamington and Kingsville. The home is so well appointed we really enjoy our time here. You will not be disappointed.

Sunset

We stayed for 2 nights at this wonderful location. We really lucked out with the weather for this time of year. We took advantage of the local sights and wineries and then would return to the house to watch the sunset and have a fire. A very enjoyable experience and our host was very accommodating

That lead to the first rental, Sunsets by the Bay. After a year of meeting some wonderful people, I purchased my second property. I continue to grow my love for welcoming others into Leamington by managing others lakefront properties. I love hearing what brings guests into Leamington, and helping them to choose some adventures while they're in town. Book with me and see the difference!
