Large cabin in Sky Valley community is nestled in standing hardwood and evergreen setting, offering wonderful seclusion when you retire to your vacation home after a busy day at the Resort area. Private, sandy beach and nice fishing shoreline a stroll from the cabin or drive and park in the provided parking space. An evening stroll along the private gravel roads is sure to provide some memorable discussions and sights. Nothing beats a good night's sleep after a day at the lake - retire to the brand new, high quality King bed! Indoor activities include ping pong, a variety of board games, and a large collection of movies for those rainy day! Great room includes a kitchen overlooking the dining table and living room. Family memories waiting to be made here!

Nice house for a weekend stay

The house was a perfect size for our extended family of 10. We stayed for a long weekend to celebrate a family wedding in nearby Oakland, MD. The decor was definitely dated, but it added to the charm of the place. The lighting in some of the rooms (especially the large upstairs bedroom) could be improved; even with the shades open during the day, it always felt dark.

Getaway

Upstairs master shower only produced cold water. Even when others were not in use. The lake access log cabin is a little misleading since the lake is a bit more of a walk than expected. Overall we had a nice time.

Lovely getaway

Lovely home in the woods. We enjoyed our stay and had plenty of space. Furnishings a bit outdated, but for us it added to the charm. Lake is a bit more of a walk than we expected, especially if you have small children. We ended up driving down, very short car ride. We would have liked more outdoor seating options on the beautiful deck. Property Manager was excellent to work with. Thank you - we would stay again :)
