View was spectacular! Place was very clean and comfortable. Beds were comfy, even the bottom of the bunk. Stocked kitchen for cooking. Parking a bit difficult due to incline and walk up the hill to entrance door is tough. Was nice that you could use sliding patio door right by driveway once your in for bringing in luggage. Every room, except bathroom, has the great view . Would definitely stay and recommend

The view from Hawk’s Nest is spectacular!! We watched Wind Sports on the water most days, the sky & occasional clouds made such a beautiful backdrop. The place has everything you need and was comfy. It would work well for a small family. There is a rather steep driveway but it’s not where you park, so it was easy enough to carry things from the lower patio where you park. You’ll find plenty to do & see in Hood River and Mosier. Wonderful for wine lovers.

Great view and great house! We enjoyed everything about staying at Hawks Nest from check-in to check-out. The check-in email and instructions in the house answered all of our questions and the house was as advertised meaning we only messaged the owners when we checked out. The house was extremely clean, had everything we needed, seemed newly renovated and is well laid out as a vacation rental. We enjoyed both outdoor spaces (one on each level), the gas grill and the location is perfect for visiting Ainsworth State Park, Hood River, Lost Lake and Mt Hood. Once checked out we also visited Mt St Helens. We would stay at Hawks Nest again!

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay! This place is wonderful: - amazing views of the Gorge, - great house configuration: living space is upstairs and bedrooms are downstairs,- very clean,- a beautiful hike a few minute walk from the house!We would rent this place again without hesitation!

We stayed here for about a week over the 4th of July. Couldn’t have asked for a better location! The view was amazing, the nearby cherry farms were superb and the wind was great for kite-boarding. Can’t wait to come back!

We love the house and guest house, it is great for large groups. We have visited multiple times and we will be back to enjoy the view. Love the nearby hiking and swimming hole.

The rental has everything you need and a beautiful view in a wonderful location. We had a slight problem with check-in, but the owner rectified it quickly.
