Our beautiful and spacious townhouse is located across the street from Siesta Key Beach. How close is the beach? The condo/townhouses complex is on Beach Rd. You only need to go across Beach Rd and walk across the open space public parking, and you will be at the beach. Siesta Key Beach is voted #1 beach in the world, and is known for its white, fine, powdery quartz sand and amazing sunsets. The famous Siesta Key drum circle occur every Sunday 1 to 2 hours before sunset.
All brand new flooring in the unit were installed Fall 2017.. Kitchen were updated with all new appliances in 2018. Freshly painted in 2019. Our spacious second floor unit is approximately 1400 sq ft. It has a large living room with high ceilings that makes it feel homey. The living room has a floor to ceiling sliding glass door that open to a large balcony with outdoor seating areas that overlooks the emerald green lake, home to some local turtles.
The elevated formal dining room comfortably seats 6 and has a brand new wood looking porcelain tile floor.
The master bedroom also has high ceilings and floor to ceiling sliding glass doors to the balcony that overlooks the lake. The master bedroom has a king size bed, new carpets, and a huge walk in closets. The master bath has recently been remodeled with stone tile, walk in shower, granite vanity sink, granite powder room vanity.
The second bedroom has 2 twin beds that can be combined into a king bed. The second bath is located next to the second bedroom has been remodeled and updated with stone tile & granite vanity sink.
The fully equipped eat in kitchen has brand new wood looking porcelain floor, and fully stocked with almost everything that you may need. The unit also offers a laundry closet with a stackable washer/dryer.
The townhome includes a private one car garage (with garage door opener) that is located right below the unit. We provide some beach chairs and beach toys in the garage for your use.
Our House At The Beach offers a large heated pool, two tennis courts, large open gazebo with tables/chairs and a grill.
This is a non-smoking unit. Smoking permitted on the two outside balconies only.
The condo has all the towels, linens, beach towels, beach toys, cooler, 10x10 shade, stroller to brings everything to the beach.

The property was not as clean as expected. We had a few issues that we didn’t like. However, Annie, the host, was very understanding and helpful. She responded to all our complaints and made us feel comfortable and valued.

The Livingroom furniture was old and musty smelling; it was not the furniture that was in the Vrbo picture. there was no toilet paper, we had to find a store open on Easter to buy it.The beach chairs and wagons were broken and rusty, and the sheets on one bed were torn. the property is in a great location with the beach and village within walking distance.

Great place to stay in Siesta Key

We loved the location and the amenities. This is a second floor unit so be prepared for steps. The unit is spacious and well stocked.

The location is superb!

Annie is super responsive to all of our inquiries. The kitchen is well stocked. We really enjoyed our daily strolls on Siesta Beach while staying there. We’d love to return next year.

The location and condo were great and comfortable. Walking distance from the beach. No complaints what so ever! Owner was prompt in responding when an issue arose. Would definitely stay there again.

Great Stay!

The condo was much more spacious than we expected. We were all very comfortable! Directly across the street from the public beach is a huge plus! And, it is only a 20 minute walk from the village. We enjoyed using the bike to get around too! Lots of stuff included in the garage (beach chairs, umbrella, mats, toys, etc.). The property manager was amazing! Super quick to respond, and flexible with our check-in and check-out as it revolved around our flights. I really appreciated that and would definitely come back again!

Clean but confusing.

Condo was clean and as described. Check in was a little confusing, but figured that out. We were also told to pick up a parking pass in the office for our extra vehicle, but had a difficult time catching someone in the office which made parking confusing as well. Overall we did enjoy our stay.

Snowbird rental

We stayed at this property the month of February 2023. The condo is in an excellent location with close proximity to the beach. We liked the fact that we could park our vehicle and use the trolley to go to the village. The pictures of the furnishings did not do it justice. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and cookware. The only negative comment would be that the master bathroom was a little small, and they could use a few extra beach towels, as there were only two or three there. Overall, it is a wonderful place to stay, and we would have rented it again next year if it had not already been rented when we got there.

Wonderful place overall

The property itself was absolutely perfect for a young family. We couldn’t fit our SUV in the garage but I didn’t care because we learned our sandy beach car in there everyday instead and it worked out great. A couple of things, 1) Make sure you have a big wheel beach car because the sand is deep and the water is FAR away. 2) Forget the public across from you unless you want an episode of Jerry Springer and people all over you. Instead go about .5 miles down to public beach access 11 and head in there. It’s a little further walk and the water is still a long way away but believe me it is worth it. Overall great place and awesome space for a young family to give everyone a little privacy.

Paradise

When we arrived there was no toilet paper, paper towels, or clean towels. We went out and purchased the things we really needed so that was ok. On the third day of our vacation, these necessities were provided to us. The most serious issue is in the guest bedroom and the main balcony door in the living room. The door does not lock. The bed was so uncomfortable that my husband got 2 nights sleep. The springs are coming through the mattress. We added the topper from the master bedroom with little help. We absolutely love Siesta Key and we would definitely recommend your property. Just a few issues to be dealt with, but a beautiful home.

Few problems

Didn’t get code to get in from owner until we got there. Place was clean. None of the sliding doors were opening, my husband tried to put the one back on track so we could open it. To go out on deck. It was hot in there all week. We asked if we could put the air higher and she only said by one digit.. And the item in the garage were full of sand and thrown there. And the TV in the bedroom did not work. Notified the owner of all of these. She said she will get them fixed but not fixed when we left. Otherwise The Place was nice

Vacation

The condo wasn't cleaned proir to our stay. We checked in at 4:30. Only to be told that the cleaners couldn't be there until tomorrow or even Monday. So we decide to clean it. The owner did refund some money for us cleaning the condo. We did not want to stay at a place unless it was clean, and we did not want to go to a hotel. There is a outlet plug that has the cover off it, the spare bathroom light switch is real loose. The pocket doors on master bedroom area, do not work, there is a curtain for the shower- toilet area instead. The dishwasher does not work right, does not drain correctly. When we cleaned the condo, the shower turned on and would not turn off, the valve in the diverter was bad. So we went to lowes and bought a new valve, then fixed it. Water had to be turned off while doing this, this delayed our cleaning of condo for at least 2 hours. Except for our first day, we enjoyed our stay, it is a good location to the beach. This was our 2nd stay at the condo, just wish they would fix the little things wrong at the condo. (Outlets where bad last year, and switch, and there is a step tile loose.)

Nice place, great location! Maybe warn guests about the height of the garage. I don’t think a normal SUV would fit in the garage. I wasn’t real happy that VRBO charged my credit card the 1,500 deposit almost two months before our trip instead of making it a pending charge while we were there.

I love Sarasota. If there is any where I want to live, I want to be on Siesta Key. I like to go to the Siesta Key beach without worrying about parking. I like the idea of walking across the street to the beach. In addition, most of the condos in these price range on Siesta Key feel older and cramped. I love the high ceiling townhouse. This place actually feels like home and is comfy.
