Beautiful Cottage With Sandy Beach Located On Big Glen Lake's South Side.

A great vacation cottage located on Big Glen Lake's south side sandbar by the Narrows. The cottage consists of a main house and a four car garage with three bedrooms and two baths (Towers). Off the back of the house is a large two level deck with the most spectacular views of Big Glen Lake and Alligator Hill. There is a boat house down by the beach fully stocked with kayaks, paddleboards, life jackets, and many different kinds of toys for all ages. There is also a paddleboat and a boat mooring.

The main house has three bedrooms and two half baths (one is a shower and one is a toilet/sink in the two twin bedroom). There is a master bedroom with a queen bed, tons of closet space, and a master bath with a shower, oversized tub, and two sinks. The second bedroom has two twin beds with a half bath. The third bedroom has a bunk-beds with a trundle bed) Also in the main house is a living room, sunroom, kitchen, and dining area. Kitchen has built in appliances including a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, and a trash compactor. In the basement is a washer and a dryer with a second refrigerator. There is a shower off of the kitchen and a full bath in the hallway, There are plenty of beach towels in the hallway closet.

Above the garage (Towers) there are three queen bedrooms and two full baths. There is another washer and dryer in the towers. In front of the garage is parking for four vehicles and the driveway can accommodate an additional three vehicles.

The property has 185' frontage and the water is perfect for small children. You can wade out in the clearest of water all the way to the Narrows, approximately 400 feet, where you will find one of the most popular spots on the lake. The dock is brand new and there is beautiful sandy beach as well as a large lawn area for people to relax by the water. Of course no beach would be complete without a nice fire pit to roast those marshmallows.

As this cottage is open all year it is also an excellent rental for hunters, snowmobilers, and skiers.(

Great location and something fun for everyone!

Great vacation for our family gathering of 12 including 4 children. Close proximity to Sleeping Bear Dune and the town of Glen Arbor, only a half hour away from Traverse City, there was lots of fun to be had nearby. Could actually enjoy the week without ever leaving the house though. Enough boats, floats, and toys in the shed to keep everyone occupied during the day and a fire pit with stocked firewood to enjoy the cool evenings as the sun set. Comfortable, clean, home stocked with everything you could possibly need. Plenty of parking. My only caution is that there is no AC. Most of our week it wasn’t needed but the heat and humidity were an unwelcome surprise at times.

Usually the temperatures are as such that the ceiling fans and standup fans provided are enough to keep the buildings cool but understand that ac would be a nice feature. Best Summer Ever!

Since 1991 my family has stayed in many homes around the two lakes and this was the best home by far. The comfort level was fabulous, the home , the grounds, the amenities were A+. We hope to try and rent this next summer.

Terrific accomodations

We have stayed in the area for many years and this is an outstanding property. The house and grounds are immaculate, has lots of room and worked very well for our extended family. The separate towers bed and bath area was terrific. The house is very well equipped, lots of comfortable seating on the deck and a huge lawn for outdoor games. As an added bonus, the owner provided tons of beach and water toys. Glen Lake is gorgeous and we thoroughly enjoyed our time and look forward to returning in 2020.

Amazing rental!

Our family has been going to Glen Lake for 20+ years and this was the best rental property we have ever stayed at! It is equipped with everything imaginable, very clean, wonderful location, and just an overall excellent site to rent. I would highly recommend this property to any large group looking for a vacation property.

Great vacation spot!

We loved our stay. The house was very roomy and well-equipped. The rooms above the garage were lovely and exceeded our expectations. The outside was so inviting - great deck, huge yard, large beach with fire pit, huge dock and great outside/water toys. Jim was very easy to work with.

Beautiful and well equipped property.

We spent a week at the property and loved it. Excellent location on lake with shallow access which is great for children. Plenty of room in houses which are very clean and well equipped. Lots of equipment for activities.

Spacious and well-equipped lake home with a huge deck, lawn, and sandy beach.

My wife and I, our three children, their spouses and our six grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We spent time swimming, kayaking, playing frisbee golf, and enjoying the beautiful view from the deck. This home is ideal for a family vacation. It exceeded our expectations in every way. I could not recommend more highly.

Outstanding location, extremely clean main house and tower; simply the best it could be!

Took my wife, kids and their families up to celebrate my wife’s retirement from teaching. I booked this online back in November, feeling it had enough size and location for 7 of us. I was correct! Lots of room to gather and lots of room for privacy! We have been to Glen Lake numerous times over the last 25 years. Have to say, this was the best! Fantastic house, everything one would ever need (and then some), extremely clean, nice private beach and dock, WOULD LOVE TO COME BACK WITH THE FAMILY SOON!
