Birch Cabin at Columbia Mountain Ranch❤

Located at the base of Columbia Mountain our Cabins are only minutes from Glacier National Park, Whitefish Mountain Resort, Flathead lake and many other destinations in the Flathead Valley.

This rustic cabin comfortably accommodates 4 guests, Men's and Women's showers and rest rooms are located across the foot bridge in the main service building as the cabins do not have plumbing.

The cabin is equipped with a small kitchenette (2026 glass dishes shown in photos will be replaced with disposable) and a Traeger pellet grill on the covered deck.


All cabins have heat and A/C

Come enjoy your stay on our peaceful property, wander, fish in the pond, kayak, paddle board, corn hole, volleyball and make wonderful memories!

Fantastic stay! The description was on point. Our cabin had two beds and a pull out couch. We don’t mind the short walk to use the very clean bathroom! Even at night the path was well lit. John came by when he saw us out to make sure we were having a good stay and if there was anything we needed or could do better. After long days of hiking the kids were able to keep going and there were plenty of things for them to do. Paddle boarding, kayaking, volleyball etc. highly recommend for anyone that wants a quiet outdoor stay with a short drive to the park.

I had booked this as a quick stay the night before hitting glacier and we all wished we were staying longer! It was very peaceful. A beautiful and fun place to stay!

Enjoyed our family stay

The kids loved all the open space to run around and play. We cooked our meals on the Trager on the porch and were able to keep an eye on the littles at the same time. The scenery was beautiful and it was just a short trip to the Park entrance.

Great vacation location

Very clean cabin, friendly owner on-site; restaurants, gas, and groceries close by. We also enjoyed walking around the pond and a game of corn hole. We hope to go back one day!

Charming location!!

Birch Cabin was quaint and exacting what our family was looking for our quick weekend get away. Hosts were very welcoming and the place was well organized and tidy. We definitely plan on returning in the future!

Great stay

The cabins were well decorated and comfortable. John greeted us right away. He was very friendly and made us feel welcome. There’s lots for kids to do on the property.

Beautiful scenic cabin

Stayed 4 nights and could have stayed forever. Wonder quiet get a way. Owners are amazing and take care of everyone. Would recommend!

Amazing place!

Me and my friends had a great stay. The surrounding property is so pretty with a nice pond to hammock or canoe on, neighborhood pups, and gorgeous mountains. We were welcomed right away when pulling up. The cabin and community building has everything you’d need! Would absolutely stay again :)

Cozy cabin

Cabin was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Appreciated the AC. Although I didn’t mind the shared showers and bathroom, the lighting in the shower needs an upgrade and the showers could use a good scrub.

Amazing stay and location

Very close to Glacier park and Columbia falls (the town). The cabin beds (2 of them in their separate rooms) are very very comfortable . The property is very well kept, private, and beautiful. The owner (Mr. john) is incredibly friendly and hard working. The bathrooms are kept very clean and there are always clean towels available.
