We had the most fantastic stay. Alain was the perfect host. The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. The pool is a great size and we enjoyed lounging by the pool. The children loved watching the chickens and playing in the garden. It felt very homely and we can’t wait to go back there one day!

Great Stay

Perfect holiday house

The house is beautiful, set in large gardens which were fun for my family to explore and play in. It felt like a home from home, comfy beds and a well equipped house, allowed us to relax and enjoy our holiday. Alain was so helpful and accommodating. The nearby towns of Rochefort and La Gacilly are lovely to explore and there are plenty of good beaches only 30-40 minutes away.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Lovely hosts, beautyful countryside and a funny chicken. All was very clean. Kids loved the pool and the boat. Everthing was there you need for a longer stay including a grill. One very (!) small drop of water in the wine: my mattress was a bit saggingSo what should I say further? We will come back.

Summer Holiday Sep 2023

This house has it all - comfortable, quiet, spotlessly clean and ideally located with everything you need. The presentation of the house could not be faulted, fresh and bright decoration throughout, stylish and comfortable furnishings and a modern kitchen. We were immediately made to feel welcome with cider and cake. The garden is gorgeous and ideal for sitting in the sun, eating alfresco with the added advantage of a private pool when temperatures are high. The surrounding area has numerous locations to visit along with some excellent restaurants. Alain was amazing and went above and beyond : providing us with a friendly welcome, recommendations, providing fresh produce from the garden and communication was great throughout. We would not hesitate to return there in the future and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Lovely location peaceful and quiet, without being remote. House with a 'wow' factor

Nice 4 day break, house as described by a peaceful river, close to Peillac village (approx. 5 minute drive) and Rochefort en Terre (awarded village of the year 2016, approx. 10 min drive).. our trip was beginning of October.. Alain was helpful and pleasant a good host.. the house is well presented, clean and well equipped, impressive living space with wood pellet heater, modern kitchen, 2 good shower rooms and 4 bedrooms (linen and towels provided clean and fresh).. Internet is a hit and miss affair but not important to us, so no problem.. we were left to our own devices no interference, and no rush to be out by a certain time.. 5 out of 5 is fair and honest, have a good time ..

Gîte très confortable et cosy. Équipement complet. On se sent chez soi. Emplacement calme et à l’écart, en pleine campagne, mais en même temps à proximité de bien des sites d’intérêt. Propriétaires accueillants et attentionnés. Tout à fait recommandable.

Fantastich!!!Prachtig huis met grote, natuurlijke tuin. Loslopende kippetjes en katten vonden wij geweldig leuk. Dat past prima in de relaxte sfeer van de tuin. Host Alain is de perfecte gastheer, vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam, met respect voor onze privacy!! Je kunt geen betere wensen! De bedden waren comfortabel. Het huis is zeer sfeervol en duidelijk met veel zorg en aandacht ingericht. Zeer compleet, alles wat je kunt wensen is aanwezig. Wij voelden ons volledig ontzorgt daar. In deze erg warme week was airco wel fijn geweest maar er waren ventilators aanwezig en het huis was redelijk koel te houden. Het zwembad met ligbedden is heerlijk rustig en ook weer super schoon. Fijne verkoeling en schaduw onder de grote bomen. In de tuin aan het water een paar mooie zitjes met ligbedden. Wifi werkt prima!Leuke dorpjes met winkels en supermarkt op 10 min rijden. Topvakantie gehad hier, we komen zeker terug!!

Absolutely gorgeous accommodation. Great hosts - very welcoming but gave us space. Wonderful pool in lovely gardens. Lots to do in the area. We really loved our week here and hope to return!

Nous avons eu un super accueil, le cadre est magnifique et nous avons pu en profiter grâce au beau temps. Tout était très bien. Y compris la petite balade à la Gacilly qui n’est pas très loin. À refaire.

Vacances morbihannaises

Dans une région qui nous était inconnue, nous avons été reçus avec une très grande gentillesse par nos hôtes. Le cadre est parfait, le bruit de la rivière relaxant. Le gîte se trouve au milieu de pleins d'endroit à découvrir (golfe du Morbihan, Guérande, fôret de Brocéliande, Rennes ...). Je n'ai que du bien à en dire.

Phantastisches Haus in einem wunderschönen Garten

Wir haben die Woche sehr genossen. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Der Garten ist mit dem Pool und dem kleinen Weiher sehr idyllisch und großzügig. In ein paar Minuten ist man in Peillac, dort gibt es alles für den täglichen Bedarf. Vielen Dank an die Gastgeber Alain und Olivier. Wir können dieses Haus wärmstens empfehlen.

Un lieu paisible, vivant et accueillant

Nous avons été très bien accueilli par nos hôtes, très disponibles et à l'écoute de nos demandes. Le gite est reposant et bien conçu, la piscine est un plus pour se rafraichir en été. Nombreuses choses à voir dans les environs en prenant la voiture (villages de caractère, ...) Facturation Abritel un peu compliquée...

Great stay in the countryside of Bretagne

We enjoyed very much the green surrounding, the pool, the puddling, the house, etc. The house was very clean and stylish with all the basic needs covered. Some beautiful character villages are very close. Thanks to Alain for all the explanations and guidance, he was always there for us!

Entspannte Tage

Wir waren mit 2 Familien in dem schönen Haus. Die Fotos geben das Objekt selbst gut wieder. Toll war das riesige Areal, das wir nutzen konnten. Angeln am Flüsschen, planschen im Pool, in der Hängematte unterm Apfelbaum die Seele baumeln lassen! Die 4 Hühner und die Katze, die regelmässig zu uns an den Frühstückstisch kamen, haben wir schnell ins Herz geschlossen...Danke an Alain, den freundlichen und unkomplizierten Vermieter, wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Heide N.
