Just minutes from the interstate, you will leave behind all the stress and hustle when you arrive. 180 Boat Drive is a cozy 2/1 chalet located in a cul de sac water front peninsula. Gorgeous views from dock and house, sitting porch spanning the entire back of home facing the water and outdoors. Enjoy the fire pit with firewood and gazebo outfitted with a hammock, porch swing, and a jacuzzi. Spend time fishing, swimming and sunbathing from the dock or set sail in kayaks, canoes or paddleboards. Play volleyball, badminton, cornhole, or horseshoes. Min 2 night stay.

6-week Retreat

Just me and my 2 dogs. Though it was considered “not normal” winter weather while I was there I was fine to be missing the central NY state weather back home. And for me it was just what the dr ordered. I enjoyed the quietness and serenity of the surroundings…. the lake. One of the best parts about it for me (besides the hot tub!) was that it’s totally dog friendly, inside and out. Any minor issues that happened to come up during my 6 week stay were quickly tended to as April is very quick to respond to messages. I became so comfortable during my time there that I strongly considered extending my stay. But will definitely look into returning in the future. Thank you April!

The house was great and the lake view was wonderful and relaxing. They have everything you need including sports equipment and fishing poles!

right at the river

there's little kayaks and a paddle boat, and porch that overlooks it all. completely fenced and great for dogs. while the power was out, the owner brought an RV over so I had electric, internet etc great people

A hidden gem

The home is beautiful and well kept. The view of the lake is beautiful. Quiet neighborhood. Everything we needed for a short getaway from the stress of life. This home was more than we had hoped for. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Absolutely amazing

I stayed a lengthy 2 weeks and the owner was absolutely wonderful! She asked about the lawn being mowed and had it done the same day. The house was graciously supplied with many extras and indoor and outdoor games. I look to make this my return in the winter and again in the summer. Absolutely lovely home!

Quiet, Relaxing Paradise

This is our second summer staying at this location. We were so happy to come back to the clean, quiet place again. I can’t say enough about the fact these property owners have thought of everything to make an enjoyable trip. Things we love the most are fenced yard, hot tub, private dock, stocked house with all the comforts of home. Our teen loves being able to fish on the dock or kayaks. The new peddle boat was a fun addition. We like exploring near by areas and have found lots to do within 30 minutes. Can’t wait for next year!

This was a clean and beautiful property. It was very quiet and private. There were numerous activities to do on the property/on the lake. The communication between the property owners and myself was excellent. I would love to get the chance to stay here again!

Great Stay

Loved the set up. Definitely a great place if you have a dog to let them run around. Beautiful water-just hate we didn't have time to put the kayaks in. Would recommend and stay here again. Side Note: The workers at local stores were all very friendly and helpful. I'm from the south but felt like I received "true" southern hospitality everywhere we went. :)

Peaceful

Quiet retreat surrounded by trees with a beautiful view of the lake from the large back porch. Inside there is a cozy and roomy couch, a fully equipped kitchen and everything you need for family getaway.

Relaxing

This was our second time staying, it's just a very relaxing place, really like that me and my son can fish, my wife enjoyed sitting on the porch. It's our new favorite spot.

Trip to visit my daughter

stayed here with my wife. the place is clean and met expectations. best part, aside from the great lake view, is the big fenced yard for the hounds. I have four dogs, and they had a ball!. they loved it! it was also far enough away from the city to feel like a retreat and close enough to Spartanburg city, as well as the smaller Chesnee Boiling Springs. I have always enjoyed Lake Blaylock, so this was great!

Property is very serene and laid back

Let me start by saying the property is very serene and laid back, and met our expectations of quiet and relaxing. That’s for momma! Realistically speaking, several items in the description need correction. Chalet? Not. How about 2/1 mobile home. Fire pit with firewood? No useable firewood was provided. When contacted the host referred us to the local store to buy our own firewood. (This contradicted the VRBO description, (“Enjoy the fire pit with firewood”). The porch was delightful in the afternoon, but due to the time of year it was chilly in the mornings and evenings; two propane space heaters were available on the porch, but they did not contain any gas; when contacted the host referred us to the local store to buy our own. VRBO should be updated to say bring your own propane if you want to use our outside heaters. The coffee maker is Keurig. They did provide 13 pods of which only 3 were regular coffee, if you like regular coffee bring your own pods. Tub/Shower combo worked, but the grout needs a deep cleaning and maybe the caulk around the window was gray/black to match the grout (but around a white window it looks dirty). Master bedroom; the bed was a bit soft and sagged to the middle, The four larger pillows only had Pillow Shams on them, and no regular cases provided. If you want peace and quiet and you bring your own wood, propane, coffee, and pillowcases, then come and enjoy the 2/1 mobile home called “Escape to a relaxing retreat just minutes away”.

Paradise

This property met our expectations and more. We did not want to leave. My husband and I came for much needed rest and relaxation and we are certainly refreshed. If you enjoy peace and quiet and nature this is the place.

Cute Rustic Cabin

Overall our stay was amazing! It was quite and secluded. The listing is accurate. The lake is beautiful, the hot tube was clean and warm. Unfortunately we did not get to use it, as the weather was a little to cool. We would definitely stay again.

Very relaxing

Really enjoyed our stay, house was clean, house was also stock good with amenities. We really enjoyed being close to the lake was able to fish everyday and at night build a fire and just relax. Sit on the porch in the morning drink a cup of coffee and watch the birds and squirrels. Had no problems with checking in, host always replied when message. Just overall a lovely place if you want a relaxing vacation.
