elegant and comfortable first floor apartment, lake view, located in one of the most beautiful areas of Desenzano. About ten minutes on foot you can reach both the railway station and the bus terminal or the historic center, with the possibility of boarding ferries. The residence has a large common green area, a large swimming pool and a small one supervised by a lifeguard. the apartment consists of an open plan lounge-kitchen with terrace where you can have lunch overlooking the lake, a double bedroom with balcony overlooking the pool and a second three-bedded room, two bathrooms, one with shower and one with bath tub. The sleeping area is equipped with air conditioning. On the ground floor there is a laundry room and garage. There is also a large and convenient parking outside.

Overall great experience

Just as stated by many other guests, we felt very welcome by Giovanna. The apartment is really big and comfortable and the pool is just great!

Beautiful stay

We had a wonderful holiday at Lake Garda. It is so beautiful with lovely trips on the lake and walking round the area. The apartment suited us very well. It is very clean and well cared for and definitely the best equipped home we have stayed in which helped to make the holiday stress free. The only thing to be aware of is that it is hilly - the walk back up from a meal out was fine for us but something to be aware of if you’re holidaying without a car.

Desenzano

We enjoyed our stay very much. Lake Garda is beautiful. There were some problems with with some of the electronics but were addressed quickly by Luca, our downstairs neighbor. Luca was wonderful.

Great location; Fabulous host

Very convenient location within a mile or less of town, grocery store and train station. Very walkable to all (there is a bit of a hill coming back from town but my 92 year old father managed fine). The unit itself is exactly as depicted in photos. The complex and lake views are gorgeous. By far the best thing about the property, however, is the owner, Giovanna. She was always available to answer any questions or address any issues that came up. She takes great pride in her home and goes out of her way to make sure that your stay is the best it can be!

Excellent

We had a fabulous stay at this beautiful property which had everything we needed - a real home from home. The location is excellent for visiting the towns and sites of Lake Garda, as well as the cities of Milan, Verona and Venice (easily accessed by train). Giovanna's recommendations of places to eat and visit helped us find some little gems that we would have otherwise missed - what a generous and thoughtful hostess! The pool is so lovely and being in a residential community it is often empty. The food and wine welcome gift was appreciated. So much to do.....we will definitely be going back!

Wonderful. Gio is the most amazing host. Such a lovely lady. She met us at the train station and gave us a lift and followed that up with a lift to the supermarket as well. Her home is fantastic and has everything you need. The beds are so comfortable and it is nice and spacious. WiFi is great with teens. Pool is also great - 2.3m deep in the big bit. I used Gios washing machine a fair bit which is very helpful too. It's only 10 minutes walk ( and flat) to the train station and you can get buses from there too ( the Sirmione bus is 26. - opposite side of the road to the train station) if you want to go into Desenzano for town or for ferry it is about 20 minutes walk. It is a substantial hill so you need to brace yourself on the way back for the last bit! We enjoyed taking different routes every time and checking out all the architecture. Overall I am so pleased I found Gios house and I totally recommend it.

Wonderful holiday at Garda Lake

We had two wonderful weeks in the house in Desenzano. The apartement is well equipped, very nice and clean. We didn't miss anything and it felt like home. We loved sitting on the balcony and swimming in the pool which is awesome. There weren't many people, so it was always quiet, especially in the morning and evening. We had a lot of towels for the two bathrooms and the four sun loungers . When the weather was hot the air conditioning was very helpful to sleep well at night. It was practical to have a garage and a washing machine. Nearby the house (10-15 minutes by foot) is a small supermarket (Conad) where we could buy anything we wanted. You only need 5 minutes by car to a big supermarket (esselunga) in Desenzano. We liked this small city and the surrounding area very much. We made lots of nice trips to interesting places at the eastern coast of Garda Lake and on the mountains but also to Verona and Venice. Giovanna is a very kind person. Every day she gave us helpful advices. She greeted us very warm hearted and said goodbye personally. We would love to rent her appartement and visit Desenzano and Garda Lake a second time. Fantástico

En realidad todo muy cómodo, limpieza un 10, el entorno increíble pero hay que tener en cuenta el desnivel de desenzano para llegar del centro al apartamento (10 minutos andando). Giovanna es un encanto que os lo ara todo más fácil.

Eine wunderschöne Wohnung, liebevoll eingerichtet, es ist alles da was man für einen schönen entspannten Urlaub braucht. Giò ist eine wundervolle liebe herzensgute Frau. Sie hat uns täglich mit Tipps den Urlaub versüßt, bei der Ankunft begrüßten wir uns wie alte Freunde die sich lange nicht gesehen haben, auch der Abschied verlief so. Selbst heute nach dem Urlaub stehe ich mit Giò noch immer in Kontakt, einfach wunderbar, wenn ich könnte würde ich mehr Sterne geben. Liebe Giò alles alles Liebe und bleib Gesund. Liebe Grüße aus OldenburgUn bellissimo appartamento, arredato con cura, con tutto il necessario per una vacanza meravigliosa e rilassante. Giò è una donna meravigliosa, gentile e amorevole. Un sejour inoubliable

De l'accueil de Giovanna hyperchaleureux en passant par l'emplacement , l'appartement très grand confortable, la piscine immense, la vue sur le lac, tout etait parfait pour rendre notre sejour inoubliable. Bref vacances fabueuses!

Sehr schöner Urlaub

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Zeit in "La Casa di Gio" verbracht. Gio ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, hat uns persönlich empfangen und alles ausführlich erklärt. Während des gesamten Aufenthalts war Sie immer mit uns in Kontakt und hat uns Tipps und Empfehlungen für Ausflüge usw. gegeben. Besonders gefallen hat uns "Die Isola dei Conigli", der Aquapark und Verona. Oder einfach relaxen am Pool. Und nicht zu vergessen "Ristorante Mirabello". Wir hoffen, eines Tages wieder zu kommen.

Eine tolle Ferienwohnung

Eine sehr gut eingerichtete Ferienwohnung, mit allem was man so brauch.Sehr herzliche Vermieterin. Es gab sogar eine Willkommensüberraschung. Man brauch zu Fuß ca. 15 min bis ins Zentrum von Desenzano. Der Pool ist sehr sauber und sehr gut zu nutzen.

Quel accueil !

Bien entendu il y a le logement, très spacieux, bien agencé, bien équipé, très propre. Evidemment, il y a le cadre extérieur, vue sur le lac, agréable piscine peu fréquentée, région magnifique et accès facile vers les grands poles touristiques de la région (Vérone, Sirmione, Bergame, Venise, Milan,...). Mais surtout, il y a l'accueil, la bienveillance de Giovanna qui met à cœur que votre séjour soit parfait. Cela commence par un panier gourmand avec les spécialités de la région mais ensuite ce sont des conseils et des petits mots plus chaleureux les uns que les autres. Bref, on se sent bien à la casa de Gio. A recommander +++

Tolle Wohnung, alle Erwartungen wurden erfüllt

Auf Grund der bisherigen Bewertungen waren unsere Erwartungen an die Wohnung hoch und unsere Erwartungen wurden nicht nur erfüllt sondern noch übertroffen. Tolle Wohnung mit einem Pool in dem man richtig schwimmen kann (Tiefe 1-2,30m Wassertiefe, daneben ein kleiner Pool mit 0,75m. Uns hat es in der Wohnung an nichts gefehlt! Die Kommunikation mit Gio war bereits im Vorfeld sehr gut und jeden Morgen gab es eine WhatsApp- Nachricht mit Empfehlungen für den Tag, Fragen wurden schnell beantwortet. Wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Urlaub👍

Wohnung mit Wohlfühlfaktor

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist sehr rustikal eingerichtet. Die Möbel, Elektrogeräte, Zimmer, Bäder usw. sind sehr gut erhalten und funktionieren tadellos. Man merkt dass die Giovanna sehr viel Herzblut hineingesteckt hat. Am Pool gab es einen Bademeister und die Grünanlage wurde regelmäßig gepflegt. Der Pool war nie überfüllt was sehr angenehm war. Zur Wohnung gehört eine eigene Garage. Man kommt direkt vom Treppenhaus durch eine Tür dahin und es steht dort auch eine Waschmaschine. Giovanna war sehr hilfsbereit und konnte uns sehr viele Tipps geben z.B wo man gut isst, was man besichtigen kann usw. Wir haben es richtig genossen und kommen gerne wieder. Mille Grazie Giovanna

Fabulous stay

We stayed as a family of 4 for 2 weeks in August 2019. From start to finish Giovanna was so kind & so friendly. She checked in with us everyday & even brought us to the supermarket for supplies. The Apartment is 13 minutes walk to the Center of town with many beautiful restaurants & cafe bars. Would highly recommend 5 star.

Perfekte Urlaubswoche

Sehr gut ausgestattete Wohnung, die keine Wünsche offen ließ. Giovanna war eine perfekte Gastgeberin, die über Whatsapp immer erreichbar war und täglich einen guten Tipp rund um den See für uns hatte (sie spricht sehr gut Englisch). Großer und sehr saberer Pool (mit zwei Liegen und zwei Stühlen) und Garage (groß genug für unseren Tiguan). Strategisch perfekte Lage - zu Fuß nach Desenzano und zum Bahnhof (mit Zugverbindungen nach Verona, Mailand und Venedig ) in 10 Minuten. Sirmione mit seiner malerischen Altstadt haben wir zu Fuß erwandert und sind dann mit dem Schiff wieder zurück. Wir (2 Erwachsene / 2 Kinder ) haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Wohnung nur empfehlen.

Sehr toller Empfang durch Giovanna. Sehr schöne Wohnung in ruhiger Lage, tolle Anlage. Wir waren 4 Erwachsene, für die die Wohnung auch sehr gut geeignet ist. Die Ausstattung läst keine Wünsche offen. Giovanna gibt jede Menge Tipps und sollte es einmal Probleme geben, so ist Luca, ein Mitbewohner im Haus sofort zur Stelle. Wir haben uuns außerordentlich wohl gefühlt. Giovanna herzlichen Dank für die schöne Woche.

Fantastic property, great area.

This was a great property for us. The apartment is very well maintained and clean. Giovanna is fantastic, and want the best for the guest. No problem with communication, and she give us tips for restaurants and places to visit.

Hervorragende Adresse für einen entspannten Urlaub

Die Wohnung befindet sich in einer herrlichen Hanglage fußläufig nach Desenzano. Sehr gepflegt, sehr sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Giovanna ist eine perfekte Gastgeberin. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
