Bottom floor guest house offering two bedrooms, 1 bath, full kitchen and living room. Master features Queen bed, guest bedroom offers two twin beds. Living room has comfy couch with flat screen television. Kitchen with double sink, smooth service stove, built in microwave and fridge. Enjoy the dock and boat ramp, fire pit, 2 kayaks, 2 bicycles, and charcoal grill. Walking distance to Back Water Fins, grill and bar. Sit on the porch and read a book or cast a line. Watch the dolphins and otters cruise by! Beautiful sunrises! Perfect for a weekend get-a-way or scalloping, or snowbirds! Come for a weekend or stay for a while. We are off the beaten path and a rare find anymore in Florida. Just the 5 mile drive down Ozello Trail is something to see. Kingfishers, Egrets, Eagles, Heron's and so many more native birds can be seen on just the drive down! It's old Florida living, the way it used to be. There is no washer and dryer but the laundry mat is only right up the road. We don't want you doing laundry while your here! Take it home with you and enjoy the stay. Enjoy one of the many tiki huts. Play your music, watch a football game. Bring a cooler of beer and sit on the dock or walk next door and enjoy lunch or fresh shrimp or blue crab locally caught! We look forward to seeing you soon. Upstairs is not included in rental as owner lives upstairs but is hardly ever there and as cool as can be. Play your music, make a fire, smoke a cigar and don't worry about a care in the world.

Charming Ozello home with water access and comfortable accommodations. Perfect spot to enjoy nature and serenity. Especially enjoyed all the lounge chairs and shady areas to relax outside. Could hear the live music at Backfins. We never had to turn on a radio, we enjoyed the music in the background each evening.

What a fun little place to get away! The cottage had everything we needed as well as a lovely view on the canal. It’s right next door to Backwater Fins restaurant which was perfect for dinner. We visited during the absolute hottest time of the year so the AC struggled a little bit to keep up but it was still pleasant inside. We would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay. The dolphin viewing from the back yard was amazing. Hand feeding the peacock was a cool experience. The airboat tour was only a 3 minute drive and was magical. The house was comfortable and we slept well.

Cool place

Really interesting place. The outdoor bar area is nice. It’s easy to get to all the things that Crystal River and Homosassa have to offer. We grilled out in the back yard and I did some fishing. The pet peacock would come by a couple time a day, and we saw river otters playing right in front of the house.

Perfect chill vibe!

If you are looking for a quiet place off the beaten path that has a perfect chill Caribbean vibe, look no further! We love the outdoors and spent most of our time relaxing riverside in the lounge chairs or hanging out in the quirky tiki bar. We travel often and this was our most favorite VRBO! Do not miss the restaurant next door, Backwater Fins. It was excellent. Can't wait until we can return to this gem!

Beautiful Location

Cute place located along a mangrove inlet. Absolutely beautiful and relaxing place to stay. We took the kayaks out for a sunrise paddle and it was absolutely stunning! It is just a quick drive from Crystal River so I recommend staying here. Sound carries so the boats around the area can be kind of loud and you can hear the bar/restaurant across the way.

Amazing!

Unique piece of property and decor. Super clean and comfortable. Enjoyed a bike ride and kayaking and the restaurant, which was a short walk around the corner. It was really, really good. We had a peacock visit multiple times and he was very social and handsome. Highly recommend this place if you’re traveling to Crystal River!

Magical!

It was amazing, SO clean, SO beautiful! Our hosts were fantastic, the entire atmosphere was so tropical and relaxing! The pet peacock Ozzy was AMAZING, he has a perfect life roaming free on the beautiful property! Please respect his home.

Perfect Oasis

The property itself was a gem let alone all it had to offer truly made quite the impression. Kayaks were easily available and fully functional. The cherry on top was listening to the live band at the end of the canal while sitting at the fire pit. Home was cleanly and had all the essentials to feel like a home away from home. Kathi was a phenomenal communicator for any and all questions! We will definitely be back!

Amazing!

We wish we could’ve been there longer! Place was even better than the listing showed! Our out of town family loved the kayaks and we enjoyed a great fire in the pit. Backwater fin was great for dinner and easy walk. Our small dog loved it and Ozzie, the peacock, was such a unique treat. We will be back!

Paradise

Headed down to Crystal Lake for the weekend. Stopped in at the three sisters spring to watch the manatees. The house was within minutes of the park. Enjoyed the evening overlooking the water. Would stay again.

Quirky and quiet

The property is easily accessible and yet off the beaten path. It has a heavy Pirates of the Caribbean vibe. You feel like you’re staying at the edge of the world. One small suggestion small bedside table lamps would be nice. Hosts are delightful

Awesome location

We really enjoyed this stay! The location is beautiful. My kids enjoyed feeding the pet peacock peanuts. We enjoyed a canoe/ kayak ride amongst the mangroves. It was nearby to various restaurants and Manatee/ airboat attractions. You could honestly enjoy just hanging out on the property. The remembers were there but very friendly and helpful. Kathy was a great host. The accommodations are in the basement and being so close to the water there was a little bit of a funky smell. It didn't really bother us though. Kids thought the beds were uncomfortable so they slept on the couch. All and all quite happy with the stay!
