Hi Andy — Thank you for your review. I apologize that there were not hair dryers at the property when you arrived. However, I was able to provide 2 new hair dryers to you within 1 hour of your request, and I hope you felt that my efforts resolved this issue quickly and adequately. I agree that the construction work being done on the road and utilities below was inconvenient, however this was a project set by Manatee County, and we were not made aware of this in advance. Usually when repairs like this occur without notice, they are of an emergency type nature. The inconvenience from this required County project was out of our control, but I do apologize that it affected your stay. With that being said, I am glad you and your family enjoyed the quality of this home and Anna Maria Island in general. We would happily welcome you back for future stays! We hope that we’ll see you again.

I also agree that the location is very convenient - steps from the beach, and close to it all. I'm very sorry and surprised to hear that you considered cancelling your reservation. I know we spoke a few times prior to your stay in which you asked about the red tide conditions. I hope you felt my detailed updates, links to national weather and Mote Marine websites to track the red tide status, and our daily live beach videos on our social media page were helpful. Had I known you were still concerned about the red tide after providing that information, I could have moved your dates to another week in the year since you purchased travel insurance. We want our guests to feel comfortable, relaxed, and have a wonderful vacation on Anna Maria Island! We hope to have the opportunity to host you again. -Ashley
