The home is in an excellent beach front location in Gibsons with a beautiful view from the accessible back yard. Christine was an ideal host, friendly, welcoming and responsive if needed. Great place to stay with everything we needed, comfortable king sized bed and a well stocked kitchen space. Thanks for a great stay.

The property is even better than the photos. It is close to everything in Gibsons, including restaurants, shopping and the beach. Christine has thought of every detail for both two-legged and four-legged friends!

Location fabulous as was the suite. The only issue would be the lack of a microwave. Host was very nice and friendly - lovely hanging out in the garden or right at the water edge during high tide. Location great for Molly's Reach and 'down town' as well as beach and walks along the water front.

My husband, our Labrador and myself had an absolutely wonderful stay here. We were able to walk to all the shops and restaurants and of course the beaches! It was quiet and relaxing and the host truly has put their love and attention to detail into the place because it truly showed. We cannot wait to stay here again. A perfect anniversary weekend getaway from the city. I could not recommend this wonderful rental more!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Lucky Dog. The place was very comfortable and clean. Location was an easy walk into the town of Gibsons.

My husband and I stayed at the Lucky Dog Garden Suite for three nights, and it was absolutely wonderful. The suite is exceptionally well-kept, clean, and spacious. The king-size mattress was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was beautifully spacious as well.Christine has thought of everything you need for a comfortable stay. We loved the thoughtful touches, like the fresh cream and milk in the fridge, fresh coffee beans, a coffee grinder, and high-quality plates and glassware.The views from the backyard are stunning. Even though it rained during our trip, Christine was incredibly accommodating and allowed us to use her covered deck. We spent a peaceful morning there drinking coffee and watching the birds in the quiet. It was also the perfect spot to host our local friends for a great visit.The location is super convenient. You can walk to all the local restaurants, and the beach is right in the backyard. Thank you so much, Christine, for being such a thoughtful host. We had a highly enjoyable weekend and will definitely be back!

Gorgeous little escape in Gibson’s. Pet friendly with all the things a dog needs - toys, blankets and dog beds! Christine is a brilliant host and made us most comfortable in her little cottage. Great attention to detail from the deep brown wood floors to the pebble floored shower. Loved it!

This is a magical spot. As soon as you arrive you feel relaxed and welcome. Lots of places to walk with your dog and close to many restaurants. Great place to just disconnect and enjoy nature. The hostess was amazing.

Great Fall Getaway

We enjoyed our time at The Lucky Dog! Location was perfect, we walked everywhere and never used our car. Very dog friendly.

Great Location- Beautiful Accommodations

This is a great location to walk around the town and the beach. The cottage and the grounds are georgeous. Christine is a great host.

I loved having Kimberly and her partner here. They came with two very well behaved dogs and during the course of 5 days I didn’t hear one sound! They left the suite in mint condition and are welcome back anytime!! Very nice to meet you all!

Perfect coastal stay

I stayed here with my mom and our two small dogs and it was perfect. The location is steps away from the marina and the path to all the shops and restaurants in Gibsons. The suite is just what you need and the windows look out to a well kept garden and small park. I'd happily stay here next time I visit the Sunshine Coast.

Great for couples with a dog

We had an amazing stay. The location is perfect and our dog, who is usually a little stressed while travelling, truly enjoyed it. I hope to return some day.

Couldn't have asked for a better stay!

My partner and I are so happy with our stay. We stayed right on the water, and our dog absolutely loved it. We were able to relax, enjoy the town, and were only a short drive to Sechelt. I highly recommend staying here.

Great stay

We had a wonderful stay. The location is amazing, easily walkable to all of the amenities around the Gibsons waterfront. The communication with Christine was easy and prompt.

Great Cottage

Beautiful little cottage walking distance to the marina, market, shops and restaurants in Lower Gibsons. There was everything we needed, along with some nice extra touches. The owner, Christine, is a lovely lady. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again in the future.

Great getaway

Christine was a wonderful host and her suite was perfect for my wife and I. Great views of the marina from the wonderful garden and walking distance to the town of Gibson’s. We had a lovely time and would recommend this place for a getaway.

This is a one of a kind property and house. Built in the 1930's as a beach house. It has been renovated many times and I am now the fortunate owner of a lovely home on the water.
